JOKER: The village that fell to the Nosferatu...

MOZUME: Yeah... my family... and all the nice folks from the village... they're all gone now... Hic... Uuu...

JOKER: Crying won't bring your family back.

MOZUME: I know that... but... Hic... waaah....

JOKER: Then cry all you want. Eventually you'll run outta tears. Once that's happened, pick yourself on and move onwards.

JOKER: Dreamt about your hometown again? Keep crying like that and sooner or later you'll dry up into jerky.

MOZUME: Joker... I don't cry all th' time. But.. sometimes I get these mem'ries of home... back when we were all happy...

JOKER: Do you? I envy you.

MOZUME: Huh? Do ya? What do I have ta' envy?

JOKER: I don't have any past that's worth remembering.

MOZUME: Huh?

JOKER: I was turned over to the royal castle when I was a child, and I never saw my parents again after that. To put it bluntly, I was abandoned. I don't have any happy memories, not of my homeland, the town I lived in, or my even my parents.

MOZUME: Joker...

JOKER: Chances are, if I hadn't met Master Kamui, my life would still be hell right now.

MOZUME: That sounds... rough...

JOKER: Yeah, that's why you're blessed to have those happy memories of your village.

MOZUME: ... Yer right. Maybe I don't got it so bad after all... Much obliged, Joker. I feel a li'l better now.

JOKER: I just happened to be passing by those times. Don't get the wrong idea.

JOKER: Tch. This is the problem with you hillbillies...

MOZUME: Thanks a ton fer takin car o' me. I'll do my best ta be useful to the folks here, so you keep on watchin' over me, alright?
