This is what my post actually says

Now, this is just my opinion, but any time I can't have my content left-aligned I can't actually read it.

So.. could there possibly be an option to move the left-hand bar (the one that has a list of boards, option to create a discussion, and guidelines) either to the top or right-hand side of the screen?

[b]And can we use old style tags too?[/b] I really hate how sometimes my *'s go missing
 if I use *'s too many times in a line..

(e.g. right there-- I do like to use *s in multiple places, for example when I don't know how to spell one of the words I have decided it would be wise for me to use (for whatever arcane reason my brain decided to conjure that day)).

This buggering nonsense--* sometimes I want to make a multi-line long italic, and it doesn't go (see how there are two asteriks (this word, I can't spell it) with text between them, but the text is not italicised?

Really, honestly can't figure out why these 'stars' aren't being converted into italics, yet the others aren't. Both times in this post I have written the shift+8 char, and in one case it gets eaten for italics and in the other it simply doesn't.
