- Ability name: Objection!
- Effects (please elaborate what it does): This ability points out the flaws in an opponent's argument or a witness's testimony, often using evidence from the court record or an organizer.
- ...But aside from the details that don't matter, it's Pure Power + setting up Dual Screens (or an aurora veil, either works really) and a +1 attack boost on switchin.

- ===========
- [Please explain the role of your staffmon in a battle. Include your reasoning behind any aspects that do not adhere to the guidelines on the forums. In the event that the dev has to takes the initiative to nerf your staffmon without your consent, your original design and purpose will be kept as much as possible.]
- This Pokémon is designed to put a hamper on all kinds of threats, whether they're a lightning bruiser, a boost farmer, or just plain annoying. Its ability and moveset are made to make opposing Pokémon easier for the rest of the team to handle, by setting up screens to (temporarily) handle sweepers, stealing boosts from boosters, and paralyzing anything that's too fast to handle. With eviolite and dual screens, this Pokémon is definitely bulky enough to take even the strongest hits in the meta. As such, I opted not to give it direct recovery or a boosting move of its own, because that would just be pushing it.
- With the Ability (Pure Power + Screens + a +1 Attack boost) and the Eviolite factored in, this is what the Marill's final stats will look like:
- 281 HP
- 456 Atk
- 504 Def
- 68 SpA
- 504 SpD
- 116 Spe
- With only 116 speed, it's unlikely that this Pokémon will outspeed even a paralyzed foe.
- I added a +1 Attack boost to the ability because 304 Attack is weak in my opinion; I want this Pokémon to have some killing power, after all.
- In the event that this Pokémon is still found to be broken, the best course of action in my opinion would be to reduce this Pokémon's attack strength by changing the nature to Impish and changing the EV spread to [252 Atk / 96 Def / 160 SpD], which would make the final stats as follows:
- 281 HP
- 417 Atk
- 528 Def
- 68 SpA
- 528 SpD
- 116 Spe
- Alternatively you can just go with the original nature/EV spread and remove the +1 attack boost to make it super weak.
- → Okay, cool. Why does it have Metronome?
- Because I like Metronome.
- I understand that if my submission does not follow the guidelines listed on the forums without providing legitimate reasons on why I chose to design it this way, my submission may be edited or removed entirely without any warning. (Y/N): Y
