- Evening of Thursday October 8th, 2016
- I woke up feeling a bit better today, but still sore and stiff. As I rehydrated further, I felt stronger, and was able to walk, but had to move slowly. I weighed in 2.75lbs lighter than yesterday, the single biggest daily drop yet, and I believe around a pound of that was dehydration. This brings my weight loss to over 28 lbs, but I suspect, as I have now rehydrated, I will lose less than usual tomorrow. My systolic blood pressure dropped 18 points over night. Since taking limited electrolytes in the early afternoon, I am moving and feeling much better. Last night my muscles felt incredibly sore, like I had run a long distance and had done way too many pushups. As I got sodium into my body, it got better, but that sore feeling is still there. Tonight begins the 25th day of the hunger strike, and I will not yield.
