# **Hello, /r/pokemon**

I've seen a few posts and comments saying that they've been unsuccessful at the Battle Tree, so I want to share my Battle Tree Singles teams, that I've used to get a Streak of 50. I have to clarify these teams weren't built by me, but rather, by someone else. Their sources are stated in their respective teams. These are the teams:

**Now, maybe you are wondering, how do I use these? What are the strategies? Well, here they are:**
66
67
- **1st team:**
68
69
> **TL;DR: Kartana can sweep most Pokémon, you can stall with Toxapex whatever Kartana can't handle and Mimikyu can come in handy in some circumstances.**
70
71
> You basically want to sweep most Pokémon with Kartana, which IMO has pretty good coverage, and it gets 2 STAB moves. It has one move that can never fail, another one that ignores all stat boosts and another one that can crit. easily. It can hit really hard, and everytime it knocks out a Pokémon, it gains an Attack boost. This can make it unstoppable. It is also quite fast, so it can outspeed most things. Just be careful with some Pokémon, such as Special Attackers (from which Kartana will certainly faint if they receive an attack from them) or Fire types, which can knock out Kartana pretty easily because of the x4 weakness. If you are sure you can outspeed them and OHKO them, go ahead, but normally you want to avoid these Pokémon.
72
73
> Whatever Kartana can't handle, Toxapex can stall until it faints. Basically, you want to Toxic the Pokémon, use Baneful Bunker, attack with Scald in some turns, and if you run low on health use Recover. If there's something you can poison, you basically want to use Scald and stall until they get burned. If things get out of control and you can't take a hit, but need to recover, you can switch to Mimikyu, which basically gets a free switch in, and recover some health using the ability Regenerator.
74
75
> Mimikyu can come in handy when Toxapex runs low on health, or there's something you can't handle with Kartana nor Toxapex. After a Swords Dance, it can hit pretty hard with Play Rough and Shadow Claw. You can also use Shadow Sneak instead of Shadow Claw so you can attack first. Shadow Sneak can OHKO some Pokémon with a Swords Dance set up. If you need to recover, you have Leech Life, which got a huge boost in this gen, and now has 80BP.
76
77
- **2nd team:**
78
79
> **TL;DR: You can knock out most Pokémon with Salamence using STAB Double-Edge, you can take control of Ice types and other Pokémon with Kartana and you can stall some tanky Pokémon using Toxapex.**
80
81
> You'll Mega Evolve Salamence at the first turn. Mega Salamence is quite fast, and can outspeed most things, it also has a great Attack stat, and is kinda tanky. You can use Double-Edge which is now Flying-type due to Aerilate, so you also get a STAB boost. This can hit really hard, and you can use Earthquake for Fire or Electric types. I only use Dragon Claw when facing another dragon. As you get higher in your streak, you'll notice you can't just use Double-Edge in everything, so then Dragon Dance can come in handy when you are facing something tanky or speedy. Don't try knock out Ice type Pokémon if you are unsure you can OHKO it. Ice type hurts really bad Salamence because of that x4 weakness.
82
83
> You can use Kartana when facing Ice types and hitting with Sacred Sword. If there's something Salamence can't handle for some reason, you can switch in to Kartana and get it under control. Just remember to be careful with Fire types and Special Attackers. Kartana gets an Attack boost every time it knocks out a Pokémon.
84-
> If there's something really tanky, or you can't handle
84+
85
> If there's something really tanky, or you can't handle it with Salamence or Kartana, you can stall it out with Toxapex. You can use Toxic, Baneful Bunker for (normal) poisoning upon physical contact, Scald to attack and burn Pokémon that can't be poisoned and Recover to recover your HP if you run low in it.
