  1. So...here's the middle of it, since I have absolutely no idea what leads up to it. Me and my step brother are going to this guy's house in hopes that I can finally track him down. I'm searching for him, though I don't know why. All I know is that at this point in the dream, I had made it my personal mission to find him..and...kill him? Interrogate him? Torture him? Hug him? I honestly had no idea. All I know was that I was going to catch him. Anything from there was anyone's guess.

  3. Anyway, we try the front of his house after getting out of what I believe was a police car. We knock and he doesn't answer. We then go around to the back. The house was as residential as it could get. It was just a regular house in a subdivision, manicured lawn and all. We knock on the back door and we find a guy. My step brother starts asking him questions about the man we're searching for. My step brother tries some fancy wordplay with him, when I spot him running towards a climbable rock wall. A thought races through my head that he already made a run for it and escaped through the back when we knocked on the front door. I immediately start to sprint after him being just a handful of yards behind him. He finishes climbing the rock-wall as I start from the bottom. I quickly push myself to climb it and make it to the top, where I then start to chase him through thick plains of grass. Nothing but miles of tall grass.

  5. And this...is where it gets...really kinda personal. I don't really know what happens next. I keep chasing him, and chasing him..and chasing...until I lose sight of him. I don't stop though. I can feel myself starting to become tired. Becoming exhausted. The cool of the grass and the chill of the air. The sky darkens softly as a light rain begins to drop onto my fur. I notice that instead of running on two feet and am human, I'm on all fours and running like a feral beast. I want nothing more than to catch this thing I am chasing and for my hunt to be over. I've been searching so long...working so hard... I can feel the soft soil under my paws. The grass touching my arms and body. I fall once, my face becoming lodged into some grass and mud. I get up and start to continue the search, only to not see where he went. I'm now lost and alone. The sky starting to rain heavier as I get up and start to run in his last known direction. I can't smell him due to the fresh rain. I then fall against after running a short distance. I lack the will to get back up. So much trying...so much work. All for nothing. I don't have any will to continue anymore. I summon my energy to make one last howl at the sky, almost certain that my prey could hear it. A few tears started to make their way to my face as I looked at the spot that I had fallen. My body now caked in mud and rain, I let myself lay down completely. Fully giving up and giving into defeat. I then found myself drift off...possibly to die. Then I woke up, feeling a strange mixture of intense sadness and deep fulfillment. It was almost a perfect harmony of emotions. Almost completely tranquil. That's the dream that haunts me. I don't know why to this day. I had that dream almost 4-5 years ago.
