movements can do a lot!

here in Spain a 7 monts old party in bi party system just managed to be the first party in the polls...this party is called PODEMOS and in the last EU elections they managed to get 5 MEPs. So yes it is possible...and when they got that they were only a movement not even a really constituted party.

 People should read the police files on the Occupy movement to understand what we are up against here in the US.  DHS hired violent people to harass us, including rape/death threats and threatening to sue me. My friends were threatened with 2 years in jail for holding an AIDS vigil in a public park after it officially closed. Some other friends of mine, the police falsely accused them of assault on a police officer, and they faced potentially years in jail. I have been followed by undercover police cars.

Sometimes, I think that the US will never really change. People in the US want to keep their privilege. There's a lot of very colonialist attitudes here still.
