  1. No category, rhyme or reason to my ideas, this week. Just 6 [and a 1/2] random ideas that should be addressed.
  2.
  3. #1: xD
  4.
  5. Someone tell Adrian and/or Boss to look at the bios of the Lady Blader Mecha entries in the site Databases of BOTH Prototypes, then, take a picture of their faces for me. x)

  9. #2: Out With Ability Speeds And In With.....
  10.
  11. .....Ability Speeds. Lemme explain.
  12.
  13. You all know how Each offensive ability has a base damage amount that is then tacked onto the user's Attack stat and then takes the target's Defense stat into account before calculating damage? Well, what if all abilities did that with Speed, too?
  14.
  15. That is, what if the Ability Speed for Quick Boomerang was x1.35 [1.35 x the user's Speed]?
  16. What about Hard Knuckle? That could be x0.85.
  17.
  18. Here's a list, in fact.
  19.
  20. Bass Baroque? x1.
  21. Bass Buster? x0.95.
  22. Bass Crush? x1.
  23. Buster Shot? x1.5.
  24. Copy Shot? x1.45.
  25. Cossack Buster? x0.95.
  26. Crash Bomber? x1.
  27. Danger Bomb? x0.75.
  28. Drill Blitz? x1.05.
  29. Gemini Laser? x1.05.
  30. Hyper Bomb? x0.95.
  31. Light Buster? x0.95.
  32. Mega Ball? x1.1.
  33. Mega Buster? x0.95.
  34. Mega Slide? x1.2.
  35. Metal Blade? x1.05.
  36. Needle Cannon? x1.
  37. Oil Shooter? x1.1.
  38. Oil Slider? x1.35.
  39. Quick Boomerang? x1.45.
  40. Pharaoh Shot? x0.95.
  41. Proto Buster? x0.95.
  42. Proto Shield? x1.2.
  43. Proto Strike? x1.4.
  44. Rhythm Buster? x0.95.
  45. Ring Boomerang? x1.05.
  46. Rising Cutter? x1.
  47. Roll Buster? x0.95.
  48. Rolling Cutter? x1.
  49. Search Snake? x1.15.
  50. Spark Shock? x1.05.
  51. Super Throw? x0.8.
  52. Thunder Beam? x1.15.
  53. Thunder Strike? x1.2.
  54. Top Spin? x1.05.
  55. Wily Buster? x0.95.
  56.
  57. Here's a thorough example. Say that there's a normal, Lv. 1 Rhythm [150-80-80-90] fighting a normal Lv. 1 Quick Man [100-72-68-160]. On Turn 1, Rhythm uses the above Buster shot while Quick Man uses Top Spin. Rhythm's Speed for that turn would become 135, and Quick's would be 168, enabling Quick to still attack first.
  58.
  59. This will singlehandedly make the Speed Stat relevant, especially as we already have a mechanic for Accuracy in the Abilities themselves.
  60.
  61. If I'm expected to come up with these new values for all existing Abilities, I'll GLADLY give that a shot, if necessary.
  62.

  65. #3: Bonus Field 3?
  66.
  67. .....Bosses [mandatory and optional] with all Mults starting at x1. 'nuff said.
  68.
  69. =====
  70.
  71. #4: Bonus Field 4?
  72.
  73. .....Optional SUPERbosses with all Mults starting at x1. 'nuff said.
  74.
  75. OK, fine, Bonus Fields because it'll save Adrian some programming, plus they already use all 11 Boss themes. There.
  76.
  77. =====
  78.
  79. #5: v2 music.
  80.
  81. It was recently brought to my attention [Thanks, Tails] that LegendOfRenegade made a v2 of what we currently know as both the MM10 Wily Castle 5 theme, and the Prototype Subspace theme.
  82.
  83. I've since noticed that there are other v2's, as well, so, I'd like to make a suggestion about these: save them for later. The better sounding, more instrumental music should be saved for later as an analogy to how much more intense things are about to get. If we run into the Subspace again near the end of the mandatory game [or in the Story+, for that matter], you could use the v2 version there, instead.
  84.

  86.
  87. #6: Speaking of Music.....
  88.
  89. Here's an idea that could save Adrian quite a few headaches.
  90.
  91. You all probably know the massive amounts of work that goes into Adrian programming *A* Field, let alone the ~40 that've ALREADY been programmed, yes? Well, I noticed that Bonus Fields 1 and 2 have MULTIPLE music tracks [the 11 boss themes in the MM series, to be precise] as their themes. What if other stages could have multiple themes and ALSO serve as the field for RM's for MM7 and onward?
  92.
  93. For example, Adrian could plug Freeze Man's theme into Arctic Jungle and use it as Freeze Man's default; he respects Ice Man to death, anyway.
  94.
  95. He could also use Astro Man's theme for the Space Simulator [his stage in MM8 thrived on simulations and illusions], and use it as Astro's default.
  96.
  97. Same with Tengu Man's theme and Sky Ridge. It's up in the sky, like Tengu's MM8 stage was.
  98.
  99. Besides, then you'd have a reason to mention other RM's in the Field Bios. From Sky Ridge's current on-site Database bio:
  100.
  101. "The Sky Ridge was the first elevated landmass(albeit, metallic), created due to growing sizes of the Earth’s population. Air Man took it over, until Mega Man fought him and took it back, but the platform was too damaged to continue functioning, so it was taken back down. The atmosphere powers up Wind attacks, but being so far from the ground weakens Time and Earth attacks. The Fan Fiends reside here, pushing off trespassers off the Ridge, making them very dangerous opponents. Air Man hires Dust Man to clean up the Ridge, but Dust Man always wants to be paid a higher fee, due to believing he’s not very safe up so far in the air."
  102.
  103. ...the heck? Dust Man? No. Cloud Man or Tengu Man would be a much more sensible fit.
  104.
  105. =====
  106.
  107. #6.5: Orrrrrrrr.....
  108.
  109. An alternate idea to #6; Just as we have a Bonus Field 2, and a Final Destination 2 and 3, Adrian could just simply make a Sky Ridge 2, plug different Mults into it [you could say that this sector of the Field was mysteriously modified by someone to better play to that RM's advantages], and use THAT. Save him some of the reprogramming. :P
  110.
  111. You could make an Arctic Jungle 2 for Freeze Man, or a Space Simulator 2 for Astro Man, or an Atomic Furnace 2 for Sword Man, etc.
  112.
  113. ====
  114.
  115. There. Boom. Done. Tell me what you think [but, be nice].
