  1. As soon as you see the email in your inbox from Tim Ferriss, do the following:
  2. Visit the URL of the podcast.
  3. Here is the URL of the latest podcast:
  4. http://fourhourworkweek.com/2015/10/27/casey-neistat/
  5. _read_ the podcast page. dont start listening to the podcast itself.
  6. Which parts of the podcast will you be interested in?
  7. View
  8. (“Selected links from the episode”)
  9. (“Show Notes”)
  10. Lets say you found this is what you want to hear first:
  11. Tips on developing the ability to be well-spoken [54:40]
  12. Then, this:
  13. If you could put a billboard anywhere and write anything on it, where would it be and what would it say? [1:23:55]
  14. What you want to do now is, dont listen to the podcast as yet!
  15. You are going to file this info:
  16. "http://fourhourworkweek.com/2015/10/27/casey-neistat/
  17. Tips on developing the ability to be well-spoken [54:40]
  18. If you could put a billboard anywhere and write anything on it, where would it be and what would it say? [1:23:55]
  19. Go to gmail.com or your webmail program that has search, and simply email this info to yourself. i.e., copy and paste “You are going to file this info:... what would it say?”. Add tags such as "hear it when I walk in the park with my children". Then "park" "children" will become searchable too! Upon immediate receipt of this email message, archive the message. Now it becomes full-text searchable, not the URL, but only what _you_ want from the URL. Full-text search is often abbreviated in the computer industry by referring to it as “FTS" but it usually refers to indexing the content of the URL in full but that is another topic!
  20.
  21. When you have the time to allocate to listen to podcasts, visit your gmail.com or other email, as usual, then search for “fourhourworkweek.com” and press Enter, this email message you sent to yourself should come up. Click on the URL and skip straight to 54:40 (tips on developing the ability to be well-spoken). Hear the playback for as long as you have time-now, take notes, hear it again, whatever...
  22. When you are finished, simply close the fourhourworkweek.com browser tab.
  23. There could be more to this process, but those are complicated at this stage, until I am done building a personal 1% tool that would also help 99% of people like you and me.
  24. Btw, if content similar to Tim Ferriss podcasts interests you and you are keen to expand knowledge, you may want to subscribe to my personal newsletter: www.tinyletter.com/mohanarun. I have zero subscribers as of now, and it doesnt motivate me to write anything, I know I have good links to offer people like you and me, but zero subscribers and knowing that noone is there to read me or even give me atleast a chance is a put-off. Please subscribe to receive my newsletter, I send out a general purpose newsletter once every week or so, and if you dont like it, simply unsubscribe : -)
  25. Here is the draft email which I will be continually updating before hitting send to subscribers on November 1, 2015:
  26. http://www.mohanarun.com/draftemail1.txt
  27. Currently it has one entry but I have atleast 5 more I will be adding in soon.
