- gameplay LT:
- - fighting a little too stale since you cant get off the ground fast, could be a little more boost to initial liftoff
- - nade mechanics:
- -problem: too spammy due to fire speed and explode on impact, no underhand throw makes it like a last resort kind of gun
- -solution: either lower firing speed or not make them explode on impact + lower dmg, generally underhand throw and no impact explosion would
- make it more of a useable mechanic instead of promoting spamming it
- - splash dmg: too random, known issues like midair in the back slows u down while front midair speeds you up, sometimes splash doesnt seem to impact
- people at all i.e. shooting people off stand, shooting people out of the way
- - bodyblocking: random, also known issue of getting catapulted away when someone rams you randomly
- - flag: -toss feels ok now, could use a little nerf so you cant just toss it from stand still from spawn to spawn (raptor games, minora games)
- -behaviour on ground: make it a little heavier on ground imo since its really bouncy and unpredictable, makes in field pickups near impossible
- and makes gameplay focus basicly only on the stands and the field is 80% useless.
- - maps: -generally need more jagged terrain, especially around the bases and flag stands, makes for better standoffs, llama possibilities
- -stand needs to be big enough to have 2 people stand on it but small enough to get off once you llama the flag
- (kryo problem atm, minora with the new base also a bit)
- -spawns: some maps still only have left and right spawns and a lot of spawns right in the face of incoming cappers, makes game more random
- -dont oversaturate the maps with too much foliage, its sometimes distracting in some important areas of a lot of action
- when theres too much bushes etc around (new minora: looks good but a little more concious placement of the foliage would make it a lot better.
- - performance: -game def runs worse than 3 months ago when i got access, servers feel a lot worse and people jitter a lot more (micro warps) when the
- server performance seems to go down
- -fps drops for a milisecond when changing guns etc, some maps have spots where fps drops
- -weapon change bug
- generally:
- -the less randomness the better the game
- -missing duel/arena mode, lots of ppl cant identify with LT gamplay but can with arena/duel
- -performance issues, network issues, bug issues that exist for long time should be fixed at the same rate as adding new content
- base games need to be tested but that doesnt work with a bunch of half or unfinished game assets in the game, thats the biggest turnoff for
- most people refusing to play base
