ALTERA (Saber)
Attila the Hun, a king who created a great empire. Descended from the Xiongnu, warrior and king of the Hunnic tribes. A prominent 5th-century hero whose wide-ranging conquests spanned from west Asia to Russia, eastern Europe, and Gallia. He is said to have caused the fall of the Eastern and Western Roman Empires.

ARTURIA PENDRAGON (Saber)
The legendary king of Britain, the King of Knights herself.
Arturia is her childhood name, and she was known as King Arther afterh she ascended to the throne.
In an age where chivalry was dying, she restored peace and prosperity to Britain in mere moments. As historical fact, she was male, but in this world, she seems to be a crossdressing woman.

CHEVALIER D'EON (Saber)
Said to be a woman who was a man, or a man who was a woman. A figure of legend from 18-19th century France. Both a soldier and a writer. The Chevalier D'Eon had a prolific career as a spy working for a secret agency that was hunted by great world powers, and was also a minister pluripotentiary and dragoon captain.

GAIUS JULIUS CAESAR (Saber)
One of the greatest heroes of ancient Rome, he earned his fame in the Gallic wars and his campaign into Brittania. He was a skilled military commander. In English, "Caesar" is read with a soft C. Gaius Caesar was a womanizer said to have fathered offspring with feyfolk descended from the goddess Venus.

A mighty warrior hailed in the Nibelunglied. A dragonslayer who felled the wicked dragon Fafnir with the holy sword Balmung. He is taciturn, but deeply emotional. In combat, he always takes to the front and protects his allies.

CU CHULAINN[FSN] (Lancer)
A spearman who dislikes flair and prefers to fight like a wild beast. When he is on the job, he will emotionlessly kill anyone to keep them quiet, but on the other hand, he is quite relaxed when off-duty. An older-brother type person who is good at looking after others.

ROMULUS (Lancer)
The founding hero of Rome, from legends of the establishment of the Roman Empire. Said to have been born to the god of war, Mars, and the beautiful princess Silvia, and raised among wolves, divine creatures. The First King of Rome built an empire at the Mediterranean Sea and built the foundations for Rome, an empire whose glory would last for eternity. A crimson founding deity.

ARASH (Archer)
A hero of legend from ancient Persia. He brought an end to the 60-year war between the Persians and Turkish while serving under King Manuchehr, who was known as the last king of the age of gods in west Asia. This hero is the savior who brought peace and order to both these peoples.

EMIYA (Archer)
As his origin differs from other heroic spirits, he cannot be considered a proper heroic spirit. He is akin to a defense system born by humanity's unconscious collective "will to continue existing." This defense's existence is also known as mankind's deterrent force. In short, he is a faceless avatar of justice who was selected  by the nameless masses.

Emiya info 1: He was created as a bow-wielding knight, but Emiya was a mage rather than an archer during his life. He was a faker who used projection magecraft to replicate many famous and magical blades. That the reason the bow became his primary weapon may not because of his strength as a heroic spirit, but because he ultimately settled upon using sniping as his combat style.

ROBIN HOOD (Archer)
A righteous thief with no face and no name. As he says himself, he is just one among the many who took on the mantle of Robin Hood. His legend mainly comes from a righteous thief who lived in Sherwood Forest. The original Robin Hood rebelled against the tyrant King John Lackland, but he suffered exceesive bloodletting at the hands of a scheming prioress at Kirkless Priory and died.

ALEXANDER (Rider)
The young prince of the Kingdom of Macedonia in the 4th century BC. A genius whose talent was realized by wise men such as Aristotle, and an innocent child who had a sincere love for the epic Iliad. He may be described as a being who turned potential into reality.

BOUDICCA (Rider)
The young warrior queen of 1st-century Britannia. The empire of Rome had deviously invaded her land, culminating with disgrace to her and her daughters. Boudicca, seeking revence, rallied the various kings and incited rebellion, but was eventually defeated and killed by Emperor Nero's army. She would later enter legend as the queen of victory.

EDWARD TEACH (Rider)
Possibly the most famous pirate in the world, the popular concept of a pirate was based upon this scoundrel. He ruled the Carribean sea, intoxicated himself with booze, booty, and bitches, and amassed a massive fortune.

MARIE ANTOINETTE (Rider)
The Hapsburg-born Queen of France. The ephemeral wife of the 18th-century king, Louis XVI, and embodiment of the "rule by aristocracy" in the European world. She lost her life in a changing world, during a chaotic period where the right of monarchy was no longer absolute.

MARTHA (Rider)
A 1st-century saint who tamed the dragon Tarasque. She became a woman of faith after being guided by the words of a messiah she and her siblings had welcomed. Endowed with beauty and dripping with charm, she was perfection. Even fearsome beasts would fall head-over-heels for this holy maiden.

MEDUSA (RIDER)
The youngest of the three gorgon sisters from Greek myth. Originally a local earth goddess, she was driven to a formless island by the schemes of the Olympian gods and fanaticism of mortal men. She is depicted as a snake monster who turns anything she sees into stone.

USHIWAKAMARU (Rider)
This ill-fated commander is so famous that there is no one in Japan who does not know his name. Although he was blessed with talent and charisma, he was abandoned by his brother Yoritomo, and was killed together with his attendant Benkei. Ushiwakamaru is the childhood name of Minamoto no Yoritsune.

CU CHULAINN (Caster)
The hero of the Celtic legends of the Ulster. He was a member of the Knights of the Red Branch, and the greatest soldier of the Ulster. It is said that during the time he trained to wield a demonic spear under the tutelage of Scathach, the master of an otherworldly realm, his mentor also taught him the magic arts of Northern Europe - runic magic.

HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN (Caster)
One of the three great children's authors. There is nobody on Earth who does not know of The Little Mermaid or The Little Match Girl. Born 1805, died 1875 of liver cancer. Although he is now known as one of the three great authors, it is said the first half of his life was rife with setbacks and frustration.

William Shakespeare is undoubtedly the world's most renowned playwright, and actor. His name is a brilliant light in the history of English literature, and he may possibly be the most well-known Englishman of all time.

A genius composer and musician from the 18th century, known the world over. His musical sense was superhuman, and his unwavering talent left behind countless musical pieces. A child loved by the gods. A miraculous genius.

ZHUGE LIANG/EL-MELLOI II (Caster)
Lord El-Melloi II does not originally possess the capability or history to become a servant. However, due to exceedingly special circumstances concerning the current Holy Grail War, he was summoned as a [representative/vessel] of the Chinese heroic spirit Zhuge Liang.

CARMILLA (Assassin)

JING KE (Assassin)

Jing Ke was an assassin who plotted to murder the first emperor of China, and only barely failed his mission. If not for the interference of some external factors, he may have changed the course of Chinese history.

MATA HARI (Assassin)
Mata Hari was a woman spy active in the underworld, and was one of the more odder people in her line of work. A strip dancer, her legs continued to bewitch military officers until the day she was executed as a spy.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Assassin)
Possibly the man whom the monstrous man appearing in the 19th-century novel The Phantom of the Opera was based upon.
Living in the great, labyrinthine waterways beneath the opera hall, he fell in love with a young actress and tutored her to greatness, but his unfulfilled love lead him to commit serial killings.

SASAKI KOJIRO (Assassin)
A man said to be the rival of the famous Japanese swordmaster Miyamoto Musashi. This genius swordsman perfected the Ganryu style at a young age, and was unmatched by any other. However...

STHENO (Assassin)
The eldest of the three Gorgon sisters of Greek myth. She was a goddess born as an "Idol" or "Ideal Woman" to men. Her beauty embodies the concepts of elegance and refinement. She has two younger sisters, Euryale and Medusa.

ASTERIUS (Berserker)
Asterius, the monster(heroic spirit) whose name meant lightning, was rarely referred to by that name. He is known the world over as "the bull of King Minos," the Minotaur.

CALIGULA (Berserker)
A legendary tyrant and the third emperor of the Roman Empire, hailing from the first century. Uncle to Emperor Nero. At first, he was a wise ruler loved by the people, but he earned the affections of the moon and fell into insanity. He ruled his empire through fear during the years leading to his assassination.

DARIUS III(Berserker)
A valorous king of ancient Persia, hailing from the 4th century BC. He is known as the last king of the Achaemenes dynasty, and the "Rival" of the King of Conquerors, Iskandar, whom he faced in combat many times.

ERIK BLOODAXE (Berserker)
A Viking king known for his namesake bloody axe. Some referred to him as "King Bloodaxe".

HERACLES (Berserker)
A load-bearing hero from Greek myth. He was a demigod born to Zeus, king of the Gods, and a mortal woman. This superman persevered through many adventures and the hatred of the Goddess Hera, and overcame them all.

KIYOHIME (Berserker)
I loved him, I loved him, I loved him, he betrayed me, I was sad, I was sad, I was sad I was sad I was sad, I hate him I hate him I hate him hate hate hate hate hate hate hate... so I burned him to death.

SPARTACUS (Berserker)
That man was made of muscle.

TAMAMO CAT (Berserker)
A member of the Tamamo Nine. After Tamamo-no-Mae underwent a millenium of training and attained divinity, she cuts off her other 8 tails when she returns to her one-tailed form. Each of her tails is left a portion of her divinity and becomes a heroic spirit.
Tamamo Cat is an embodiment of Tamamo-no-Mae's (relatively) pure side.

VLAD III (Berserker)
Vlad III was a hero and Romanian king.  He was originally summoned as a Lancer, but is now summoned as a Berserker in the current Holy Grail War. He is an incarnation of calamity who unleashes his vampiric powers without mercy.

MASH KYRIELIGHT[?] (Shielder)
Caldea staffer Mash Kyrielight, possessed by a servant. She is considered a demi-servant.
