Test in the last 24 hours:

There is a large amount of angry messages and aggression going on at current in the Test messageboard. It all started last night when a post went up suggesting that someone fairly high up in the ranks was planning on breaking away and forming their own faction. At the same time further down the thread there was talk of missing ISK and the fact that the two may be related. A few hours after this was posted and visible the post was pulled and all comments deleted. Since then there has been a whole bunch of copy cat posts and other suspect stuff go down.

It starts with this post from a dummy account called "testgrunt1111" which has only been a member of the board for a few hours which means it's probably a mook account from someone who has admin access to the board.
Testgrunt1111: "Currently i feel like Monotolio's personal feelings are getting in the way of what is good for the Greater test alliance. i respect monotolio dearly as a leader and what he has achieved for us, but to me it appears as if he has a eve leadership burnout, please monotolio, take a rest from it, you will always be a great leader to us, but it might be time to let someone else take the test banner for a while."

At the same time reports are cropping up of people being kicked from the corp with HR Director Petrichor11 stating that he "ran a purge of our membership based on having jabber. They didn't have the service created on your account, and had been in for months, so you showed up on the bad list."
While that isn't huge, it does mean that he would have been logged into the system at the same time the "testgrunt1111" account was created. Some commenters seem to put together that connection as well.

Finally a post went up stating that Monotolio's wife has asked him to quit EVE all together and he's trying to go out in a bang with a huge conflict. This propted this rather interesting comment from the man himself:

Shadoo and Mittani had a 2 hour meeting while I was offline. Then Shadoo used his influence to turn as many people against a war as possible. Wasn't really a choice. Shadoo argued that the war would have been hard and stressful - this is entirely true. People seem to think that I was arguing for full blown sovereignty war which isn't really the case. I just want war of some kind. Moons, systems - whatever. I wouldn't plan on grinding CFC sovereignty because we have no reason to do that. If they wanted to grind ours, go for it - comes out in US TZ and we've got plenty of ability to defend and rep if they want to try it.
I play EVE for the gigantic and dramatic conflicts - not for small gang PvP or chill wargames.

Then there was this comment that seems to seal the deal that he is stepping down as CEO
