OTAFA: Average Planetary Invasion

The Past-Era of OTAFA consisted of many planetary invasions using ships, vehicles and soldiers. In this turbullium we are part of a Future-Era of OTAFA.

The scanner in the <i>Octinium</i>-class dreadnought was showing hundreds of rogue Furry planets. They also picked out one Homestucker planet, but they prioritize furry ones first as they are worse. All of these planets had linked communications so whenever we invade a planet, we must block out all communications. They will recognize that it is an OTAFA invasion so we have now changed this to something more advanced. Our small branch of the OTAFA subfleet arrived at a location to gather up. One of our cloaked and modified recon ships jumped to the furry planet to set up a communications hijacker which would intercept all communications coming from the planet. We would then set up our own communication station that would take the data that the computer of the hijacker analyzed from the communications and copied all of the personality and sounds. These would allow the planet to seem normal and undistrubed while the invasion takes place, these stations would stay up until all planets on the scanning list have been purified and taken under OTAFA control. The modified recon ship had a large cargo bay attached to it so it could transport the stations and it's cloak field was the most advanced our current technology could create. Nobody except people in OTAFA know about this communication infesting. Any furry who would hear it would not because we have the immense psychological power of the OTAFA Leader silencing any words of it ever being spoken.

The next part in this is temporarily destabilizing all hyperspace routes to the planet by using a Hyperspace Disruptor, which is also carried on the recon ship. Few of these exist and are only used for taking out large furry planet clusters. The station will be deployed at the same time as the other stations and will make hyperspace travel to this planet impossible for a couple of days and all incoming ships will drop out if they were already traveling there. This is used to stop furry fleets from coming in and attacking. Of course the station will only be activated once the fleet arrives. The actual invasion now begins.

The fleet arrives, 1 <i>Octinium</i>-class dreadnought, 5 <i>Abraxis</i>-class destroyers and countless other ships in the fleet. It should be noted that OTAFA has a very different size rating for ship types. Average destroyers are over 100,000 meters in length and dreadnoughts are over 1 million. The <i>Octinium</i>-class is a popular flagship for many generals seeking to gain higher status in OTAFA. It includes 3000 turbolaser batteries, 1000 flak guns, 100 black hole generators, 500 fighter lasers and 600 hangar bays. There are many other weapons on the ship, but we cannot describe them all. The <i>Abraxis</i>-class destroyers are a new ship that was recently put into production. They have massive firepower and are noted for their incredible shield strength. The <i>Abraxis</i> destroyers have 300 turbolaser batteries, 100 flak guns, 4 fighter lasers and 100 forward cannons. Forward cannons are a new weapon for ships and are seen to revolutionize the way ships are made. These weapons fire at a constant rate and plow through enemy fleets with ease. These destroyers rival even the <i>Octinium</i> in power, as the dreadnought is getting old and outdated. However, it still remains a popular choice because of it's lower cost to produce and many generals have experience commanding them in their younger years. The rest of the fleet is made of frigates, carriers, and supercarriers. OTAFA currently has only 1 supercarrier class in their fleet. It is the V9 Swarm and carries carriers. The ship has little weaponry but deploys carriers that shoot out thousands and millions of fighters and frigates, even smaller carriers like the 87E Microcarrier. The frigates have many different models, too many to count right now. They are the backbone of the fleet and help defeat smaller ships and combine to defeat stronger ones. A notable frigate is the Shield Disruptor, it is basically a modified frigate carrying a Shield Disruptor which disables planetary shields by channeling energy through the rod on it and discharging it to disable the shield. This costs massive amounts of energy so they are usually linked up to giant batteries on frigates. Of course this ship is very far back and well protected, Shield Disruptors are one of the most costly things to make. The fighters consist of countless models, even more than the frigates. They swarm ships and battle other fighters. Some types of fighters are interceptors, bombers and the average fighter that fights other fighters. The last ships are the A62 Troop Carriers. They are coated in a powerful armor plating and are filled with millions of soldiers. They aren't armed at all and only need to reach a maximum speed when entering the atmosphere of planets. They will sometimes burrow into a planet's surface and then dig themselves out with the huge claws folded on them. The troops inside feel nothing as they are cryogenically frozen and unfreeze when it lands. Now the invasion will commence.

The <i>Octinium</i>-class moves in slowly towards the planet, the furries haven't launched a force to attack them. Their battlestations readied their guns but they were destroyed before they could fire. The destroyers and the swarm of countless ships rushed at the planet. The troop carriers sped down faster than anyone could see, and the soldiers burst out and started destroying the cities with their tanks and walker-type vehicles that we could no explain because they are not in the fleet.  The dreadnought and destroyers got into position to bombard the furry cities with turbolaser blasts. The surface of the planet cracked because of the sheer power of the guns. Within hours, the planet was secured and ridden of furries. All of the fur mass was burned up and turned into fuel.
