Personality: naegi's defining trait is his unusual optimism. his friendly, optimistic attitude allows him to get along with just about everyone, having the ability to befriend even the most aggressive or anti-social of people. his optimistic attitude also allows him to keep hope despite how bad the situation he's in may be.
however, at times, naegi is actually shown to be a little insecure of how "normal" he is, compared to the rest of his class. while his classroom is full of ultimates, the only reason naegi got into hopes peak in the first place was because he won a raffle.
