Carebear's Guide to Incursions!

The Carebear's Friendly Tips to Incursions by Ravaun:

Before you even read the rest, if you've undocked- Turn on your tank modules!

1: Always remember, every one is here to have fun, and no one deserved to be spoken down to. We all lose our cool and snap, just make sure to apologize. It's rare that some one truly deserves your Ire.

2:Follow the FC's orders at all times, if you aren't sure what they are, speak up, it's better to ask them to repeat then to hope for the best.

3: -Always- make sure to follow the tag order, and to never engage tag J until it is changed to 0, or the FC gives the go ahead on them. These tags represent the targets that will spawn the next wave. Furthermore, in a TCRC, you will see tags marked -after- you begin firing on the tower, they will be Auga and Schmaels. Until the tower drops, do not fire on them.

4: Some people are plain jerks, you have to learn to ignore them, there is alot of friendly players out there in Incursions, just need to keep talking to them. Don't be afraid to ask questions! It'll help you, and minimize risk to the fleet.

5: If you are hearing impaired, or have difficulty understanding spoken English, please let some one know in fleet. This applies even if you understand English but lack a Mic, at least several people pay attention to fleet chat and do have access to a mic. You don't need a mic to be effective. If you see Me<Ravaun> in fleet and let me know, I'll ensure that you and the FC/LC have a line of communication.

6:If you've been in fleet before and then find your self waiting extended periods of time for another fleet, don't get mad at the FCs. They have to fill specific roles to maintain the fleet and ensure it can survive. It's alright to ask in TVP if you can be put on a waitlist, but there is a very good chance there is none running, and you may have to keep waiting. Very rarely does a new player get scorned for going to another community. We understand, your new, you need to make the ISK to PLEX/get new ships/ETC.

7:Always remember to tip the boosters, they are essential to your survival, they aren't on grid with you, so they survive purely off donations, every one has a different rate, but always try to give some thing! Speaking of donations; people lose ships, it happens, TVP runs purely off donations for all non Logi Vessels. We'll get your loot that dropped and contract it back to you; loot thieves aren't tolerated, by any community. Don't think 'well he broadcasted late' is a reason to not donate. Doesn't matter, give them a site payout. Remember- if you lost your ship; would you want help?

8: Broadcast on time and warp out on time. After you've run for a while, you get a better feel for when to broadcast, but until you have a very solid grasp on this, just broadcast for shields when yellow boxed! This alerts the Logis you need reps! Don't broadcast repeatedly, you only need to broadcast once. If you feel worried, speak up, but don't scream repeatedly. Logis are there for you. Once you aren't being shot at, ALWAYS broadcast IN position.
**Don't Warp out late on a TCRC, it will likely kill some one, you need to warp out when a FC says to, not sooner!**

9:Remember, we're here to have fun, if the game is getting to you, then let the FC know you need a break, they'll ask you to drop fleet, or drop you to the waiting list. People might joke about not giving up, but real life comes first!

10: Comms discpline is very important, every one some times talks a bit over some one, but if you hear CLEAR CLEAR, CHECK CHECK, or BREAK BREAK, you need to stop talking, the only time you don't is when you are taking fire and requesting repairs verbally after a broadcast. When you do this, always preface it with your in game name. IE; 'This is Ravaun, I have full aggro, I need shields NOW.' Just saying 'I need shields!' doesn't help the Logi figure out who it is!
