Just an idea for a Splatoon tournament

Call of Duty league sets have a ban and protect phase where teams can ban/protect 4 things. These things being banned are like attachments or kill streaks. So what if we had a Splatoon tournament where before starting a set, teams go into a ban phase where both teams decide on 4 things to ban. Each team having 4 bans.

Things that could be banned:
Maps
Weapons
Gear specific abilities (Cold Blooded, Last Ditch Effort, etc. Not stuff like Damage Up)

Tournament would most likely have a map list like most currently do but if the list contains a map banned by the teams then they must agree on a new map to play on. So for example if SZ Skatepark is in the map list and it's banned, teams must both agree on a replacement map, the same mode will be played as the mode cannot be banned.

All 4 bans could be used on weapons or maps or abilities or teams could mix it up.

Example:

Team 1 bans: Luna Neo, Krak-On, Moray Towers, Cold Blooded
Team 2 bans: E-Liter Scope, Dynamo, Tentatek, .52 Gal
