After this procedures you can install zip from SD, install rom for locked bootloader and take advantage of every thing you can do with root.
ATTENTION YOU NEED ICE CREAM SANDWICH.

Note: CWM need Root, so first do Root, then CWM

ATTENTION: you must have Usb Debug Active. To active it go to Settings --> Developer options --> Tap on Debug Usb

1) select root in this tool menu
2) type 1 and press enter
3) connect ON Xperia U to PC
4) at the end of a script it say "waiting", so unlock the smartphone.
5) you are on Backup and Restoration app
6) Restore app "RootMe"
7) Xperia will reboot, wait
8) You Will found SuperUser app!

1) Connect Xperia U to the PC with USB.
2) Select CWM tiping 4 in this tool.
3) Wait.

PS. You can open CWM clicking volume down button while there is Sony logo at the Start.
