[18:41] <TenMihara|GM>  We rejoin our party of adventurers at Megamart, after being (albeit somewhat reluctantly) commissioned by Bottlecap to take care of the situation that has arisen at Toll, resulting in problems with one of the Hoof's main trade routes.
[18:43] * Purple_Kay keeps a grin firmly in place as he looks around the group. "Anything else we need? Burning daylight."
[18:43] * Razor is one of the ponies that was more reluctant to agree to the 'job'. The only reason she's really tagging along is to see Batmare fail.
[18:44] * The_Batmare "That is all we need." She humms. "My idea is thusly. We have our long distance fighters provide covering fire as Razor and I sneak up under cover of darkness. Alternatively, we find a boat, float it underneath the bridge, and I teleport people up."

[18:45] * Razor snorts. "I'm not setting one hoof close to that bridge. I'm only there to watch you get shot up!"
[18:46] * The_Batmare looks at Razor, "Oh, I forgot you were a coward as well."
[18:47] * Razor returns the look. "I forgot you were a suicidal moron, but you reminded me pretty quick!"
[18:48] * The_Batmare "You want to join that group, right? The Reapers, or whatever they are called? I think you'll fight right in. From what I've seen you're both only tough when it's easy, but when things get difficult you piss yourself and vanish. I tell you this, if you do not plan on assisting you can stay here. I do not want a /child/ and a coward holding us back."
[18:48] <Proverb> "Uhm, could y-you two stop arguing please?" She looks over at Purple_Kay. "Mister Kay is right, we, we need to ge moving."
[18:49] * Purple_Kay steps between them, looking at Batmare. "From the description, we should be able to take out the machinegun and move in. We won't know for sure if the assault is doable until we set eyes on the bridge itself. If it isn't, we wasted a day."
[18:50] * The_Batmare "it matters not, she will not assist in any fashion due to cowardice. I will not go on this mission and bring along a liability. She will stay here, she will assist, or you will need to compelete this mission without me."
[18:50] * Razor grins. "Sorry freakshow, I wouldn't miss seeing you get filled with bullets for anything."
[18:51] * The_Batmare "Oh shutup coward, your voice no longer has any meaning. At least before you were vile, but at least capable. It seems at harshship your true form shows."
[18:51] <Proverb> "S-Stop arguing! P-please..."
[18:54] * Razor rolls her eyes. "Whatever you say, freakshow. I was never in it for you."
[18:55] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth a moment before speaking. "I'm walking to Toll. I'm going to see if there is a way assault the tower that doesn't involve marching anypony through a killzone. If there is a way, I plan to earn some caps. If it can't be done, I intend to walk away." With that he starts trotting toward the exit."
[18:56] * The_Batmare does not go to follow Purple_Kay, "So long as she chooses to never assist, i cannot do this mission for you. If your coward of a friend learns to fight her own battles instead of hiding, I can assist, but I wont bring a liability into a battle."
[18:57] * Proverb follows after Purple_Kay. "Are, are those two always like that?" She asks the big purple pony.
[18:57] * Jake_Juice hmms... "Let's just get over there first, /then/ think of a plan." he looks at The_Batmare then at Razor, then backs away a bit and sits down, trying to think of something to say to them that'd get them both to go. He looks at Razor "How do yah expect to join the Reapers when yah ain't got the gonads to face odds like this kid?"
[18:58] * The_Batmare shakes her head at Jake_Juice, "I will not go into a dangerous fight with a liability. I am not tupid, she would jepordize us all to see me dead, and I will not fight with her nearby unless she fights also." The batmare walks into the crowd, "When she grows up and learns to stand up for herself, call me. Until then there are other battles to be fought."
[19:00] * Purple_Kay speaks to Proverb as he walks. "They... don't get along. Opposite side of the same coin." He slows as the sounds of arguements and not hooves ring out behind him. He looks between Proverb and the group lagging behind. "It'll sort itself out, or it won't. We'll just have to see."
[19:00] * Razor gives Jake_Juice a look. She says simply, "By not being dead." She then turns to follow Kay.
[19:01] * The_Batmare will not fight near razor, unless razor fights on the same side. She will risk her life for ponies, but she wont bet it on the whims of the insane.
[19:01] * Razor was thinking almost the same thing.
[19:01] * Jake_Juice blinks then calls after The Batmare "Now hold on a second hun', we can work this out." he looks at Razor and smirks "You seriously think this is gona be more challenging than fighting one of the reapers? If you don't think yah can do this, you might as well not even try gettin' inta the reapers."
[19:02] * Proverb nods. "I, I see..." She looks back too.

[19:03] * The_Batmare "I will not discuss this further, she will change her mind or not, but I wont argue with her, or the pony she hides behind. PK should be ashamed of himself for enabling her." She heads off into the crowd to hide and watch from a distance, but she has no plans to speak again unless razor stays back, or decides to fight.
[19:04] * Razor is already walking away. She doesn't give a damn what Freakshow and her fanclub think.

[19:05] * Jake_Juice looks like he's about to say something else, then gives up and sighs before trotting after Purple_Kay and Proverb.

[19:08] * The_Batmare follows the group from a distance, intending to TP out of trouble if they can't complete the mission.

[19:11] <TenMihara|GM>  According to the directions the party was given, Toll is north of Megamart, by the river, and a little bit east. The town is deliberately divided into two halves, one on either ennd of the bridge, for almost exactly the reason of situations like the one that has arisen.

[19:14] * The_Batmare follows the group from stealth.
[19:14] * Purple_Kay scopes out the town from a distance as they approach, looking for the towers. The one on the far shore is their target, but he's curious if there is a similar emplacement on the south side, and if so why it hasn't been used.
[19:16] <TenMihara|GM>  The southern half of toll seems to have become a tent city, with refugees from the northern bank having fled there when they can. The entire town seems to be uneasy, but not entirely frightened. They still had the south bank gate house turret working in their favour, and the thugs that had taken the north bank would have to face it to get across.
[19:17] * Proverb lofts into the air, unslinging her Varmint Rifle.
[19:18] * Purple_Kay talks to himself, but loud enough for the group to hear. "Looks like the south tower is still up... If we can take out the north gunner, their machinegun could provide enough cover for us move..."
[19:18] * The_Batmare looks from her stealthy position under the Bridge to see if there was scaffolding or support structures , or if it was suspension bridge for her to climb to anhigh point without being seen
[19:20] * Razor hangs back, watching. She still thinks it's pretty much suicide.
[19:20] * Purple_Kay "Well, let's talk to the locals, see what they can offer." He heads toward the tent city and the tower.
[19:21] * Jake_Juice looks at Purple_Kay and nods. "Right, might be somethin' about the bridge we don't know about." he trots after Purple_Kay.

[19:28] * The_Batmare continues to stalk after the group so she knows where to be to Evac most efectively
[19:29] * Logic_Gates feels out of place out of his room. Like, he can actually get hit. And die. And other stuff.
[19:29] <TenMihara|GM>  The tent city refugees seem to be looked after by their counterparts on the south bank. The South Side Gatehouse turret is pointed firly at the expanse of the bridge itself so that none of those that have taken over the far side can get across. There are a few corpses on the north half of the bridge that the bandits or raiders or whatever used for target practise.
[19:31] * Purple_Kay looks around, but heads toward the gatehouse. Whoever is in charge is probably there. He strides with purpose through the town.
[19:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The townsfolk look at Purple_Kay and company as they pass through curiously. A couple of armed guards stand ready, but the fact that the group isn't attacking them might mean they're here to solve the problem, rather than cause new ones. A guard is standing in front of the door to the gatehouse, while another is inside. He moves the LMG, visible on a gliding mount, to point at the group
[19:35] * Logic_Gates is incredulous and awkward to the point of not knowing he is as usual.
[19:36] * Purple_Kay looks between the LMG pointed at him and the guard at the door. "Caprice sent us to take in the situation. Who's in charge?"
[19:36] <Purple_Kay> *Bottlecap
[19:38] * Razor eyes the gun that's pointed this way. Yeah, no way she's walking right in front of that.
[19:38] * Jake_Juice trots up besides Purple_Kay "And possibly solve the situation, although that may or may not be possible." he looks down at Logic_Gates "Yah okay kid?"
[19:39] * Proverb lands softly next to PK, eyeing the LMG with wide eyes.
[19:39] * Logic_Gates just looks at Jake_Juice. "I need  a terminal. On legs. Do you have one of those?"
[19:40] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard looks Purple_Kay over; "Bottlecap sent you did she? Caprice was probably trying to get her to speed things up because of that Caravan snafu. We've only got half a dozen guards left, and we're all stuck making sure this side of the town doesn't get lost like the north side. Do you need a sitrep?"
[19:40] * Purple_Kay "Please."
[19:41] * Jake_Juice tilts his head at Logic_Gates "Uh... ah don't think they make em' like that kiddo. Well.. actually they do kinda. They got real fancy ones ponies wear on their forelegs, seen a few of em' before. Other than that..." he shrugs.
[19:46] * Logic_Gates narrowed his eyes at Jake. "Then I need to learn how to bring my terminal room and put that on legs. Hmm." The sad part is that he seemed dead serious.
[19:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard nods to Purple_Kay; "Well, we're still not sure how, since we haven't been able to get back and look into it, but one of ours, a buck named Trigger, was manning the LMG. Somehow the bandits got in and took the turret, fired on the town it's supposed to be protecting, then started, we think, looting once everyone had been run out."
[19:52] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow at Logic_Gates, then just shakes his head and chuckles. "Kids..."

[19:58] * Logic_Gates looked out with a thousand-yard stare in grim determination. Which was funny to see in a nerd pony like LG in a lab coat.
[20:02] * Proverb looks up at the guard. "Have you, uhm, tried sniping them?"
[20:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard looks to Proverb; "We don't have the best in long range gear," he admitted. Judging by what she can see of this gatehouse, it would be a difficult shot anyways; 300+ft with the turret screen and Gatehouse itself as cover.
[20:05] * Proverb nods. "Well, uhm, I, I might be able to make it..." She stares over the bridge towards the other gatehouse.
[20:05] * Purple_Kay smiles. "Benefit of a silenced rig, They aren't sure you're shooting until someone's been hit. Any idea on numbers, or is the machinegun the only real issue?"
[20:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard shrugs; "There could be as little as three and as many as a dozen. We didn't get a good count while we were herding the people over here. The LMG is the big threat, since we can't get back across with it opening up on us, but I can't imagine they got in there in the first place without their own arms."
[20:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard does a double take at Proverb and stares intently at her wings; "A pegasus?"
[20:08] * Razor continues eyeing the guns for a moment, looking back when Proverb mentions she could fly over. "Can they shoot up?" She indicates the guns.
[20:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard frowns and shakes his head; "Actually, nevermind. That shot would be even harder from the air, even if you could get closer, the roof or the angle would screw up the shot."
[20:08] * Purple_Kay "If we knock out thier gunner, can your gun keep them suppressed? It would be nice if we could keep them away from the gun once the first gunner is dead."
[20:10] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard shakes his head again; "Afraid not, at least not very well. Each gun only covers half  the bridge. We set it up that way so that if we lost one, it couldn't be used to take out the other one."
[20:11] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard points out to Purple Kay the edges of this side of the town, which fall within the effective range of the LMG. It's a small town mainly for that reason, or at least, small halves on either side.
[20:11] * Purple_Kay "Makes sense." He sighs, he speaks again half to himself. "... We could always just keep sniping them when they try to man the gun. I mean, they have to man the gun."
[20:12] * Proverb frowns slightly, rustling her wings. "I, I guess I could try and take out the gunner from the ground here. How far is it from here to there?"
[20:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard looks down the bridge from this Gatehouse to the one on the other end of the bridge; "Shooting from one to the other, about 300 feet."
[20:12] * Logic_Gates half-lids his eyes at the guard. "See? This is why it should've been automated. I could've hacked it and we'd have a bunch of dead raiders by now."
[20:13] * Purple_Kay "It's not a bad shot. About 2/3rds the distance of those Radhogs, right Kid?" He smiles. "I'm not worried about the distance."
[20:14] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard raises an eyebrow and looks at Logic_Gates; "And then what happens when some bad guys happen to have a hacker on their side and we can't regain control?"
[20:14] * Jake_Juice smirks and shakes his head "Automated guns aren't as reliable as pony powered ones for exactly that reason kiddo."
[20:15] * Proverb nods, unslinging her rifle. "And if they can't hit us from there, then, then it should be fairly easy."
[20:15] * Purple_Kay "Have they taken any potshots at you fellas? If they don't have a sharpshooter on their side, then we might as well stir the pot."
[20:15] * Razor hmms, then wanders off to find some kind of campfire. There's got to be one /somewhere/.
[20:15] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard looks to Proverb; "You -really- think you can make that shot?"
[20:16] * Purple_Kay "I don't know about Peewee here. But I can."
[20:16] * Proverb nods. "I used to be a sniper..."
[20:17] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard shakes his head; "So far as I can tell, they've just been using the LMG to hold us back on this side while they take everything they can from the north side. They'd have probably gone on their own eventually, but we'd lose out on half the town's posessions, and the caravan traffic in the meantime."
[20:18] * Purple_Kay takes a long look at the other tower, trying to guage just how hard that screen is going to be to shoot around.
[20:18] <TenMihara|GM>  VERY hard
[20:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor finds a group of ponies making a late lunch out of a can of corn and beans over a fire.
[20:21] * Purple_Kay starts running angles in his head, he talks aloud to himself. "Screen's an issue, get it in a crossfire? Split us left and right and when it draws bead on one the other can take a shot... hmmm..."
[20:22] * Razor only gives them a brief warning about how they should back off before she hijacks their fire to make some dubious looking powder.
[20:24] * Proverb looks up at Purple_Kay. "Uhm, Mister Kay, what's the range on your rifles?"
[20:24] <TenMihara|GM>  The ponies don't seem keen on losing much more, and scramble off with their meal.
[20:24] * Logic_Gates folds his legs. "Then I out-hack him. I'm the best terminal hacker in Equestria." He said matter-of-factly.
[20:25] <TenMihara|GM>  The soldier deadpans; "Well, we don't have -you- to work for us, so it looks like we'll have to settle for doing things the old fashioned way."
[20:26] * Jake_Juice rolls his eyes "Whatever yah say kid."
[20:27] * Logic_Gates blunk. "Well, you do have me now." He didn't get the sarcasm.
[20:27] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard facehoofs
[20:27] * Jake_Juice facehoofs.
[20:27] * The_Batmare facehooves from the shadows
[20:27] * Proverb mentally facehoofs.
[20:28] * Purple_Kay grins. "Long enough, what say we send some lead downrange and see what happens." He steps up toward the bulwark and starts to take careful aim.
[20:28] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard shrugs; "So long as you're wasting your own bullets
[20:28] <TenMihara|GM>  ."
[20:28] * Jake_Juice steps back to give Purple_Kay some room.
[20:29] * Razor returns to the group with her new powder safely tucked away.
[20:29] * Proverb nods, waiting to see what happens before she started shooting too.
[20:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor is stopped on her way back to the group by a guard and one of the ponies she bullied away from the fire. The guard doesn't look too impressed; "Can I have a word?" It wasn't really a question.
[20:31] * Razor eyes the guard. She's not happy about being interrupted. "What do you want?"
[20:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay takes his shot, but his guns jam
[20:32] <TenMihara|GM>  As well, the backfire of his twinshot causes the trigger bit to slam into his jaw
[20:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard frowns at Razor; "I know these are hard times right now on account of the guys on the other side of the bridge, but that don't give you a right to go kicking the other ponies around."
[20:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard winces; "Ouch."
[20:34] <TenMihara|GM>  *The Guard at the gathouse winces at Purple_Kay's misfire
[20:34] * Proverb gasps. "Oh, my~. Are, are you alright Mister Kay?"
[20:35] * Jake_Juice winces at Purple_Kay, taking another step back from him.
[20:35] * Razor snorts. "So they /want/ to inhale the shit I'm making to use on the fuckers behind the guns?"
[20:36] * Purple_Kay grabs his face. He growls ferally. His face contorted in a scowl so deep scars on his forehead tear and fresh blood drips down the letters carved sloppily on his forehead. His guns clear the jam as he stands there, seathing.
[20:38] * Proverb steps up next, raising her Varmint rifle and taking aim. "Here goes..." She takes a deep breath, and bites down on the trigger.
[20:43] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard frowns at Razor; "I don't give a shit what your reasons are, or what you're doing. If I hear you're causing -any- other kind of trouble, you won't get a warning." The guard, obviously on edge, takes in Razor's appearance and wanders off to speak wit hhis companions.
[20:45] <TenMihara|GM>  There's a distant yelp as Proverb manages to snag a glancing hit to the pony behind the gun turret. The immediate response is a pair of bursts down the bridge.
[20:45] * Razor turns to the pony that tattled on her. She gives them a "You're dead meat" look before she continues to the group.
[20:46] <TenMihara|GM>  The pony scurries away and sticks close to the guard.
[20:46] <TenMihara|GM>  The flurry of return fire doesn't come close to hitting Proverb, but the bullets dance down the length of the bridge.
[20:47] * Purple_Kay takes several deep breaths, he is really on edge and the sudden failure of his well-maintained guns cracked his calm. "Nice shot, Peewee. Let's keep pouring it on." He starts lining up another shot.
[20:48] * Razor eyes the action as she returns, staying as far back as she can.
[20:48] * Proverb smiles a little, working the bolt and loading in the next round while PK took his shot.
[20:48] * Jake_Juice decides, it'd be a good idea to take cover, so he does so behind the nearest wall.

[20:49] * Purple_Kay 's control yoke responds a bit sluggishly. He takes a moment to make an adjustment.
[20:50] * The_Batmare thinks the bandits should aim above what they're aiming for to compensate for bullet drop
[20:51] <TenMihara|GM>  The bandits would take that advice if they could hear it
[20:51] * Proverb sees PK adjsuting, and sends a pair of shots downrange while he does so.
[20:52] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard by the gatehouse and the one manning the gun inside watch curiously. They didn't look like they were going to waste their own ammunition taking shots like that, but they were curious as to whether or not the group could manage anything.

[20:54] <TenMihara|GM>  A pained yelp sounds from down the range as Proverb again manages to hit her target, even if it's not a kill shot. The LMG gunner opens up another set of bursts in return.
[20:55] * The_Batmare is fairly impressed with the filly's sniping skills.
[21:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's large build, especially next to the small, hard to spot sniper, makes him an inviting target, and he takes three of the return shots. One of them punches deep.
[21:05] * Purple_Kay staggers a half step as the rounds punch throuh his armor, one opening a deep gash in his cheek. If one were looking it might be possible to see his tongue wrap around his saddle's control yoke as  he lines up a shot before moving behind the machinegun's cover.
[21:05] * Proverb yelps as PK is hit. "M-Mister Kay!"
[21:08] * Razor swears, pretty loudly. "Get back from there before they go again!"
[21:08] * Purple_Kay "I'm fine." He spits out a rather large volume of blood.
[21:12] * Proverb lines up 2 more shots, letting them fly towards the pony manning the gun before her gun clicked empty. She ducked down behind cover.
[21:13] * Jake_Juice blinks as they actually manage to land hits on PK. He yells out over the gunfire "Yah're not sposed to get shot Kay! If yah insist on continuin' what you're doin' make sure yah crawl over here so I can fix you up when they hit yah bad enough!"
[21:14] <TenMihara|GM>  The gunner yelps once again after taking a third hit. He might be heard cursing if the party were closer.
[21:20] * The_Batmare sighs and suddenly appears beside PK, "You are injured, I suggest emergency treatment." She puts a hoof on his back, "Please stay calm, you may feel a bit nauseaus." She teleports him over to Jake_Juice
[21:24] * Jake_Juice blinks as Purple_Kay is now beside him as well as The_Batmare. "Knew yah wouldn't leave us completely hun'." he looks over Purple_Kay then gets to work pulling bullets out of him and things.
[21:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay feels nauseous. He does -not- want to travel like that again
[21:26] * The_Batmare "I never once indicated I would."
[21:27] <TenMihara|GM>  There's a lull in the machinegun fire after one more four shot burst is fired at the pegasus sniper diving for cover.
[21:27] * Logic_Gates blink blinks, ducking down as the bullets start flying. He didn't seem worried, but he did seem perturbed.
[21:28] * Razor heads over to where Kay was brought. "You done getting yourself shot yet? Or you want to go back in again?"
[21:30] <TenMihara|GM>  The last burst of fire from the gun scores a lucky hit, punching deep into Proverb's neck just before she can reach the shelter of the Gatehouse
[21:32] * Purple_Kay tries to suck his teeth in irritation, but instead there is a wet whistle through the hole in his cheek.

[21:52] * Jake_Juice takes out one of his bandages and begins to dress her eye wound. "Sorry hun'... couldn't save your eye." when he's done he holds out a hoof to help Proverb to her hooves before looking at The_Batmare. "I'd say that'd be smarter, yeah."
[21:52] * Purple_Kay snorts, dried flecks of blood drift through the air. "So much for them not being able to range to eachother. Seems to range just fine."
[21:53] * The_Batmare says to Purple_Kay, "It's no so much they can aim at this range, but that they put so much into the air that aim means little."
[21:54] * Purple_Kay "Yeah, color me stupid. Shouldn't have expected them to have the same bit-pinching mentality as the folks on this side of the bridge. Ain't their fucking bullets they're spraying."
[21:55] * Razor rolls her eyes. "Now that we're done getting shot..." She takes out the two bags of powder and drops them where everypony can see them.
[21:56] * Proverb puts a hoof gently to the bandages. "My... my eye..." She says, shocked, to say the least.
[21:56] * The_Batmare "This is hardly the intance for drugs Razor." She looks at Proverb, "I am sorry I could not evacuate you in a timelier manner,"
[21:57] * Proverb shakes her head. "N-no, it's, it's not your fault..."
[21:59] * Razor glances at Batmare and snorts indignantly. "If you don't want the help, then you can go off and get yourself shot. I'll just keep this stuff for when we /actually/ need to put somepony to sleep."
[21:59] * Jake_Juice puts a hoof on Proverb's shoulder. "Hey, yah'll be fine."
[21:59] * Razor 's voice is dripping with sarcasm.
[22:01] * Proverb picks up her rifle, reloading it and slinging it over her back. She sniffles. "I, I, I g-guess I'll b-be on m-m-my way n-now..."
[22:01] * The_Batmare "You mistake my motives. Me not wanting you to jepordize the mission to kill me is not the same as me not wanting to help. Now quiet your mouth, smart ponies are talking." She turns back to the group, "If we are to continue this endeavour, I suggest we try to sneak up and commandere the LMG."
[22:02] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard looks to Proverb and sighs; "Shit." he grumbles under his breath and kicks the dirt with a hoof.
[22:03] * Razor turns to Purple_Kay, since Batmare was obviously not interested in listening. "It's simple enough that even Freakshow could use it. Breathe enough powder, you fall asleep."
[22:04] * The_Batmare would listen to Razor if she wasn't such a raging evil stupid bitch all the time. "Where are you going Proverb?"
[22:06] * Purple_Kay "Seems useful, if we can get close. Getting close is the million bit question." He moves over beside her as the Batmare turns to Proverb.
[22:07] * Proverb shurgs. "I, I d-dunno. But, but, but y-you d-don't need m-m-me an-n-nymore, I'm, I'm j-just a one-eyed-sniper." She's crying quietly. "I, I, I, I'm u-u-u-useless."
[22:09] * The_Batmare dawws and goes over to her, "You're not useless at all. You managed to hit the pony multiple times at a great distance."

[22:10] * The_Batmare looks back at Razor, "No, I would never do that. i'm not dumb."

"In the time I've known Razor, she's help cull a herd of Radhogs encroaching on a settlement, gotten robotic parts to repair an auto-doc to help ponies, and charged into a raider headquarters to save an abducted mare. I think she's doing just as much good as I've seen you do."
[22:29] * Jake_Juice clears his throat after Proverb has her outburst. "She's right. Now, we gona stop arguin' bout' morals an' get this shit done or what?"
[22:29] * The_Batmare_ "She's not doing it to help. She's doing it to /kill/. You're a fool if you can't see what she is, and you're a bigger fool if you think dragging her from slaughtering ground to slaughtering ground is going to make her a better pony."

[22:29] * Proverb bristles. "We /need/ to work as a unit, not some ragtag bunch of ponies who want to beat the shit out of each other." She snorts. "I know how effective a cohesive unit can be, and it's damn scary."

[22:30] * Jake_Juice sighs and shakes his head, then jumps as Proverb shouts again.

[22:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard wisely stays back. This, in his eyes, was an internal conflict for a group of freelancers, and not his business to get into if they were fighting amongst themselves. So long as they only attacked each other, be it verbal or with bullets.
[22:33] * Purple_Kay looks to Proverb and back to the Batmare. "You're right. I'm probably an old fool. I think we were agreed that whatever we do, should be done under the cover of darkness. Perhaps we should meet back her at dusk with ideas and... clearer heads."

[22:36] * Razor feigns surprise. "Gasp! The first smart thing she's ever said! It's a fuckin' miracle!"
[22:38] * Proverb stomps a hoof. "If we can't learn to work together, then I'm out." She turns, and starts trotting away.
[22:42] * Purple_Kay moves to follow the young pegasus, she shouldn't be left alone in her condition. "Come on, Kid. Let
[22:42] * Purple_Kay 's get some air."
[22:42] * Jake_Juice just kinda stands there dumbfounded for a moment. He blinks back into reality then holds out a hoof to Proverb "N-now wait a minute hun', yah can't just up and leave like this, I just got done fixin' up your eye an' we've got a job to do... yah can't back out now. Yah don't wanna end the bastard who blew your eye out?"
[22:42] * The_Batmare watches Proverb leave and says nothing, "I will go scout out the area." She vanishes and moves to the river bank to look for alternate methods of approach. Perhaps a boat and a ladder...
[22:43] <TenMihara|GM>  The area of river under the bridge is very rocky and the current is swift, forming a nasty length of rapids. No boat could cross safely, if at all.
[22:44] * Razor glances at Purple_Kay, then picks her powder back up and follows.
[22:44] * Proverb snorts. "Like this group would be capable of doing it even with me. You won't even listen to something that /might/ help us do things better. Until you can, I'm done."
[22:45] * The_Batmare stares at the water, then wonders if they could make a bridge over the rocks
[22:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Such a bridge would likely be unstable, increasing the risk of falling into the river
[22:46] * Jake_Juice sighs, then just kind of... sits there alone seeing as how everyone else just trott off. "Well... fuck."
[22:47] * Proverb trots off into the town a little ways, before breaking into a gallop and skidding into an alleyway, curling up against a wall and crying softly.
[22:50] * The_Batmare hums and looks up at the bridge support beams. Perhaps that would be a better method.
[22:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The support beams could definitely support her weight, she would just have to hope she's really agile, and exceedingly lucky should she slip.
[22:51] * Purple_Kay continues to follow after Proverb, though he doesn't feel like galloping. He tries to keep track of her as she darts off. She shouldn't be left alone and injured.
[22:51] * The_Batmare is really agile, that would be the best method of delivering the sleeping powder. Now what they needed was a signal to indicate it was clear to move forward.
[22:52] * Jake_Juice grumbles and gets up, heading into the town.
[22:52] <TenMihara|GM>  Firing off the LMG could work at a signal, but it would also alert the gang ponies on the other side that either someone was coming at them again, or that they had been ousted.
[22:53] * The_Batmare already thought and decided that was a bad idea. She heads into town to see if she could purchase a flashlight.
[22:54] * Razor stays with Purple_Kay. It was either that, or go Bat hunting.
[22:54] * Jake_Juice looks over at The_Batmare as she comes back into town. "Hey... find anything helpful?"
[22:55] * The_Batmare "I have found a route to deliver the sleeping powder, though it is dangerous and I should go alone. I am searching for a flashlight to signal the attack to begin once the LMG is taken out."
[22:56] <TenMihara|GM>  "Poor little filly. All alone in the world. Why does she cry?" Proverb can hear the sound of a sickly sweet, yet slightly gruff mare's voice. She can also hear the sound of metallic slinking.
[22:56] * Jake_Juice huhs "Alright, let's go see if we can't scrounge one up." he looks around for any possible merchants.
[22:57] * Proverb 's head jerks up. "Wh-who's there!?" She says, sniffling.
[22:57] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard from the gatehouse trots up to Jake_Juice and The_Batmare; "Hey there!" He calls out, trying to reach them
[22:57] * Jake_Juice blinks and looks at the guard "Can we help yah?"
[22:57] * The_Batmare looks back at the Guard, "Yes?"
[22:59] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb sees, although the depth is a bix fuzzy because of her recent cycloptification, a white pony mare with red stripes, wearing segmented metal armour with sharp spines down the back. Her red, poofy tail is wrapped in barbed wire, and there's a crazed glint in her eyes. "Poor little thing. Look at your face? Surely you must be suffering?"
[23:00] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare also has a matchign Helmet and hoof-claws on her armour, and the hilt of what looks like a large knife near her shoulder.
[23:02] * Proverb blinks her one eye. "I, I, I..." She's trembling. "I, I'm f-f-f-fine!"

[23:04] * Proverb scrables to her hooves, backpedaling frantically. "N-no!" She reaches for her rifle.
[23:05] * The_Batmare waves a hoof in front of the guard's eyes, "Hello. You have halted our progression for what reason?"
[23:06] <TenMihara|GM>  The gaurd nods; "Well, I feel bad about your friend taking a hit like that trying to help get the other half of our town back, and was wondering if there was anything you needed that might help this plan of yours."
[23:06] * Razor is pretty stunned. And slightly confused. "What's going on?"
[23:07] * Purple_Kay sees Proverb scrambling and gallops forward, aiming to put himself between her and the unknown pony.
[23:07] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare then back at the guard. Huh. "You uh.... yah got a flashlight?"
[23:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard nods and pull out an old, rigged up one from his barding; "Will thish do?"
[23:08] * The_Batmare "We are planning a more coherent assault, by first having me sneak over and take out the LMG. You could assist me in having some men come with us after I take out the LMG, and as well procuring a flashlight so we can signal when the LMG is taken care of."
[23:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard nods; "Right, and the flashlight will be the signal? I think I can spare a couple guys for that.

[23:08] * Jake_Juice nods at the guard "Yah, that looks like it'll work fine."
[23:09] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage inches closer to Proverb; "Come here little filly, and I'll make the pain go away."
[23:09] * The_Batmare "It should be much safer with the LMG taken out."
[23:09] * Razor feels uneasy about this.
[23:10] * Proverb snaps her rifle up. "St-tay away from m-m-me!" Her Vermint rifle cracks twice, both shots aimed at Rampage's head.
[23:11] * Razor does not like the sound of that. At all. "Are you fucking nuts!?"
[23:12] * Purple_Kay skids a halt as she fires, sweeping up his own control yoke and throwing lead downrange.
[23:12] * Jake_Juice nods at the guard. "If that's everything, we should probably find our companions and fill them in."
[23:12] * The_Batmare hears shooting, "That cannot bode well."
[23:13] * Jake_Juice blinks "No, it usually doesn't."
[23:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage takes the hit to the head and roars, but it seemed to slow her down a bit
[23:13] * Razor doesn't join the others in committing suicide. She takes a few steps back. "You ARE fucking nuts!"
[23:14] * Proverb doesn't know who Rampage is!
[23:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's shots do a lot less than Proverb's, but aiming for the head does seem to be affecting her.
[23:16] * The_Batmare runs towards the sounds of shooting

[23:40] * The_Batmare breaths heavily, "Jake! She requires imediate assistance."
[23:42] * Proverb isn't moving, or responding in any way, just bleeding.
[23:42] * Jake_Juice rushes over, his eyes going wide at the sight of Rampage, he hurries over to Proverb and starts to do what he can.
[23:44] * The_Batmare has no idea who that pony was, only that she was on top of Proverb, "Is she going to be okay?"
[23:44] * Jake_Juice takes out a healing potion and feeds it to Proverb. "She'll be fine... beaten and shaken... but... fine."
[23:45] * Purple_Kay stares at the corpse. Who... why...
[23:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage groans and starts to get back up with her head still twisted nearly backwards. She rears up on her hind legs and uses her forehooves to snap her neck back to where it's supposed to be. She then stops to look at her claws; "Oh no..." She quickly looks around; "Not again."
[23:47] * Jake_Juice pets Proverb's mane reasuringly "Mind tellin' us what happene-" he blinks and just stares at Rampage, his mind completely just,... just... please leave a message after the beep.
[23:47] * Purple_Kay whips his saddle's yoke back into his mouth as draws a bead on her head... again... he's too shocked to fire.
[23:47] * Proverb gasps, her, uhm, eye opening weakly, coughing up some blood on the ground next to her.
[23:47] * The_Batmare hears rampage getting up and turns around slowly, "What are you." Sher lowers herself down and gets into a fighting stance, "I will not allow you to injure this mare further."
[23:48] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage backs away from Proverb's body; "I didn't... tell me I didn't kill her." She looks to The_Batmare pleadingly; "Please!"
[23:49] * Jake_Juice blinks, then clears his throat. "She's... she's fine. At least, she is now that I'm here."
[23:49] * Purple_Kay "She's not dead, not for lack of trying."
[23:49] * The_Batmare is really confused, "She is injured, but will survive according to jake..." Great more crazy pyschopaths. "I knocked you off her... by the way your neck twisted I had thought you dead..."
[23:50] * Razor is pretty damn speechless. She's also very confused as to why they're not dead yet.
[23:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage immediately looks relieved, and pulls out a tin of Mint-als, scarfing down four of them at once. "I thought I was just gonna be doing a simple bandit mopup, then... fuck. I can't even remember. Just like..." She shakes her head and looks to the group; "Did you guys kill me out of it?"

[23:53] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage looks to Razor quizzically; "You a fan or something?" She sighs and looks apologetically at The_Batmare; "I should be thanking you for stopping me from killing her. I... lose control sometime." She shakes her head, then tries to redon a more macho persona. "Anyways, looks like we're here to do the same job."
[23:55] * The_Batmare has never been thanked by the person she killed before and is not sure how to answer, "It appears so."
[23:55] * Razor just stares at Batmare. STARES.
[23:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage nods; "Still, if you guys can kill me... you must be a pretty impressive buncha mercs. Or wahtever you call yourselves. So, got a plan? I was just gonna run across the bridge personally, but for anyone who isn't me, that might not work out so well."
[23:57] * Jake_Juice nudges Proverb's side "Hey, yah think yah can stand?" he offers to help her up.
[23:57] <Proverb> "M-maybe..."
[23:58] * The_Batmare is so very confused, "We were going to wait until night. I was to sneak over, take out the LMG guard with sleeping powder, then signal the attack with a flashlight."
[23:58] * Proverb struggles to her hooves with Jake's help.
[23:58] * Purple_Kay 's mind comes out of it's adrenaline fog. He focuses, he does recognize this mare, or at least the suit. "Well, seeing as you just waylayed our sniper, I'm thinking your plan might still be the best one on the table."
[23:59] * Razor gives Batmare a very suspicious look at that. Since when did she /want/ to use that plan?
[23:59] * Jake_Juice helps Proverb up, letting her lean against him if she needs to. "Yah gona be alright? You need anything, yah let me know." he looks at Rampage, curiously, but doesn't say anything.
[23:59] * The_Batmare had always thought it to be a decent plan, she just caught up in an argument of morality.
[00:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage nods; "Not a bad plan. Plus, if you can buck hard enough to break my neck... you interested in joining the Reapers at all? Technically, since you did kill me, I have to at least extend an invitation to next week's amateur night."
[00:01] * Jake_Juice blinks and stares at Rampage dumbfounded for a moment, then starts chuckling for some reason.
[00:01] * The_Batmare blinks, "No thank you. I appreciate the offer, but it is not something I wish to partake in." She really doesn't trust this crazy rampage pony, but if she is immortal there is little she can do
[00:01] * Proverb mumbles something along the lines of wanting a drink of whiskey, and then stumbles over to pick up her rifle.
[00:02] * Purple_Kay keeps eyeing the suit of armor.
[00:03] * Jake_Juice hesitates for a moment, then pulls out a bottle and hooves it to Proverb. "Here, it's not whiskey... it's better."
[00:03] * Proverb takes the bottle. "What is it?"
[00:05] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage shrugs; "Up to you. I'm pretty much guaranteed my spot for life anyways. You'd probably be better than some of the schmucks we get anyways. We can only take  the best though, and you even got a stage gimmick it seems."
[00:05] * Jake_Juice smirks "My own special brew. Ahh give it to ponies when they're not feelin' well or if ah don't have anymore potions on me."
[00:06] * Purple_Kay looks up to Rampage. "Back to the matter at hoof. I know better than to argue with help from one of the big 5, so what can we do to help you handle this?"
[00:06] * The_Batmare "it is not a gimmick, is it possible to give my spot to Razor?" She points a hoof to the mare.
[00:07] * Proverb nods, and then drinks it.
[00:07] * Razor eyes Batmare, and mutters, "Don't need your fuckin' charity, Freakshow. I'll earn my spot."
[00:07] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage blinks; "Well, no. That's not how it works. You gotta kill a Reaper to be a Reaper. Amateur night is just a screening process. We keep a bunch of the big powers in the Hoof in check, so we need the best."
[00:08] * The_Batmare rolls her eyes. Apparently Razor didn't know to take opportunites when they came either. So an insane murderer, with no survival instints... "As you say then. I am not that familiar with your organisation."
[00:10] <Jake_Juice> The drink is warm, and somewhat bitter, but it hits the spot and has a nice after taste.
[00:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage raises an eyebrow; "You're kidding, right?"
[00:10] * The_Batmare shakes her head, "I am new to the city."
[00:11] * Razor mutters, "She has a brain defect, it's not her fault."
[00:11] <Proverb> "Mmmmm. Now that there is some good stuff."

[00:15] * Proverb smiles. "Thanks." She says. "And, uhm, could you look into getting me an eyepatch too please?"
[00:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage nods; "Well Goddesses help you if you came here, but since you're here now, you might wanna take note."
[00:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage looks to Purple_Kay; "Huh?"
[00:16] * The_Batmare will take mental note with her 9 Int.
[00:16] * Jake_Juice huhs "Of course, you'll need somethin' better than that bandage eventually." he looks at Rampage "Look uh... Miss Rampage was it? We're gettin' paid extra if we get the job done today."
[00:18] * Purple_Kay walks up to her. "I'm sure you want to get your assignment done too. We just want to help, visibly, so we can collect our pay from Bottlecap."

[00:20] * Purple_Kay "I didn't mean to insinuate that, I was just going along with your plan. Ours got a little impaled awhile ago."

[00:21] * The_Batmare "I still think it would be best for me to take out the LMG first. Even if you can't die I imagine it is quite painful."
[00:21] * Razor looks between Rampage, Purple_Kay, and The_Batmare. "Then what's the holdup? Let's get it fuckin' moving!" She takes out the bags of powder again, and tosses them at The_Batmare. "Hold your breath."
[00:22] * The_Batmare snatches the bags and nods, "That is always good advice."
[00:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage laughs at The_Batmare; "You care about someone who you just saw come back from a broken neck get hurt? You are either crazy or the softest bleeding heart I've ever met."
[00:23] * Razor grins. "Got it in one. Finally, somepony gets it..."
[00:23] * Jake_Juice shakes his head, smirking "You could say that..."
[00:24] * The_Batmare tilts her head, "Why can't it be both? Or perhaps while I do not trust you, or like you for what you did, I'd rather not get on your badside."
[00:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage looks to The_Batmare; "If you're gonna be like  that, I suggest you find some place other than the Hoof to do your little hero schtick. This place will shit you out dead faster than you can blink."
[00:24] * Purple_Kay smirks. "I'm all for clever planning, but you tell me what your preference is and that's the way we'll do it. A bit of sneaking with less bullets, or you do you thing and we all have a few drinks quicker."
[00:25] * The_Batmare "Then there is no better place for me than here." She nods at PK, "And yes, the final plan is up to you."
[00:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage smirks; "I like the sound of a few drinks. My neck is still pretty stiff."
[00:28] * Jake_Juice hmms... he could go for a few himself after all this...
[00:28] * Purple_Kay "Well then, let's roll them so we can find some booze and I can brag about how the patches we put on that armor are the ones still intact."
[00:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage shrugs; "I guess I kinda owe you after I tried to kill you. if you want it done quick, you can leave it to me."
[00:29] * The_Batmare could drink within reason, "I think that would be... sufficent payback for nearly killing one of our own. Do you require any assistance at all?"
[00:30] * Proverb has simply been staring at Rampage the whole time, wide eyed.
[00:30] * Purple_Kay smiles. "Well, we do need to find the alcohol in this town before she finishes. And let the guards know our new plan."
[00:31] * TenMihara|GM shrugs; "If you wanna waste your ammo or supplies fine, but I don't need either. As well... it's probably best if I stay away from the filly."
[00:31] <Proverb> "I'm, I'm not a filly..."
[00:31] * The_Batmare nods and vanishes from sight. She heads over the guard she talked to early and informs them of the new plan.
[00:31] * Jake_Juice is still petting Proverb's mane to try and calm her down.
[00:32] <Jake_Juice> or keep her calmed down, either one.
[00:32] * Proverb 's mane is very soft and very pettable.
[00:33] * Purple_Kay looks back to Razor. "Come on, Kid, let's take in the show." He starts trotting back toward the bridge.
[00:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard seems incredulous; "You... Rampage is here? I didn't think this was big enough for the Reapers to send one of theirs for it."
[00:33] * Jake_Juice looks at Proverb before trotting after Purple_Kay and Razor. "Yah gona be alright kiddo?"
[00:33] * The_Batmare "She is here. And apparently it is."
[00:33] * Razor hesitates a moment. "After the guns are off... I'm going in too." She wouldn't miss an opportunity to fight alongside Rampage. She draws her weapon and prepares for combat. She is very serious about this.
[00:34] * Proverb nods, following Jake after a moment. "Y-yeah."
[00:35] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage looks at Razor's weapon, then pulls our her Ripper and revs it.
[00:36] * Purple_Kay cocks an eyebrow. "Seriously? Guess we get front row seats. I guess your on the beer run, Buddy. I'm with ya, Kid."
[00:36] * Jake_Juice smiles at Proverb "Good. Now, ah want yah to stay around at least one of us while this Rampage character is here. Never know if she could snap again."
[00:37] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage looks to The_Batmare; "If you wanna do your sleepy trick before sundown, I suggest getting to it, otherwise I'm just gonna get out and grab the gun."
[00:37] * Proverb nods. "I, I could just stay in the air too..."
[00:37] * The_Batmare nods at Rampage, "I will do that right now, and will flash a flashlight when it is complete. Please do not delay at that time, as unlike you, I am quite killable."
[00:38] * Purple_Kay grabs a pack of noodles while he waits with Rampage and Razor.
[00:39] * Jake_Juice deadpans at Purple_Kay. "Do ah look like yer goddamn slave? Show a lil' respect for the one who keeps yah alive." he looks at Proverb and nods. "Sure thing sweetie, that'd work too."
[00:39] * Razor tenses. She's ready for this. This is a big chance to show what she's made of.
[00:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage nods; "You got it Sunshine."
[00:40] * Proverb takes to the air, unslinging her rifle. "I-I'll do what I can from up here."
[00:41] * The_Batmare vanishes from sight and onto the support beams of the bridge. This could end badly...
[00:41] * Purple_Kay looks back to Jake_Juice as he finishes his noodles. "Sorry, didn't think you were charging in with us. Besides, you know what's the good stuff."
[00:44] * Proverb is ready to dive in case The_Batmare falls.
[00:46] * The_Batmare apparently left her hooves at home because she fails
[00:49] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Nah, was thinkin' bout' just sittin' back and lettin' ya'll do the work while I watch. But, if yah really want me to ah'll go ahead and see what the local brewers've got."
[00:52] * Purple_Kay shakes his head. "Nah, I like having you around for when we get shot up."
[00:54] * Jake_Juice smirks "Ahlright then, ah'll stick behind you guys when yah move in just in case any of yah need immediate medical attention."
[01:01] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare manages to show off her nimble skills as she deftly parkours across the underside of the bridge
[01:02] * The_Batmare makes it across with a few close calls and peaks up top. She tries to sneakly climb onto the bridge and to the LMG hangout
[01:03] * Jake_Juice watches The_Batmare with great interest, until he can't see her anymore because she crouches down and becomes [HIDDEN].
[01:06] * Razor scuffs a hoof at the ground, waiting...
[01:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare makes it up to the booth undetected. She has a clear throw in through the open window of the Gatehouse
[01:08] * The_Batmare chucks the sleeping powder through the window
[01:11] <TenMihara|GM>  The bag burst, filling the Gate house with a billowing cloud of dust. The stallion inside coughs, but then calls out; "Gah, the fuck... is this gas?"
[01:11] * The_Batmare hears this and quickly tosses the second bad in as well
[01:13] <TenMihara|GM>  The door to the gatehouse bursts open and the guard comes out, holding his breath and looking around for the source of the apparent gas attack
[01:13] * The_Batmare tries to sneak attack crit buck him off the bridge!
[01:17] <TenMihara|GM>  There's a satisfying 'AHHHHHHHH!' as the buck goes flying from The_Batmare's massive buck
[01:18] * The_Batmare figures the Aaaaaaaaaah gave the game away and she quickly runs into the gatehouse, locks the door, and shines her flashlight down the bridge like some sort of bat-like symbol. Then she remembers the sleeping powder...
[01:18] * Proverb tracks his descent with her rifle, wincing as he contacted the water. "The MG's down."
[01:19] * Jake_Juice blinks as he sees a buck fly into the river. "Dayumn."
[01:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage lets out a war whoop and runs across the bridge, her ripper making all kinds of noise.
[01:20] * Purple_Kay follows Razor as she joins the charge.
[01:21] <TenMihara|GM>  The bandit bucked into the river lands painfully on the rocks below, presumably breaking his back in the fall, and if that didn't kill him, the rapids or drowning would do the work.
[01:21] * Razor looks up, and takes off at a gallop behind Rampage. This is it! Let's do this!
[01:22] * Proverb takes off after them.
[01:24] <TenMihara|GM>  There is a rather quick and easy subjugation of the bandits after the loss of their defensible position. By the end, seven more or dead and three surrender rather than face Razor and Rampage.
[01:25] * Jake_Juice follows behind the assault, checking over everyone once it's done to see if anyone is wounded or not.
[01:25] * Purple_Kay starts the process of looting the hacked-and-slashed dead.
[01:26] * The_Batmare exits the guard house and walks over to Razor, "Your powder was ineffective."
[01:26] * Proverb stays in the air, away from Rampage.
[01:28] * Jake_Juice , after making sure that everyone is alright, gets to the looting along with Purple_Kay.
[01:28] * Razor goes all out during the fight. She was on a mission to impress. She snorts at The_Batmare's comment. "Then they didn't breathe enough." She says it matter-of-factly.
[01:29] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage wipes the blood off her claws and looks to the three restrained bandits; "What do you wanna do with these schmucks?"
[01:29] * Purple_Kay "Strip them and turn them over to the guards."
[01:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage looks to Razor; "You got the right attitude kid, but you need a schtick that isn't quite so reckless. I can get away with it, but you're asking to get shot."
[01:30] * The_Batmare blinks, "Right." She smirks at what Rampage says to Razor, "So we get a drink, and then return to Bottlecap to inform her of the completion of the job?"
[01:31] * Purple_Kay "Exactly."
[01:32] * Jake_Juice finishes up with loots and nods at The_Batmare. "That's the idea hun'." he smirks.
[01:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage nods; "I gotta go tell Big Daddy we got this mess cleared up. He didn't want our supplies to prep for Amateur night to be late." She had already striped and knocked out the three who surrendered. "Might wanna give some of their shit back to the guards of this place. They lost a couple of their when they lost the Gatehouse before, so some gear might make up for it."
[01:35] * The_Batmare nods, "Yes, it may help them not get taken over again."
[01:35] * Proverb nods, landing tenatively next to PK.
[01:36] * Razor has mixed feelings about what Rampage said to her. But... overall, she's pretty satisfied.
[01:36] * The_Batmare "Although. It is strange..." she goes to check the guard house again because something seemed strange
[01:37] * Jake_Juice blinks, then follows after The_Batmare "Something wrong hun'?"
[01:37] * Purple_Kay looks over to Proverb, "I'm sorry about today."
[01:38] * The_Batmare "Just, strange. When the bandits took over the guard house, i would have expected some sort of struggle. But I see no signs to indicate as such."
[01:38] * Proverb looks up at PK. "It's, it's fine... I'm still alive..."
[01:38] * Jake_Juice "...So... could it've been an inside job?"
[01:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Stripping the raiders of posessions that don't already belong to the half of the town they were looting yields Six sets of leather armour, each at 70% condition, Two Varmint Rifles at 70 and 60% condition, two 10mm Pistols at 80% Condition, a 10mm SMG at 40% condition, 104 Bottle Caps, 34 10mm rounds, 18 5.56mm rounds, two Combat Knives, one dose each of Buck, Dash and Mint-Als
[01:39] * The_Batmare possibly... hmm." She seems to see something in the corner... purple sludge? "Ugh, what is that?"
[01:39] * Purple_Kay hangs his head. "My recklessness cost you your eye, and my temper almost cost you your life..."
[01:40] * Jake_Juice blinks and tilts his head at the sludge "The hell if I know... never seen anythin' like that before."
[01:40] * Razor is definitely determined, though. She will take Rampage's words to heart.
[01:42] * Proverb gives, well, tries to give Purple_Kay a hug. It's kinda hard though, when she's half the size of him. "D-don't blame yourself, please..."
[01:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Rampage shrugs; "Anyways, I gotta bounce." She looks to Razor; "See you on amateur night." She then gallops back across the bridge, her armour slinking along the way.
[01:43] * The_Batmare tries to figure out what that thing could be... maybe a poison?
[01:44] * Purple_Kay cracks a small smile and returns the hug. "I'll tell you what, so we're even, I'll do something for you I've never done for anypony else."
[01:44] * Razor watches Rampage leave. She mutters, "Wouldn't miss it..."
[01:44] * Proverb tilts her head slightly. "What's that?"
[01:44] * Purple_Kay "I'm going to let you choose your own nickname."
[01:45] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare does not recognize the substance as anything she's seen before, but she finds it strange that the blob of the substance, given its consistency, congealed into a lump rather than spreading over the floor.
[01:46] * Jake_Juice "Whatever it is, it don't look healthy that's for sure."
[01:46] * The_Batmare nods and backs off, "Hey." She says to the group, "Anyone have any knowledge of corrosive substances? There is something strange inside the guard house."
[01:47] * Proverb grins. "Really? Well, then, uhm, y-you can use my old one, Wishbone."
[01:47] * Purple_Kay "Wishbone it is."
[01:48] * Jake_Juice looks at the group "It's this really gooey lookin' stuff, a weird purple color."
[01:49] * Proverb beams, looking over at the others.
[01:49] * Razor blinks and looks over, confused. She goes to take a look, from a safe distance.
[01:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor doesn't recognize the substance. Nor does Purple_Kay
[01:54] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb doesn't recognize this particular substance, but by looking at it from a certain angle, she sees that the purple has got a kind of sickly rainbow sheen to it
[01:55] * Proverb frowns. "It's, got, got a rainbow sheen to too... I don't think we should touch it..."
[01:55] * Purple_Kay snorts. "When in doubt, don't go fucking near it."
[01:55] * Purple_Kay turns to leave.

[01:55] * The_Batmare "Yeah... we should tell the guard to clean the place out,"
[01:56] * Jake_Juice nods "Yeah... let's just... not touch that shit."
[01:56] * Proverb follows PK away.
[01:57] <TenMihara|GM>  A pair of guards, including the one from the south gatehouse, is looking through a wagon on which the bandits had piled the belongings of those in the village.
[01:58] * Razor continues to stay away from the substance.
[01:58] <TenMihara|GM>  The substance continues to stay away form Razor
[01:58] * Razor would have been suitably worried if the substance had decided to follow her.
[01:59] * The_Batmare says to the enarest guard, "There is a strange substance in the guard house, I would suggest having a team clean it in a safe manner."
[02:00] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard blinks and turns to The_Batmare; "What do you mean, like... poison? Do you think that's how they got Trigger?"
[02:00] * Jake_Juice nods "yeah.. dunno what that shit is, but it's not healthy lookin' at all."
[02:00] * Purple_Kay wonders if they can make it back to Megamart tonight, or if they are going to need to stay here in Toll.
[02:01] <TenMihara|GM>  It's only early evening. They can get back to Megamart within an hour
[02:02] * The_Batmare "It is certainly possible. Be careful."
[02:03] * Razor finishes getting ready to go. "What are we waiting for? You want those extra caps or not?"
[02:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard nods; "Thanks. We'll take care of it. And thank you for helping us out." He passes The_Batmare a small sack of caps from his own pocket; "This is our way of saying thanks, and my way of paying you back for your friend's eye."
[02:06] * The_Batmare takes the caps, "Oh, thank you. It was no issue. We must be off now, be safe." She goes over to Proverb and delivers the caps to her.
[02:06] <TenMihara|GM>  The little sachel has  120 caps in it
[02:07] * Proverb blinks, taking it and stowing it away. "Th-thanks."
[02:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The Guard nods; "We'll take it from here. You've all been a big help. Nice of Bottle Cap to send someone withint a day."
[02:08] * The_Batmare says to Proverb, "You were gravely injured twice, and I am sorry for it, so I believe you deserve this."
[02:10] * Proverb nods. "Just, trying t-to help." She says quietly.
[02:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Another pair of guards leads the refugees back across the bridge, all of them seemingly grateful for only being displaced so briefly, and to regain most if not all of their posessions.
[02:15] * Jake_Juice trots after The_Batmare, nodding at Proverb. He smirks "So, how about them drinks ladies? I'll pay for the both of yah, ah insist. Unless yah wanna wait til we get back to megamart, don' matter to me none either way."
[02:15] * The_Batmare looks back at Jake_Juice, "oh, well. We should get back to megamart, we are to get a... bonus, no?"
[02:16] * Proverb blushes. "Oh, uhm, yeah, let's, get back first."
[02:16] * Razor already mentioned that. Has also been waiting to go.
[02:17] * Jake_Juice nods "Right then." he trots off, swishing his tail and picking up the rest of the party on his way back towards megamart wherever they are.
[02:17] * Proverb lofts into the air and follows.
[02:17] * Purple_Kay follows the group back t Megamart. He splits the load of sellables with Jake.
[02:17] <TenMihara|GM>  The party makes it back to Megamart inside an hour. The news of Toll's successful liberation follows them
[02:19] * Purple_Kay finds himself glancing at the memory orb unicorn as they pass him on their way to Bottlecap's place to get paid.
[02:19] <TenMihara|GM>  The unicorn waves back at him with a smile. He seems to have polished up the recollector, and repainted his sign to advertise the new service
[02:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap is back in her office, the door open, runnign over some paperwork
[02:20] * The_Batmare returns to the megamart. "Uh. Jake, get my share, I thought I saw trouble and want to check it out..." She vanishes from sight
[02:21] * Jake_Juice blinks "Now hang on h-" he sighs as she disappears.

[02:22] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare obviouslty does not happen across the 'Misc Items' Store that featured the box labeled 'The Big Mac'
[02:22] * Proverb blinks her eye. "She always do that?"
[02:23] * The_Batmare does not happen across that store /at all/. "H-h-ow m-much is that?" She doesn't say while blushing bright red.
[02:23] * Razor eyes the shops. What Rampage told her is playing itself back in her mind... She might have to make a stop after they get payed.
[02:24] * Jake_Juice sighs "Eyah... kinda irritatin'." he smirks "But ah think I know what she might be doin'..." he shakes his head as he heads towards Bottlecap's office.

[02:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap looks up; "That was quicker than I was expecting. Or are you here to tell me I still need to hire someone else?"

[02:25] * Proverb is also totally sitting on PKs back, because cute.
[02:25] * Jake_Juice shakes his head at Bottlecap. "Nope. We're all done."
[02:25] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap nods; "Well, colour me impressed. Now, if I find out you didn't actually do the job, there will be trouble, but we had a deal and I'm a mare of my word."
[02:26] * The_Batmare continues to blush and takes the box hoofing over the caps before vanishing from sight.
[02:26] * Purple_Kay is alright being a perch, it brings back... memories. His hoof comes up unbidden to his breast pocket.
[02:26] * Proverb laughs a little. "H-How do you think I lost my eye?"
[02:26] <TenMihara|GM>  The mare shrugs and puts the caps in her register
[02:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap looks sympathetic; "Ouch. You know how much you need to get a patch or anything?"
[02:27] * Proverb shakes her head. "No."
[02:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap nods and gets out the caps she promised everypony. She slips an extra thirty into Proverb's bag before hoofing it over.
[02:29] * The_Batmare returns to the group after getting her blush mostly under control.
[02:31] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare, a smirk on his face and his tail swishing. "Have fun dishin' out justice hun'?"
[02:31] * The_Batmare blushes and gups, "It was a f-false alarm."
[02:33] * Razor adds her portion of the caps to what she had before. She hopes it's enough to go shopping with.
[02:35] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap smiles at the group; "You done right by me, and I'll send that withheld shipment along to Caprice now along with the message that her helpers fixed the problem. Good thing too; Trade is gonna save the wasteland someday, and it doesn't need to go any slower than it is already."
[02:35] * Jake_Juice takes his caps and pockets them before returning his attention back to The_Batmare. He chuckles "So... false alarm eh? What kinda false alarm? Some kids just causing a frackus or somethin'?"
[02:35] * The_Batmare blushes a little and stares at the floor, "It was nothing important."
[02:36] * Purple_Kay "Probably more of a ruckas. Get that silver tongue of yours ready, Jake. You need to do some wagglin' with it."
[02:39] * Jake_Juice chuckles... then idely brushes against The_Batmare as he heads out of Bottlecap's office. "If you insist hun'." he nods at PK as he trots out with his tail still swishing.
[02:40] * Proverb hops off PK and follows Jake. "Uhm, Mister Jake, could you m-maybe come help me buy a n-new rifle?"
[02:41] * The_Batmare blushes as her eyes are drown past his swishing tale. No, bad batmare. Argh. That Jake Juice. She gulps and follows and keeps her eyes on the floor
[02:42] * Jake_Juice smiles at Proverb "Sure thing hun'."
[02:43] * Razor says to Purple_Kay as they leave, "I want new armor. Better armor. The /best/ armor I can get."
[02:44] * Proverb grins. "I hope he still has it... It's over there." She points at the booth.
[02:46] * Jake_Juice nods at Proverb and trots over to the booth. "Let's do this then."
[02:47] <TenMihara|GM>  The Gun merchant looks up; "You're back pretty soon. Did you manage to rustle up some funds?"
[02:47] * The_Batmare idly looks for hoof weaponry
[02:49] * Proverb nods. "Yeah... how much did you want for that Markspony Carbine again?"
[02:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare can see a wide variety of hoof weaponry, most of it out of her price range. A pair of Powerhooves, a separate pair of Ballistic Buckers, a hoof ripper, and a pair of bladed gauntlets that were apparently made from the claws of a creature called a Hellhound. There are also a pair of more conventional bladed gauntlets, and numerous pairs of brass and spiked Ponyshoes.
[02:50] * The_Batmare oohs... and then looks at the prices
[02:50] * Jake_Juice blinks Markspony carbine... well damn.
[02:51] <TenMihara|GM>  The gun merchant sizes up Jake_Juice, then looks to Proverb and sizes her up.
[02:51] * Proverb isn't very big!
[02:52] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow at the gun merchant. Jake_Juice is normal buck size.
[02:52] * Proverb is also down an eye. :P
[02:52] * The_Batmare sizes the gun merchant up. Even under the costume she looks quite strong.
[02:53] * Razor is busy talking to Purple_Kay about wanting new armor.
[02:54] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant attempts to ignore Jake_Juice and talks to Proverb; "Are you sure you can handle a rifle like this now? Last I saw you still had both your eyes."
[02:54] * Purple_Kay walks around with her, looking at all the different types.
[02:54] * Proverb raises an eyebrow. "I shoot lefty."
[02:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant nods; "Welp, it's your money. Fifteen hundred and it's yours."
[02:58] * Jake_Juice rolls his eyes "Fifteen hundred? Yah can't be serious, this mare just got her eye shot out and yer tryin' to scam her outa her money?"
[02:58] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant argues back; "She clearly needs better protection, and this is a beautiful piece." It is in pristine condition
[03:00] * Purple_Kay keeps out an eye for a workbench he will ba able to use as well as parts for a new saddle
[03:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay sees a home supply stall offing workbenches, chemistry sets and even storage containers and safes that could be set up in ones home. One of the benches is open and on display.
[03:03] * Jake_Juice shakes his head. "A beautiful gun for ah beautiful mare, deserves a much cheaper price. Ain' her fault she got shot in the face, just bad luck. She can defend herself jus' fine with her current gun, but an improvement never hurts."
[03:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The gun merchant mulls that over... "Wait, how come you're speaking on her behalf?"
[03:06] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow "Ah'm a good friend of hers? Why does it matter?"
[03:06] * Purple_Kay looks over to Razor. "I'm going to need to do some serious work here. on a new saddle. Do you mind finding us a place to sleep after you finish armor shopping?"
[03:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant shrugs; "She was alone last time is all." He winks at Proverb.
[03:08] * Proverb blushes slightly.
[03:08] * Razor nods. "Yeah, I'll see what I can do." She heads off to figure out what she wants.
[03:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The gunshop buck nods; "Alright. Thirteen Hundred."
[03:10] * Proverb nods, nudging Jake_Juice slightly and flicking her tail at the Varmint Rifle slung across her back.
[03:10] * The_Batmare "How much for the hoof weaponry?"
[03:11] * Jake_Juice hmms... "Alright, how much could she get for her varmint rifle?"
[03:11] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant The_Batmare is speaking to looks up; "Hm? Oh. A customer. Usually I don't get as many as Shrapnel in his gun shop. Which one in particular?"
[03:12] * The_Batmare "The bladed one, the hood ripper, and the hellhound gauntlet." No way she could afford Power Hoofs or Ballistic Buckers
[03:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant hmms; "I'll take 135 off for the trade in, so still 1165."
[03:15] * Proverb nods, setting her Varmint Rifle on the counter. She looks up at Jake_Juice. "Uhm, I'm still 375 short..."
[03:16] <TenMihara|GM>  "725, 1450 and 1740," Lists off theu narmed Merchant. The_Batmare might want to seek Help from Jake_Juice as well, unless she thinks those are fair prices. She might, given her limited barter knowledge (Skill of 1)
[03:16] * Jake_Juice rubs the back of his head in thought. "Tell yah what, you take off seventy five caps and yah've got yourself a deal."
[03:16] * The_Batmare might think they are good prices, but doesn't really have enough for the better ones. She goes off to find Jake, everyone says he was good at getting discounts
[03:21] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant hmms and haws for a bit; "Alright, deal."
[03:22] * Proverb smiles, and sets out 790 caps next to the Varmint Rifle on the counter.
[03:23] <TenMihara|GM>  The gun merchant looks to Jake_Juice; "You loaning her the differenct then?"
[03:25] * Jake_Juice takes out 300 caps and hooves them to the merchant. "Eyup." he smiles at Proverb, before catching The_Batmare out of the corner of his eye... he shakes his head chuckling. "Enjoy the new gun hun'."
[03:26] * Proverb gives Jake a brief hug. "Thank you~"
[03:27] * Jake_Juice smiles and hugs Proverb back. "No problem."
[03:28] * The_Batmare "I require your asisstance, I am not good at bartering. Somehow when i try the price keeps getting higher. I know we are supposed to get a drink, but I would appreciate the help before hoof."
[03:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb has an awesome new gun.
[03:29] * Proverb squees, quite liteally hopping away with it slung over her back.
[03:30] * Jake_Juice chuckles, smirking and making his way over to The_Batmare. "Alright, alright, you wanting to get somethin' yah can use to hit ponies harder with I assume?"
[03:30] * Proverb wanders off to find an eyepatch next.
[03:32] * Razor shanghai's Jake_Juice when he's done with Batmare. But she does so offscreen.

[03:32] * The_Batmare "That is the general idea. There were a few things I were interested in." She shows Jake Juice the booth and stuff
[03:33] * Proverb wanders over to said booth. "Uhm, excuse me."
[03:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor look up; "Hey th- ouch."
[03:34] * Jake_Juice trots over, remaining /very/ close to The_Batmare as he examines everything. "I see, which one did yah want the most love?"
[03:34] * The_Batmare blushes at the love comment, "The hoof blade, ripper thing, and the hellhound gauntlets."
[03:35] <Proverb> "Uhm, y-yeah. I'm, uh, looking for an eyepatch."
[03:35] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor nods; "I assume this is a recent injury?"
[03:36] * Proverb nods. "Like, 2 hours ago."
[03:37] * Jake_Juice smiles and brushes his tail against The_Batmare's leg as he goes up to talk to the merchant. "Ah'll see what ah can do hun'." he nods to the merchant, "How much for those hoof rippers?"
[03:37] * The_Batmare shudders a little bit at the tail. Evil stallions. That's it. She was becoming a filly fooler.
[03:38] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor winces; "Well, whoever did the patching up did a decent. job. Tell you what. For thirty caps, I'll clean and redress it. After that, you'll wanna keep it bandaged for a day, then put on the eyepatch."
[03:38] * Jake_Juice would cry. Not really, but he'd have a sad.
[03:39] * Proverb nods, digging out 30 caps. "Th-thanks."
[03:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor nods and motions for Proverb to sit down.

[03:59] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor pony removes the blood bandages and brings up a cloth, dabs it with some disinfectant, then looks to Proverb; "This is going to hurt. A lot, but we need to make sure that socket is cleaned properly so it doesn't get infected."

[04:01] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor dabs the disinfectant cloth inside the socket and mops up fresh blood with it, as well as sterilizing the wound. It hurts a LOT
[04:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Like, unimaginably a lot
[04:02] * Proverb blinks her one eye. "..." and then screams.
[04:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor doesn't seem phased, but the rest of the party can probably hear that scream
[04:05] * Jake_Juice blinks as he hears Proverb scream, then looks at the merchant "Hold that thought." he rushes over to her to make sure she's okay... then facehoofs when he sees she is. He trots back over to The_Batmare and the merchant, nodding to the former "She's fine, just got her eyepatch put on is all."
[04:05] * The_Batmare "Painful eyepatch...."
[04:06] * Jake_Juice nods "Yah'd be surprised."
[04:06] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor finshes as mercifully quickly as he can, then gets out some fresh gauze for the wound. "Alright, have whoever patched you up the first time take these off before you go to sleep tomorrow. If the inside has stopped bleeding, he can clean it one more time and put this on." He hands her the eyepatch
[04:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor notes; "If it's still bleeding, have him clean and redress it once more, then wait another 24 hours."
[04:08] * Proverb nods, taking the eyepatch. "Th-thanks Doctor."
[04:10] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctor nods; "No problem. I've treated a lot of missing something or others."
[04:11] * The_Batmare waits for th answer from the merchant
[04:11] * Jake_Juice waits for that too.
[04:13] <TenMihara|GM>  The 10MM Pistol will take off 125 caps
[04:14] * The_Batmare also offered brass and spiked ponyshoes
[04:14] * Jake_Juice argues that the pistol is in mint condition. Because it is.
[04:15] <TenMihara|GM>  The pistol is in Mint Condition, but Jake's barter skills aren't enough to get base price on resale

[04:18] * Jake_Juice shakes his head and rubs his tail against The_Batmare's foreleg again. "Yah ain' gota pay me back love, ah ain't got nothin' to spend my money on anyways at the moment."
[04:18] * Purple_Kay sings to himself as he works.
[04:18] * Jake_Juice gives the merchant 229 caps.
[04:19] * Proverb tells Jake_Juice what The Doctor had told her.
[04:19] <TenMihara|GM>  The merchant nods; "Alright then, they're yours." She takes the offered return goods and forks over the Hellhound Gauntlets

[04:20] * The_Batmare takes the gauntlets and stares in awe at them. She turns to Jake, "Thank you very much, my ability to dispence justice has been doubled, no! Tripled."

[04:22] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Always happy to help love... I hope yah like em'." he looks from Proverb to The_Batmare "Still up for those drinks gals?"
