[17:03]	Kirin	Once upon a time in a fantasy land far, far away....
[17:03]	Kirin	There was many kings, governing many lands.
[17:04]	Kirin	As usual for human nature, there were dispute and war, but those were the thing long in the past
[17:04]	Kirin	as stability has already set in, and people live in a relatively peaceful era.
[17:05]	Kirin	However, the great sage, the man who was never wrong in predicting the future,
[17:05]	Kirin	He came to the king's gathering with dire news;
[17:06]	Kirin	'The terrible evil lord will come!'
[17:07]	Kirin	However, the hero will, too, at the same time. And the great war of good and evil was prophercied to happen.
[17:07]	Kirin	But the exact time was not foreseen.
[17:08]	Kirin	The king of light, concerned greatly with this, created an academy to nurture the fighting force alongside the prophercied hero.
[17:09]	Kirin	Aimed to supply hero with the best companion he can get when the time comes.
[17:10]	Kirin	"...and that is the reason you are all here, from all over the realms; to become the best aid for the hero."
[17:11]	Kirin	The principal finally finishes her welcoming ceremony slash introduction for the new student. It's a new semester and everyone in the academy is here in the great hall.
[17:12]	Doktor_Q	VV's head is making audible whirring noises, with vents open over her 'ears' to release steam.
[17:14]	Blue_	Helyan sits silently in his seat, a serious and determined expression on his face.
[17:14]	Rye_Muffin	Iiwinasm is sprawled into VV's lap, asleep. She'd be resting on her shoulder, but the steam is dangerous! Also, this is a much more...fulfilling spot for her head.
[17:16]	Doktor_Q	VV is in her usual combat outfit, a needlessly complex two-layer affair that remains mostly skin-tight and leaves numerous small gaps for artificial skin to show through. The metal headband attached to her "ears" resembled a knight's visor, and can become just that.
[17:17]	Doktor_Q	Aside from her attire, green hair, coppery metallic irises, the numerous seams between skin plates, and the fact that she's currently expelling steam, she could pass as entirely human!
[17:19]	Owen	A conspicuously out-of-place dragonkin girl with grey skin sits nearby, her right hand reflexively clutching a bulging sidebag as her eyes shift to the left and right. She's dressed in various black leathers and punk attire, and an officer's cap is tipped down to cover her eyes.
[17:20]	Owen	The dragon is clearly uncomfortable with the number of people around her, and the tip of her tail twitches unconsciously.
[17:20]	Blue_	Heylan is dressed properly in the school's uniform, making certain to observe all of the school's rules as closely as he can. His shirt is a bit tight on him. The shirts weren't really meant for someone with shoulders as broad or arms as thick as his.
[17:22]	Rye_Muffin	The girl in the robot's lap, however, apparently pays much less attention to propriety - her uniform is a size smaller than really appropriate, the skirt overshort, and the top missing a button.
[17:23]	Kirin	After the principal, some of the faculty gives a speech too, but was fairly short. The assembly soon over, and a few names has been called. Apparently there's a change in school dorm roster.
[17:23]	Kirin	You are to be gathered in the principal's office soon after.
[20:27] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm yawns, stretching in a way carefully-calculated to draw eyes. The cutouts of her uniform - strictly non-regulation - are shown off to great effect.
[20:27] <Doktor_Q> VV stands up abruptly, a bit like a bed unfolded vertically.
[20:28] <Blue_> Helyan marches straight there, casting a single glance at each person following after him.
[20:29] <Rye_Muffin> Luckily, in order to stretch, Iiwinasm had to sit up already, so she's spared the indignity that is being toppled to the ground.
[20:29] <Boy_Named_Sue> The first one to the office, Mirai is already standing at attention, by the time the next person arrives, barely daring to even breathe in the presence of the principal herself.
[20:29] <Owen> The dragon finds herself among the students called, obviously, along with...  Oh great, it's that sleeping girl from earlier.
[20:30] <Doktor_Q> VV's vents snap shut and receed, and bounces slightly as she walks. So this is school!
[20:31] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm /flows/ gracefully to her feet, casting her lidded gaze around the others who are on their way to the office. Catching sight of the dragon, she grins, and her tongue runs lightly over her upper lip when she isn't looking. Target acquired. She makes her way over to walk by her side.
[20:34] <Owen> The dragon's pace slows, rather preferring to be behind and in clear view of "that girl from before".
[20:36] <Kirin> "Come in."
[20:37] <Kirin> A voice calls out from inside the room. Apparently she knows you are here.
[20:37] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm's pointed ears flick up and down, and she slows as well, her own fairly short frame leaving her face about even with the dragon's breasts.
[20:38] <Doktor_Q> VV does so, standing at attention as she was taught, as her eyes scan the room restlessly.
[20:38] <Blue_> Helyan twists the knob, and enters first.
[20:39] <Owen> The dragon quickly takes a moment to make sure her old school uniform is properly buttoned and tied before entering, so as not to look as sloppy like /some/ people.  She stands in line next to the others, although she could easily stand behind them and see over their heads.
[20:39] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is gripped by the urge to turn around and see who else is coming in, but fights the temptation and remains facing forward, struggling to suppress her fidgeting.
[20:40] <Kirin> Inside is the principal Magisa, sitting in her grandiose desk, seemingly busy with the paperwork.
[20:41] <Owen> The dragon begrudgingly tips her cap back up, her glasses glinting slightly as she readjusts them on her snout.
[20:43] <Doktor_Q> "Who are you?" VV asks brightly, steam vents popping out again.
[20:43] <Blue_> "You wanted to speak with us, principal?" Helyan asks.
[20:44] <Owen> (Amateurs), the dragon thinks to herself.  (WEAK amateurs)
[20:46] <Boy_Named_Sue> Unable to resist anymore, Mirai turns around and shhs the group! They're not supposed to speak unless spoken to!
[20:46] <Kirin> She has platinum blond hair, a fair face that should be too young for her actual age, and a poofy mage hat on her head.
[20:46] <Doktor_Q> The suspense is killing her. VV emits small teakettle noises.
[20:48] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinsm is watching the dragon.
[20:48] <Rye_Muffin> She seems rather relaxed in these surroundings.
[20:48] <Owen> The dragon is watching the principal.  She seems not relaxed in these surroundings.
[20:49] <Rye_Muffin> Seeing the dragon is not paying her much attention, she allows her eyes to slide down, looking her tail over, and her 'tail'.
[20:51] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is silently tearing her hair out of her head at this show of a lack of decorum. In her head. She tries to snap back to attention, but kind of gets stuck between that and wanting to stare disapprovingly at the trainwreck behind her.
[20:51] <Owen> The dragon's tail is thick and supple, adorned with spiky bracelets that don't look like they're for show.  Her "tail" is an enigma that might not even exist; it is shrouded underneath a thick leathery dress.
[20:55] <Kirin> "Sorry for calling you here and I can't even offer you some tea. I'll make it short and brief, ok?"
[20:56] <Kirin> "Due to some restructuring, you will all be in the same dorm this semester."
[20:56] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm perks up, happily. Her ears flick up and down
[20:56] <Rye_Muffin> .
[20:56] <Doktor_Q> With a small snagging noise, VV begins recording the new info, whistle dying down.
[20:57] <Blue_> Helyan nods, waiting for her to continue.
[20:57] <Owen> The dragon clenches her sidebag even harder, and can't help but glance to the side at "that girl".  (Not roommates, not roommates, bitch I will stab you in your sleep)
[20:57] <Kirin> "Some of the people here was transferred from many section, and we just don't have time for a proper assign ment of rooms. Especially V.V."
[20:58] <Kirin> "That wacky professor..." she sighs heavily.
[20:59] <Kirin> "Alright, just for the formality, could you do a quick introduction?"
[20:59] <Doktor_Q> "Oh! You're the principle! Hakase told me about you!" Realization clicks with the 'ding' of an actual bell.
[20:59] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai goes wide-eyed. "W-wait, Miss Principal! But didn't I earn a place on the Dean's List last semester? Dean's List students are supposed to receive their own dorm rooms, aren't they?", she stammers, dreading the prospect of living with these others...!
[20:59] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm glances over at the dragon, catching her eye. She smiles, demurely.
[20:59] <Kirin> Magisa spins in her desk, magicallt fetching books here and there to her workspace.
[20:59] <Kirin> "Yes. Own room, in a big dorm."
[21:00] <Boy_Named_Sue> "Th-that's... but... I..."
[21:00] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai visibly deflates from her gung-ho demeanor earlier, looking defeated and crestfallen.
[21:01] <Blue_> Helyan bows to the principle. "I am Heylan, Paladin of the Order of Light." The new sleeping arrangements don't seem to bother him in the slightest.
[21:01] <Owen> The dragon is not impressed by Iiwinasm's smile, and quickly breaks eye contact to instead take some solace in this other girl who just had the rug pulled out from under her.  Delicious suffering~
[21:02] <Rye_Muffin> As the dragon's gaze turns away, Iiwinasm's smile sharpens. Oh, this will be /fun/~
[21:02] <Doktor_Q> "Oh! Me! Me!" VV holds up her arm, bouncing around impatiently. She has no lack of energy.
[21:04] <Boy_Named_Sue> Not daring to question the principal, Mirai only just barely prevents herself from falling to her knees in despair and tries to put on a brave face despite her despondance. "Y-yes, ma'am...", she dutifully accepts, her lip quivering a bit.
[21:05] <Owen> The dragon clenches her teeth.  (Damn the sun, I can't even introduce myself first?  That bouncy girl's not taking #2 from me then.)  "Alcelstis Jezebella Harcourtinæ, transfer student from Imperial Military Academy.  I trust my papers are in order, Headmistress?"
[21:05] <Doktor_Q> "Meeee!" VV continues waving her arm with sharp, abrupt snaps.
[21:08] <Rye_Muffin> "My name is Illusionary Imposter Who is NOT a Shadowy Mother." Iiwinasm introduces herself, with a smile, that sharpens to show too-many oversharp teeth. "It's traditional." The horned girl excuses.
[21:09] <Rye_Muffin> "YOu can call me Iiwinasm for short. The m is silent."
[21:09] <Kirin> "Drider traditional." Magisa nods.
[21:09] <Boy_Named_Sue> Taking a deep breath, the long, brown-haired girl puffs her chest out to rebuild her confidence and introduces herself. "Mirai Michaelides, Top-Ranked Arcano-Marksman of the Kindred of the Doves!"
[21:11] <Owen> The dragon makes a mental note to not commit mental capacity to remembering that name.
[21:12] <Kirin> After a final run-through of the paper, she answers;
[21:12] <Kirin> "Good. Everything seems to be in order. Head to this position. That will be your new place from now on."
[21:13] <Doktor_Q> "Meeeeee!" VV cries, still waiting for permission to introduce herself.
[21:13] <Kirin> She waves her long staff and a ball of light flies to the map like a firefly and settle on one point.
[21:13] <Kirin> "I already got a spec sheet of you, but sure. Go ahead V.V."
[21:14] <Blue_> Helyan leans over the map to take a good long look, memorizing as much as he can, then nods. "Understood. Is there anything else?"
[21:16] <Doktor_Q> "First version Venus Vanguard series, VV!" She awkwardly salutes. "My grip strength exceeds the durability rating on the skulls of most monster species!" Her open hand snaps into a fist like trap, construction creaking as she puts in force. For some reason, her eyes focus on the dragon as she says this.
[21:18] <Owen> "...MOST, monster species," the dragon responds coldly, smirking.
[21:18] <Rye_Muffin> Meanwhile, it's the horned, winged, elfin girl whose attention is most caught by that statement. Her gaze is evaluating, and....something more.
[21:19] <Doktor_Q> She unlenches her hand finger my finger, and lowers her arm, still smiling, at attention.
[21:20] <Kirin> "Good. Glad to have you all with us. I have high hopes." She smiles a bit. "Now to the dorm. You can also stop by the cafeteria to eat. Take this as an apology for your time."
[21:20] <Kirin> You all have a ticket for one free meal materialize in your hand, signed by principal Magisa.
[21:21] <Kirin> "Heylan, please take care of them."
[21:22] <Blue_> Heylan nods slowly, his serious expression softening slightly. "It will be done."
[21:22] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai still looks as if she's struggling not to break down in a fit of hysterics, staring at the meal ticket in her hand. She winces, then looks over at the motley group next to her. Those are her roommates now. Ugh. Except that Paladin boy. He seems nice enough.
[21:23] <Rye_Muffin> The horned not-an-elf catches Mirai's eye and winks.
[21:24] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai cringes and snubs the not-an-elf, turning away and focusing on something else.
[21:24] <Blue_> Helyan strides out of the room, motioning for the others to follow him.
[21:24] <Boy_Named_Sue> Sighing, Mirai follows the boy, hoping to stick with him.
[21:24] <Owen> The dragon pinches the meal ticket tightly in her fingers, taking the first opportunity she can to get out of the room.
[21:25] <Doktor_Q> VV snaps about and follows, scanning the meal ticket. She bites off the corner, thinking while tasting it.
[21:25] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai ends up trying to walk out of the room at the same time as the dragon girl, and doesn't seem keen on giving her the right-of-way. She tries to hurry through the door first!
[21:27] <Rye_Muffin> "No, no~" Iiwinasm corrects her. "That's like money, you give it to the cafeteria workers and they give you food. "Come with me, I'll show you?" It becomes an invitation, somehow
[21:28] <Owen> Alcelstis HAS the right-of-way, and surreptitiously uses her massive frame and wings to muscle Mirai to the side.
[21:38] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is quicker than Alcelstis expects and while she proves to be no problem to knock away to the side, there ends up being nowhere to knock Mirai aside TO, as the two of them end up wedged side-to-side in the doorway together. "H-hey! What do you think you're doing?!", Mirai cries out, distressed at being sandwiched between the doorframe and the larger girl!

[21:45] <Owen> Alcelstis grabs Mirai's arm and takes a half step back, pulling the human back at the same time, and then repositions the girl off to the side like an owner pulling their dog off the furniture.
[21:45] <Owen> "Wait your turn," she grumbles before existing.
[21:47] <Boy_Named_Sue> Easily (wo)manhandled, Mirai ends up getting ragdolled backward, leaving her off-balance as Alcelstis makes her escape. She fumes as she follows quickly behind, all of her fears about this group quickly coming to fruition.
[21:49] <Rye_Muffin> "Hey, don't mind her, yo-" Iiwinasm falls silent as she hurries off right away. "Well, alright." She shrugs, turning back to VV. "So what o you say?"
[21:51] <Doktor_Q> "Hm?" VV cocks her head, having nibbled off most of the edges of her meal ticket. "This doesn't seem very nutritious."
[21:51] <Blue_> "You pay for a meal with it, not eat it," Helyan explains, glancing over his shoulder as he guides the group towards the cafeteria.
[21:52] <Blue_> He doesn't seem particularly surprised by VV's erratic behavior.
[21:52] <Doktor_Q> "Oh." She lowers the ticket, as she follows.
[21:52] <Rye_Muffin> "I just explained to you." Iiwinasm says.
[21:52] <Boy_Named_Sue> Using her speed, Mirai hurries around the meathead dragon girl and takes up position next to the Paladin, looking a bit more comfort in his presence.
[21:52] <Rye_Muffin> "I literally just said that." She sounds a little beaten-down.
[21:53] <Rye_Muffin> She trails after VV a little disconsolately.
[21:53] <Doktor_Q> VV's steam vents shut. They seem to affect her hearing when they're open.
[21:53] <Owen> "...you guys have to PAY for your rations in this place?" Alcelstis asks, baffled.  She assumed the meal ticket was just an empty courtesy.
[21:55] <Boy_Named_Sue> Looking disheveled after her scuffle with Alcelstis, Mirai tries to tidy herself up, straightening her hair pin and clothes to try to look good as her mind races, trying to think of how best to engage the paladin boy in conversation.
[21:57] <Blue_> The paladin shakes his head. "No, you don't have to pay for food. This is a ticket for a higher-quality meal."
[21:59] <Rye_Muffin> "So, VV," Iiwinasm walks alongside the robot, for now. "What are you, precisely? I don't recognise your features, exactly..." It's a politely-phrased question - as polite as a question like that can be.
[21:59] <Owen> Alcelstis looks at her ticket again and shugs.  "Huh.  Nice.  At my old school some people'd kill for stuff like that."
[22:00] <Doktor_Q> "You attended a school?" VV inquires.
[22:00] <Rye_Muffin> "H-hey."
[22:01] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm is not used to being so totally ignored like this.
[22:02] <Blue_> Helyan gives the dragon girl a strange look, but doesn't pursue further. He suddenly stops, and gestures towards an open doorway. "This is the cafeteria. You can get three meals a day from here." He prattles on about the meal schedules and prices for a short while, trying not to leave anything out.
[22:02] <Owen> Alcelstis blows off VV's question like it wasn't even asked.
[22:03] <Momizi> The cafeteria. It's actually pretty granduose for a scool chow place. High ceiling, marble white pillars, the works.
[22:03] <Doktor_Q> Eventually, VV's steam vents close. She logs the answer as 'potential illiteracy'
[22:04] <Momizi> But the old same thing everywhere is the cafeteria lady. A rather plump lady who yells too loud for her small frame in an apron. She seems to be dragonkin, as the majestic horn on her head tells you.
[22:04] <Boy_Named_Sue> Fidgeting incessantly as she follows Helyan around like a puppy, Mirai seems torn between wanting to strike up a conversation with him and wanting to be polite about allowing him to describe school life details to the... ugh... others.
[22:05] <Momizi> The line is not so long so if you queue up you can get your food in a jiffy.
[22:06] <Rye_Muffin> With a sigh, Iiwinasm moves up a row in the group, and strikes up conversation with Mirai. "Hello~" She greets. "You said your name was Mirai?"
[22:06] <Blue_> "If any of you would like to spend your meal ticket now, feel free. If not, we can continue to the dorm room."
[22:06] <Doktor_Q> VV tugs on Iiwi's sleeve. "What do I get?" She seems to be completely baffled at the choices.
[22:07] <Boy_Named_Sue> Ew, one of them is talking to her. "Yeah, my name is Mirai.", she answers, trying not to make eye contact and hoping that answering its questions will make it go away that much quicker.
[22:08] <Owen> Alcelstis eyes the other members of the group to see who'll split off to the cafeteria.  (Let it be her.  And her too.  Actually, all of them.)
[22:11] <Rye_Muffin> "Oh?" Iiwinasm turns, with a grin, "There are a lot of choices, aren't there?" She says. "What do you like?"
[22:12] <Doktor_Q> She tilts her head, unsure.
[22:13] <Rye_Muffin> "Hmmm~?" Iiwinasm also tilts her head, eyes narrowing slightly, "Not sure?" She asks.
[22:13] <Doktor_Q> "I don't know what any of it is."
[22:14] <Rye_Muffin> "Oh, so then you
[22:15] <Boy_Named_Sue> Stifling the urge to groan in frustration, Mirai ends up looking between Helyan and Il-whateverhernameis and decides to lose her tail before trying to engage the paladin in any meaningful conversation. "Yeah, sure, it's all good.", she says half-assedly and then separates herself from the group, heading in the direction of the bathrooms. "I'll be back in a second!", she lies to Ilwinasm, intending to ignore her entirely and reattach herself to Helyan's hip when she gets back.
[22:15] <Rye_Muffin> 'll just have to try everything!" Iiwinasm says. "Not all at once of course, but I'll help! Here, you get that," She indicates the leftmost option, "I'll get that," She indicates the rightmost, "And we'll share! how does that sound~?"
[22:16] <Doktor_Q> "Ok!" She agrees whole-heartedly.
[22:16] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is already gone by the time Ilwinasm turns around. A flash of long brown hair can just be seen trailing out of the doorway of the nearby bathroom across the way from the dining hall.
[22:19] <Blue_> Heylan steps through the doorway, waiting by the exit for the others to finish ordering and eating. He doesn't seem to be in the mood for a meal. Or, uh, to really socialize. That serious and determined expression of his doesn't seem to ever really go away.
[22:19] <Rye_Muffin> "Great~" Iiwinasm accompanies her over to select the food. Can't move too fast and start more skinship yet, she'll have to get my on the lap-pillow charge she got earlier until she can advance the relationship.
[22:21] <Owen> Seeing all the other annoyances departed, Alcelstis mentions offhand to Heylan, "I'll be headed to the dorm.  Don't wait up for me."
[22:23] <Blue_> "Do you know where it is?" He asks, giving her a glance.
[22:23] <Boy_Named_Sue> Exiting the bathroom after taking the time to spruce herself up and get in front of a mirror to fix her hair, Mirai is excited to see Heylan separated from the others. She hurries over, giving him her charmingest smile.
[22:24] <Owen> "I can read a map, you know, DESPITE what that little homunculus seems to think."
[22:26] <Blue_> "I'm just making certain," he replies to the dragon girl, expression moving to a slight, barely-visible frown. "I suppose I'll see you there." He turns to Mirai, waits a moment for her to speak, then simply asks "Yes?"
[22:31] <Owen> Rolling her eyes at the boy, Alcelstis walks away.  As she passes by Mirai, she gives her a light pat on the shoulder and smiles.  "No hard feelings~"
[22:31] <Boy_Named_Sue> Stopping in her tracks as the paladin actually acknowledges her, Mirai looks starstruck, everything she had carefully planned to say to the boy flying out of her head at that very moment. She stands there with her mouth slightly agape, trying to think of what to say. "Aaa...
[22:34] <Blue_> Helyan tilts his head at her in confusion, waiting for her to speak.
[22:35] <Doktor_Q> VV allows Iiwi to select the food, having no experience with any of it.
[22:35] <Boy_Named_Sue> Looking as if she's about to blow a fuse, Mirai slowly pieces a sentence together. "D-do... you... like... food?", she stammers, immediately regreting her decision.
[22:35] <Doktor_Q> In fact, most of it is indistinguishable to her from the contents of glass lab jars, or the clutter on a desk.
[22:36] <Blue_> Heylan's brow furrows in worry. "...Are you unwell? Your face is flushed."
[22:38] <Boy_Named_Sue> "I-I'm fine! How are you?", she asks, trying desperately to recover from her initial stumble.
[22:39] <Blue_> Helyan frowns again. "...Are you certain?"
[22:41] <Boy_Named_Sue> "Yes! I'm fine! I just... wanted to know if... you'd like to... eat lunch together...? Maybe?", she finally manages to get out, teeth grit and fists clenched in front of her as if she had just sat on a thumb tack.
[22:42] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm picks out a wide variety of food - this girl doesn't know what any of it is, she says? Excellent! Then she'll be happy to try a little of everything. To make her say 'Aaa~' and guide a taste into her mouth... She's looking forward to this meal, yes yes.
[22:44] <Blue_> Heylan shakes his head. "I am not hungry. Moreover, it would be better that I give the meal ticket to someone else in greater need."
[22:45] <Momizi> A group of students in school uniform is eyeing Heylan. The group of girls seems to be a bit fidgety.
[22:45] <Momizi> One of them approaches him.
[22:45] <Momizi> "H... Heylan-sama..."
[22:46] <Doktor_Q> VV tries to discern a pattern to the kinds of things being selected.
[22:46] <Blue_> He glances over at her. Does he recognize her? He's good with names and faces.
[22:46] <Doktor_Q> What makes them different from the shiny metal things they don't put on the plates?
[22:47] <Momizi> She's one of your junior. Mirabilis was her name?
[22:47] <Blue_> "What is it, Mirabilis?" He asks.
[22:47] <Momizi> "H-Here!"
[22:48] <Momizi> She gives you a boxed lunch and quickly runs away.
[22:48] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai looks disappointed, but at the same time, she admires the boy's selflessness. "Oh... okay! Maybe... another time then!", she says, trying to save face.
[22:48] <Momizi> Her friends nearby gives her a silent cheer.
[22:49] <Owen> While the other four students enjoy themselves in the cafeteria, Alcelstis is busy scouting out the doom, looking for her assigned room.  With some searching, she finds it, and promptly ignores it to find the room marked out for Mirai instead.
[22:50] <Blue_> He takes it and looks up to give her a smile. "Ah, thank you Mir-" He cuts himself off as she flees the scene, and sighs, shaking his head with a faint smile.
[22:51] <Rye_Muffin> It's all a variety of things that are easily fed to someone! "Okay, VV~!" Iiwinasm says, comng back with the trays. "Let's find a place to sit together, a little off to the side..."
[22:51] <Boy_Named_Sue> Corner of her smile twitching, Mirai stares at the fleeing Mirabilis, her hand hovering over the caster pistol holstered at her side.
[22:52] <Doktor_Q> VV nods, heading for the wall, ignoring any unoccupied chairs or tables in her way
[22:52] <Momizi> Despite in her rather girly uniform, Mirabilis has a long rifle on her back.
[22:53] <Blue_> Heylan puts the lunch away, gently placing it into his pack. He'll eat it later.
[22:53] <Boy_Named_Sue> Through a feat of herculean restraint, Mirai suppresses the urge to eliminate her romantic competititon and decides to head to the dorm.
[22:55] <Momizi> At the dorm, you found a figure currently lying on the dorm floor.
[22:55] <Owen> Alcelsis finally finds the section of the dorm reserved for the single "suite" rooms.  Finding one empty, she quickly goes inside and locks the door.
[22:55] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm follows along after VV, looking forward to a bit of lovey-dovey time sharing their meals~
[22:56] <Momizi> It has fluffy reddish brown tail, nine of them. The figure looks humanoid, covered with white coat? It currently lying face down.
[22:56] <Doktor_Q> Reaching the far-most table after traveling in a nearly-straight line, VV sits down, back straight, just like she was at the entrance ceremony.
[22:59] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm slides in next to her, setting their meals on the table in front of them. "My, my~" She laughs, softly. "Relax a bit, it's okay."
[23:00] <Doktor_Q> VV's vents pop open, then close again. "Pardon?"
[23:01] <Rye_Muffin> "Relax a bit." She says, indicating VV's stiff posture. "You're too stiff~" It's said good-naturedly, no hint of judgement.
[23:02] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai stares at the thing in the middle of the dorm. "Uhh... excuse me? What are you going in here?"
[23:03] <Blue_> Heylan goes back to silently waiting by the door for VV and Iiwinasm to finish.
[23:03] <Doktor_Q> "My body is primarily mineralized clay/steel compounds." She replies, managing to pronounce the /
[23:04] <Momizi> "Uuuuugh...." it groans.
[23:05] <Owen> Alcelstis is honestly taken aback by what she sees.  A decently-sized feather bed, clothes dresser, writing desk, a small empty bookshelf, and a study chair.  Even a small closet.  Compared to what she had back at her old school, even for a top student like herself, this room is luxurious.
[23:06] <Momizi> On closer inspection, you see a needle behind her neck.
[23:06] <Rye_Muffin> "Posture, I meant." Iiwinasm doesn't bat an eye at the information. "Here, let me show you...?" She makes it a question, as her hand pause, just out of reach of taking a slight hands-on approach to postural demonstration.
[23:06] <Boy_Named_Sue> Reaching down, Mirai removes the needle, wondering what the hell happened. "Hey, are you okay?"
[23:07] <Doktor_Q> VV stares at her for a beat, pupils constricting and widening. Then she nods. Click-click, two stops in the motion.
[23:08] <Momizi> "Gack!"
[23:08] <Momizi> The figure sits back up. "Dammit, that girl...!"
[23:09] <Rye_Muffin> And Iiwinasm does do, one hand running down VV's spine as she explains - demonstrates, more, how to sit in a more relaxed way. One hand on her flat belly, as well - her hands are pretty nearly everywhere they can be justified as being, as she shows VV how to sit.
[23:10] <Owen> Alcelstis takes a moment to actually let the reality of fact that she is HERE sink in, as this has really been the first time she's had legitimate time to herself for several days.
[23:10] <Momizi> She's rather short, and obviously an animakind. Her fox-like ears wiggles in frustration and her eyes are hidden behind the big glasses. She wears a tube top and a short skirt, but covered entirely in lab coat. Her nine tails looks extremely fluffy.
[23:10] <Momizi> "Thanks. That was careless of me..."
[23:10] <Doktor_Q> There's small clicks and mechanical strains as she tries to adjust in full stops. The skin-seams make slight indentations, just enough to run a fingernail across, but tight enough not to fit it into.
[23:11] <Boy_Named_Sue> "What do you mean careless? What happened?", Mirai asks, legitimately concerned about what seems like someone who got attacked in their own dorm.
[23:14] <Momizi> "Ah, I was---"
[23:15] <Momizi> "----being a peeping tom, was it? Professor?"
[23:15] <Owen> The dragonkin girl takes a moment to sit down on the bed.  So soft...  so, so /comfortable/...
[23:15] <Momizi> Another voice comes from above.
[23:17] <Rye_Muffin> "Move more smoothly, smoothly, now." Iiwinasm coaches, hands running over the lovely, fine skin of the whatever-she-is.
[23:18] <Momizi> A lady in apron and bamboo broom descends. She was on the ceiling for some times.
[23:18] <Doktor_Q> There's a whole bunch of empty sockets and plugs between her shoulder blades, surrounded by weird lettering. She continues attempting to take correct posture.
[23:19] <Momizi> She wore a tee and a yellow aprin with chick print, a sandal, and a long wooden bamboo broom. She has fair skin, long jet black hair, and eyes that seems to always be closed.
[23:20] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm's fingers delicately trace out these sockets and plugs, exploring them gently and curiously. "So, what, precisely, are you?" She asks, an echo of her earlier question. "I don't recognise your features, exactly..."
[23:20] <Momizi> "She was setting up surveillance gadget in the dorm, so I have her stay still for a bit♡"
[23:21] <Doktor_Q> "I am the first complete model of the Venus Vanguard series, VV." She reiterates from before.
[23:21] <Blue_> "She is a golem construct," Helyan answers Iiwinasm from the doorway.
[23:23] <Rye_Muffin> She smiles over at Heylan, eying his form briefly before returning her gaze to VV. "And what are the Venus Vaguard series?" She continues the line of thought, "Golems, like the hunk over there says~?"
[23:23] <Owen> Alcelstis finally unzips her coat and unlaces some of her suffocating dress ties, flopping down on the bed.  Just for a minute!  If anyone were to see her enjoying something as mundane as a BED...!
[23:24] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai doesn't seem to know what to think about the situation. "Uhhh, I hope I didn't do anything wrong...?", she asks the broom-mounted woman, wondering whether to stick the needle back in the foxgirl's neck.
[23:25] <Momizi> "I'll be right with you in a minute----"
[23:25] <Doktor_Q> "I am an integrated golem-homunculus enhance hybrid form... I think," she frowns at the end, head clicking a few times as she shuffles through her meager memories
[23:25] <Momizi> She appears a blur, and vanish
[23:25] <Momizi> Owen: a knock on your door
[23:26] <Owen> Alcelstis grinds her teeth.  This is what she gets.  She lowers her guard for ONE SECOND.  Even in the Kingdom of Light...
[23:27] <Owen> Sitting back up, she as least zips her coat back up--no time to fix her dress--and answers the door.
[23:28] <Rye_Muffin> "Ooooh~"
[23:29] <Momizi> A person who seems to be the dorm personnel greets you.
[23:29] <Momizi> "Hi~♡ please make sure to write your name on the doorplate to claims ownership~"
[23:30] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai, meanwhile, is left fidgeting in the entrance hall of the dorm, waiting for the witch to return.
[23:31] <Owen> "Oh, is that how it works?  I will do that.  Are you the dorm head?"
[23:32] <Momizi> "Yes I am. Just call me Miss Dorm Manager, Kanrinin-san, or miss K. For short."
[23:34] <Doktor_Q> "Ah." Finding the memory she was looking for, she clears her throat(?): "'A masterpiece of science to mate combat ability and sensual form' ...she said."
[23:34] <Momizi> "See you downstairs~☆"
[23:34] <Owen> "I will do so, Madam Kanrinin."
[23:34] <Momizi> And she disappears from your eyes only to appears before Mirai.
[23:35] <Momizi> "You can go choose your room now. If you have luggages, I'll bring them to your room."
[23:35] <Momizi> "Run along now~"
[23:35] <Rye_Muffin> "Sensual form, you say...?" Iiwinasm smiles. "My, my, my."
[23:35] <Boy_Named_Sue> "Just my belongings that need to be moved from my old room to this one."
[23:36] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai nods, and thanks her before heading upstairs to find her own room.
[23:37] <Owen> Alcelstis wastes no time in writing her name on the nearby nameplate.  She'll have to redo the calligraphy later when she has more time, but it'll serve for now.
[23:40] <Momizi> Two wings separated  one side is bigger than the others and is labeled female side.
[23:40] <Momizi> You also see alcy doing the writing
[23:41] <Boy_Named_Sue> Seeing that Alcelstis took one of the single-bed rooms, Mirai seeks out another, free one.
[23:45] <Rye_Muffin> Repost: "Ooooh~" Iiwinasm is interested. "I see! That's quite something~" She finally seems satisfied with the way VV is sitting, and, one hand falling naturally to rest on VV's leg, she turns towards the food. "Well, shall we eat? Before it gets too cold~"
[23:46] <Doktor_Q> VV nods, staring at Iiwi and the food. She can't distinguish the correct way to pick up a liquid, or which pieces are the actual food. yet.
[23:49] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm, noticing her look, spoons some up. "Say Aaa~" She prompts, holding up the spoon.
[23:50] <Doktor_Q> VV opens her mouth, then bites down, taking the head off the spoon, chewing it along with the soup.
[23:51] <Doktor_Q> "High in mineral," She decides, after swallowing
[23:54] <Rye_Muffin> "...Ah." Iiwinasm comments, eying the truncated spoon. "This, time, leave the head of the spoon, okay~? It's not part of the meal." She advises, picking up the spoon that was supposed to have been for VV. "At least save it for dessert."
[23:54] <Doktor_Q> "I see..." the vents pop out again.
[00:03] <Doktor_Q> And thus, VV finishes her first meal outside the lab, and there's only 1.5 silverwear casualties!
[00:04] <Blue_> "You should head to your dorms," Helyan tells the two.
[00:05] <Doktor_Q> "OK!" VV nods, and awaits further details.
[00:05] <Rye_Muffin> Bemused, as she cleans up, Iiwinasm offers the ....offers VV the other half of the original truncated spoon. "Would you like the rest of this?" She asks.
[00:05] <Doktor_Q> "It isn't food is it?" She asks, checking her recent education.
[00:09] <Blue_> Helyan heads out the doorway, motioning for the two to follow him.
[00:10] <Rye_Muffin> "Not exactly, but you alredy ate half of it, and you don't seem to mind the taste." She shrugs, pocketing the shortened utensil. "Maybe later." She proposes, as she grips VV's hand. "But for now, let's not let muscles get away, alright?" She leads her after Helyan.
[00:11] <Doktor_Q> "Muscles generally remain attached...?" She wonders aloud.
[00:14] <Blue_> Helyan makes a beeline for the dormitory building that the five of them are staying at. He points out the female wing, and the male wing. "I trust you can find your own rooms?"
[00:14] <Boy_Named_Sue> Coming back after five minutes of looking for another, unoccupied single room, Mirai stands in front of the door of the room Alcelstis picked. She knocks. Loudly.
[00:14] <Doktor_Q> VV Stares blankly, then glances at Iiwi for some kind of acknowledgment.
[00:15] <Owen> Alcelstis grits her teeth again.  Splayed out on her writing desk are stacks of gold coins she's been counting, making sure they're all there.
[00:15] <Rye_Muffin> "Sure!" Iiwinasm chirps. "We can find a room, no problem!"
[00:17] <Owen> She gives up on her current count, scoops them all back into her sidebag, and goes to answer the door.
[00:17] <Blue_> Helyan gives Iiwinasm a strange look, but doesn't press the issue. "Very well, then." He heads towards his dorm room.
[00:17] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai has already drawn one of her Caster pistols and as soon as Alcelstis opens the door, the dragon girl finds herself staring down its barrel. "Get out. Of my. Room."
[00:18] <Owen> The dragon is hardly intimidated, and thumbs over at the sign next to the door.
[00:19] <Owen> "This is my room.  Madam Kanrinin said I should write my name on it."
[00:20] <Owen> "No hard feelings~"
[00:20] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm pulls VV along, to find a nice empty room for the two of them to.. share.
[00:20] <Boy_Named_Sue> Unamused, Mirai averts her aim slightly and fires a shot from the caster, firing a needle-like laser, no more than 3 inches long, at the coins piled on the desk. It hits one, flipping it up into the air from the force of the shot, followed by three more shots that burn three equal holes in the coin as it flips in the air before it lands back on the pile, spilling the coins into a pile on the desk.
[00:21] <Doktor_Q> VV allows herself to be dragged. People are just as helpful as she was told!
[00:22] <Blue_> If nothing unusual happens, Helyan heads to his room, and begins unpacking!
[00:23] <Owen> Alcelstis grabs the barrel of the gun before the other girl can fully re-aim it at her head.  She is NOT amused.
[00:23] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm settles for the first empty room she finds, pausing just inside with VV. "Well, looks like we get to be roommates~!" She says, as though she did't just decide that all on her own.
[00:24] <Doktor_Q> "I see!" VV replies.
[00:24] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai immediately reacts by drawing her second Caster, levelling this one at Alcelstis' head too. "Let go of my gun. And get out of my room.", she says with an ice-cold stare at the dragon woman.
[00:27] <Owen> Alcelstis straightens herself up to her full height, well over Mirai's head, and puts her free hand in her jacket pocket.  Mirai feels someone tapping her on the shoulder.
[00:28] <Owen> "Oh, Madam Kanrinin.  Is there a problem?"
[00:29] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai hates Alcelstis so much. It-it, the feeling... fl-flame, flames. Flames. Flames. Flames. On the side of her face. Breathing. Breath- heaving breaths...
[00:38] <Moomin> "No fighting in the dorm~"
[00:38] <Moomin> "Or THAT will happen."
[00:39] <Moomin> She points her thumb outside the window, where the foxgirl earlier was hanged outside, tied in weird shibari fashion.
[00:39] <Moomin> "Getting rowdy is fine, but hurting each other is a no-no, okay?"
[00:39] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai freezes in place upon realizing that Alcelstis isn't bluffing and she immediately hides her Casters behind her back, trying to play innocent. "M-Miss Kanrinin! Hello! I was just asking Alcelstis here to please vacate my room!", she explains with a cheerful smile on her face. Surely the dorm manager will settle this!
[00:40] <Moomin> "My, but this dorm is a first-come first-serve basis... I'm sure we can work something out?"
[00:41] <Moomin> "Oh! How about a duel?"
[00:41] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai nearly chokes. "Fi-First-come... but I'm on the Dean's List! Dean's List students are supposed to get single-rooms! The Principal even promised me-!", she protests...
[00:42] <Moomin> She say thay blatantly.
[00:42] <Moomin> "If two unbending will collides, a duel will occur. It was always like this since the beginning of time."
[00:43] <Owen> Alcelstis can't accept that twice in her presence.  "As difficult as it may be for you to understand, I was on the Dean's List at my old school TOO.  Check with the Headmistress; she has my records."
[00:44] <Boy_Named_Sue> "Your old school. I'm on the Dean's List at this school.", Mirai says coldly, not even bothering to turn to face Alcelstis.
[00:44] <Moomin> "Shut up." She says, still smiling. "You two will duel."
[00:44] <Blue_> Heylan, meanwhile, is setting up his exercise and training gear in his room. Nothing like a workout to kill some time!
[00:44] <Owen> "Bitch you couldn't even make a PASSING grade at my school!"
[00:45] <Moomin> "Everyone~ please gather in the common room now~♡"
[00:46] <Moomin> Everyone in the dorm magically heard that, including the hanged professor.
[00:46] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai literally shoves one of her Casters into Alcel's face, still not looking towards her. "Okay. A duel then.", she says with an almost unsettling serenity in her voice.
[00:47] <Rye_Muffin> "Hm?" Iiwinasm looks around. "Guess we should head over, then?"
[00:47] <Owen> Alcelstis brushes the pistol away like it's a fly.  "Get that weak shit out of my face, thank you kindly~"
[00:48] <Doktor_Q> VV follows the magical authoritative voice without heasitation
[00:48] <Owen> The dragon has played this game before.  If Mirai meant it, she'd have shot her already.
[00:49] <Moomin> And now that everyone is assembled in the common room,
[00:49] <Blue_> Helyan sighs, puts his shirt back on, and heads towards the common room.
[00:50] <Moomin> "This two will fight over the ownership of the single female room, so we get to decide how they duel. I expect an exciting and creative choice~♡"
[00:51] <Moomin> At one point, the 'duel using eel' was nominated by a certain peppy golem.
[00:51] <Blue_> Helyan proposes wooden training weapons! To harden and hone the mind, body, and spirit. Creativity isn't his strong suit.
[00:51] <Rye_Muffin> "They should wrestle for it." Iiwinasm suggests. "But since there's such a physical disparity, there should be some kind of handicap element..." She pretends to think. "Something slick, liiike..Jell-o! Or oil!"
[00:51] <Owen> Alcelstis looks around the common room.  A duel with an audience day one?  Better than she could have even hoped for~
[00:51] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is staring across the room at Alcelstis with a steel-like gaze. Except when she hears the thing about the eel. "...wait, what?"
[00:53] <Moomin> Dorm manager thinks hard, and after a long while she speaks up;
[00:53] <Moomin> "Since there's no consensus, i have to mix it all up."
[00:53] <Moomin> "Jello wrestling with eel as a sword" it is!"
[00:54] <Moomin> "Using deathmatch rule. The game stops when one party yield or unable to move!"
[00:54] <Moomin> She seems proud of herself.
[00:55] <Owen> Alcelstis folds her hands beneath her breasts and smiles, nodding.
[00:55] <Owen> "Understood."
[00:56] <Boy_Named_Sue> All the color drains from Mirai's face as a blank stare overcomes her, glaring at the obviously insane dorm manager. She doesn't even give the attendants the chance to start filling the kiddy pool before she just turns her back on the entire kangaroo-esque proceeding and heads to the last available room. "I concede."
[00:56] <Rye_Muffin> Iiwinasm applauds the dorm-manager's good taste and judgement.
[00:56] <Moomin> The dorm manager looks visibly down!
[00:57] <Owen> Alcelsis raises an eyebrow.  Now THAT'S unexpected.
[00:59] <Moomin> (Well that's their first encounter! How would their relationship unfold as we wait for the next week's episode? Until then!)
