When a wretched ghost gifts
its heart to a swan
inside the petty one
soul in shackles shifts.

When the spirit's pain
is incarnated
it lingers painted
on walls of its bane.

When the horror shines
as bright as red dwarfs
as bright as Davy Jones'
locker, quite far away,
the ghost slowly dies
and the swan flies away.
