  1. Welcome to Beginners for Direct Manipulation. This article will cover proper maintenance of the energetic system, and how to fix any problems encountered while using the Direct Manipulation paradigm of the path.
  2.
  3. We will focus on the implementation of the material we covered in Intro to Direct Manipulation.
  4.
  5. As a quick follow up, the path previously covered the basic structure of the energetic system and its components, and this article will cover how to use the energetic system to move energy, and how to use the knowledge of the energetic system to fix issues.
  6.
  7. The first thing we will start with is Meditation, which is a key component to learning to feel energy.
  8.
  9. For this application, this meditation will focus on pulling energy from the 7 main chakras. While in your meditative state, focus on the chakras and feel them on your body, which for some feels like weights or a “tingling” sensation, and will a small amount of energy to move to a designated location in your body. For this exercise, it is recommended to move energy into the gut below the sternum and hold it there, as this is a sensitive energy location that can quickly build energy.
  10.
  11. With this complete, move the small amount of energy around the body, the practitioner should take notice where some places it moves more easily and quickly than others, which are typically the meridian lines. When moving the energy the practitioner might also notice it grow in size over some locations, these are where the minor chakras are on the body.
  12.
  13. The practitioner might notice areas where energy is impassable or moves abnormally slow, this would be considered “stagnant” or a block, and should be cleared. To clear a block or stagnant energy, the practitioner should feel the energy they are moving, command it to clear the block, feel it clearing out the block, and visualize it clearing out the block and returning the area to a normal state. This is a 3 step process of programming the energy, using the programmed energy, then following up with belief that it worked.
  14.
  15. Clearing energetic blocks and flushing the system is a healthy practice that is often overlooked. The best analogy is comparing it to stretching before a long run, stretching is not required, but the smart runner is always sure to stretch before every jog. The path recommends flushing and clearing blocks before and after any major energy work, and should be at least practiced daily.
  16.
  17. For actively healing the energetic system. The first step in this is to identify any and all damage.
  18.
  19. Once the practitioner becomes well versed in the energy body, and more specifically their own, they can use this familiar knowledge to actively heal the energy system when damaged. A simple and effective method to repair damage is to recall the way in which the body properly functions, and reprogram and direct the energy of the body to return to this state, That is, to remind the body how it's supposed to be, actively guiding it to a more healthy state.
  20.
  21. This process is also automatically done by the energetic body over time, and the energy around the damage can be programmed to speed up the natural healing process of the energetic system. This will include feeding more energy to the damaged area, and programming the extra energy to accelerate the natural healing process.
  22.
  23. This is done exactly as flushing a block. The practitioner will gather energy, move the energy to the area that needs to be healed, commanding the energy to heal the damage, feel it healing the area, and visualize it healing the problem.
