No, you took it there. YOU called ME. You're the one who spent a day harassing someone because they did something mean to you in a video game. Do you even comprehend how childish that is?

What's more, being given roles only cost you a day. All you needed to do was drop roles, wait 24 hours, and leave the corp. YOU chose to buy a new ship and run missions while you were in a hostile corp that is at war with a half-dozen entities. That second loss is entirely your fault.

The icing on the cake though is that I had absolutely nothing to do with any of this. I didn't recruit you, I didn't accept your application, I didn't give you roles, I didn't shoot you. All I ever did was type words in a chat window, and now you've stooped to real-life harassment.

I'm only going to say this once: it stops, now. Your little stunt with the pizza is messing with people who aren't me. I don't play childish games, and if you continue down this road I won't have any choice but to involve CCP and the police.

I've always known exactly where my real name was connected with this one; I've just never had to worry about some nut-job taking a game too seriously until today. By harassing me and attempting to intimidate my family, you've forced me to take this in a serious direction, so I'm going to follow it through.

I've played games online since 1996. I've made a lot of enemies with my approach to emergent gameplay. In 17 years, you are the FIRST person to make a serious attempt at intimidating me in person. I say that just so you understand just how abnormal your behavior today has been.

You're acting like a child. You can't separate reality from fiction and you seem to think that it's justifiable to carry a vendetta from a video game into the real world. To hell with the consequences, a guy in a game laughed when someone he knows did a mean thing, and that makes it okay for you to do whatever you can to get revenge over something stupidly trivial.

You don't seem to fully understand the consequences of your actions, so I'm going to make it plain: what you have been doing today is illegal. With some assistance from a few companies who are sympathetic to this sort of thing, I could at the very least get a judge to sign a restraining order on you. Your character is far older than mine, yet you seem to be completely ignorant of fundamental game mechanics. Normally I would educate you on just what it is you don't understand, but you've annoyed me so I'm going to all you to wallow in your own incompetence.

What I think of you that you are STILL trying to justify what you did. You took the outcome of a video game and used it to justify real-life action. Here's a clue: there's no justifying it. You will never, ever be able to convince any rational person that your choice of actions was right, justified, or socially acceptable. You're on your way to being the subject of a 20/20 episode where they talk about the crazy stalker guy on the internet.

I am complaining about you not letting me do something which I was entitled to: slink away in shame that I lost a CNR. Both you and monk.

Also, I doubt its going to go that far. I did not threaten you. I stopped before you asked. At no point did I proceed past that. In fact, I think you never actually ASKED me to stop. Which is what would have been recommended to you if you called your local police department.

Let me put it in these terms: I WOULD HAVE STOPPED IF YOU ASKED. It does not make it right, I know. But its important for me to know that you understand the simplest of manners: listen and attempt to accomodate someone when they ASK something of you. THAT is what being nice is.
