  1. [TGI] An honest attempt at a well-mannered complaint.
  2. Alt08 wrote at 4/16/2014 10:35:48 PM:Report Abuse
  3. Good evening, Lord Rodgerdodger.
  4.
  5. It saddens me that I have to make this complaint in the first place, I quite honestly would have rather avoided it.
  6. I believe that I have made an effort to refrain from this stage of action, but certain occurrences have spurred me to continue with this formal complaint and finally make this accusation. In writing this I seek only the best for TGI, and have Arcadia's best interests at heart.
  7.
  8. In advance, I apologize for the length and nature of this complaint. You have my deepest respect and thanks if you do read this document, I'm aware you are obliged to deal with a great deal of administrative work and that this is only adding a lengthy incursion to that work-load.
  9.
  10. The complaint itself is in regard to the attitude, behaviour and general conduct of now-Commandant Stattrak.
  11.
  12. It is my belief that not only is he undeserving of both his recent promotions, but that he is truly unfit for leadership in any shape or form within the Imperium. As outlandish and radical as this opinion may seem, I shall attempt to provide ample reasoning and justification for my beliefs.
  13.
  14. I myself possess a mid-ranking position within the Imperium, but wish to keep my identity to myself in the possible event that this document is met with hostile response. Perhaps I am simply paranoid.
  15.
  16. I would request that you please keep in mind that I have been working on this document for a matter of weeks, you have my sincerest of apologies if it comes across as unstructured or rambling.
  17.

  19.
  20. The attitude displayed by Stattrak while on duty and at events seems entirely outlandish and unacceptable to me. I have witnessed him directly insulting and disrespecting lower ranks at sparring sessions, in direct disregard for the codex. I have witnessed him opening an argument with another Officer, simply due to the fact that the Officer requested he use full grammar while leading. Obviously, he completely refused to comply. I have witnessed him pick arguments within TS3 with other members, over the issue of external affairs and alliances.
  21.
  22. He does not abide by the laws of all Arcadia.
  23.
  24. I am also aware of the reasoning behind his recent demotion to Centurion, and personally I considered the punishment as lenient seeing as he completely disrespected not only yourself, but several other TGI members on the forums following his demotion. It baffles me that he should have his rank restored, and receive an additional promotion so soon after this event. If he can't follow orders, he shouldn't be placed into a position to give them. What do his promotions tell other members? It's alright to show blatant disrespect and disregard the codex? That they'll have their rank restored soon after punishment, making it completely inconsequential? That they are rewarded for their disobedience?
  25.
  26. During a time in which Officers are urged to lead by example, why is an Officer giving such an undesirable and utterly dreadful example being rewarded and having his power/influence heightened?
  27.
  28. - [2]
  29.
  30. In the presence of far more worthy candidates the promotion of Stattrak is simply demoralising and misleading for other potential Officers.
  31.
  32. I would like to outline the following Centurions as being more worthy of promotion than Stattrak, in my experience.
  33.
  34. - Oloff http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=5212252
  35. -Imitater http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=31254527
  36. -Fluxiod http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=25012313
  37.
  38. They do not cause internal issues, they follow the codex in a far more appropriate manner. Seeing Stattrak repromoted would do little to them but cause distress and puzzlement. They are loyal, mature and effective Arcadians. Will seeing Stattrak be rewarded not only cause them to deviate from their current path, and display less of their respective qualities? I am not requesting they be promoted, I am simply calling into question their increased worthiness in comparison to Stattrak.
  39.
  40. -[3]
  41.
  42. Within TS3 Stattrak has been heard to insult Arcadians for their apparent lack of ability or 'mental acuity' (to put his terms lightly) while failing to conclude a raid upon TRA.
  43.
  44. Following his victory in a TRA server with odds far in TGI's favour he simply sat in the TS3 insulting other Arcadians whom were currently raiding a server in which they were outnumbered by TRA including DrDr, and a significant number of TRA elites. Instead of responding to a fellow Officers pleas for reinforcement, Stattrak failed to order the Arcadians whom were in his server to get in queue, instead insulting the Officers in the TS3. He basted of his own ability, while refusing to order TGI to get in queue. The long response time caused the raid to stretch out over the next couple of hours, due to the large number of TRA in queue, until it was eventually won.
  45.
  46. To me this incident not only proves his undesirable character, but outlines his lack of ability to work as a part of an effective team and his desire to prove his own ability being above his sense of duty or loyalty.
  47.
  48. - [4]
  49.
  50. His position as head of external affairs seems peculiar.
  51.
  52. Why should such a problematic and misbehaving Officer be placed in charge of external affairs? Should the first impression given to our allies be one of inadequacy and immaturity? Surely a friendly, strong and persuasive individual (whom is actually a member of the high-command) should be charged with this task?
  53.
  54. Stattrak's conduct on the forums is also ridiculously outwith the regulations of the codex, being both critical of other Officers, and being unable to participate in a simple discussion without causing escalation.
  55.
  56. For example, his comment left upon this forum falsely criticising yourself for requesting applicants do not PM you demanding acceptance into TGI.
  57.
  58. "If I get Field Marshal I will fix this."
  59.
  60. Instead of correcting the mistake along with the posters lack of research into the issue, he takes the opportunity to bolster his own reputation by making others within TGI look bad. This ties into the previous point about selfish desire for personal recognition and advancement within TGI.
  61.

  63.
  64. If you have reached this far, I can do little but urge you to consider the points made within this document. These points have been compiled after a period of subtle digging into the opinions of various others within TGI, both within and outwith the Officer core, and include most of the problems raised. I am certainly not alone in this belief, although I don't have a desire to air it publicly and cause unneeded strife.
  65.
  66. I am aware that this may achieve very little, but I thought it only right that these concerns be voiced in a meaningful manner. I also understand that the individuals chosen by the high-command for leadership are not to be commented upon by those such as myself, and that this could be viewed as somewhat disrespectful and insensitive. But, as was previously stated, I wished to take the time to voice an argument concerning the very wellbeing of the Imperium, something which I have wished to do for some time.
  67.
  68. I must also thank you for your dutiful perseverance in reading this message, I am aware it was long-winded and rambling in places. It means a great deal that we have HRs such as yourself willing to take time over such issues and inquests, and I thank you greatly for reaching this far.
  69.
  70. Best of regards,
  71. A loyal Arcadian.
