  1. >Rosenberg:" I see that you have improved with the Axe dear Anon..."
  2. A: Oh, Hello sire. I didn`t see you there
  3. >Rosenberg:" I just came back from the visit I paid to your family"
  4. A: Did they ask about me? Did you send them my regards m`lord?
  5. >Rosenberg:" Oh yes indeed I did, you could say that they were pretty...warm with me, and I believe I should be warmer with you too"
  6. >The pony unsheates his sword and walks slowly in your direction
  7. >A: What do you mean with that M`lord? W-what are you doing?
  8. >Rosenberg:" The same I did with YOUR family!"
  9. >In a bright light Rosenberg`s sword is engulfed with flames and drops blood on the floor as he walk at you
  10. >Rosenberg:"Anooon... ANOOOOOON!"
  11. >...
  12. >...
  13. >...
  14. >F:"Anon! Wake up Mister!"
  15. A: AAAAAAH!
  16. >You wake up and quickly grab your axe, bringing it close to the neck of the pony standing beside you, the rage dictates that you end her life but your heart stops you
  17. >F:*EEP*A-Anon!
  18. A:F-Fluttershy...I-I`am very sorry M´lady!
  19. >The sight makes you back up
  20. >You would never hurt an innocent
  21. >Your hands start to shake as the adrenaline wears off and you drop the axe, even if it`s usually weightless for you it felt like if you were grabbing an entire castle with just your hands
  22. >You look at the yellow pegasus, her face shows the horror she felt by your actions
  23. A:I ask your pardon M´lady, it...it was a terrible nightmare and I woke up startled
  24. >F:"S-sorry for startling you your lordship b-but it`s daytime now and I thought we might continue our walk, the villes is just an hour from here"
  25. A: Please M´lady, do not take me for a Lord... I don`t think I`am even a commoner in this times
  26. >She doesnt respond, she just looks away
  27. >Good, you didn`t want to explain yourself right now
  28. >Not after that burst of rage
  29. >Without another word you raise the camp
  30. >You put on your Heraldric mail, hoof-made by the greatest craf-p0ny in your lands just for you
  31. >It has the design of your Noble banter on it
  32. >The Lone-wolf has strucked fear and respect on the enemies as well as compassion and love for the allies and commoners alike
  33. >Equip your quiver, bow, shield and grab your axe
  34. >It`s time to move, you don`t want to stay here all day, there are worse things that some random looters or thiefs
  35. >*AN HOUR OR SO OF WALK LATER*
  36. A: I tell you miss Fluttershy, I shouldn`t go with you from here, ponies were used to my presence in my lands but here... well lets say that I`am not a common view
  37. >F:" Nonsense Mister, Ponyville is a place full of nice ponies and they wouldn`t raise a hoof against you, I`am sure of it"
  38. >That doesn`t calm you
  39. >It disturbs you what might happen when other ponies see you in this new land
  40. >Since you never went far away from home almost everyp0ny was used to see you everyday
  41. >But here
  42. >It`s gonna be different, VERY different...
  43. >F:"Here we are Anon"
  44. >Raising you head you find yourself at the entrance of the ville
  45. >Lots of ponies are seen working the land, others with the cows and the rest trotting around
  46. >One old pony comes closer to you both and salutes Fluttershy while glaring at you
  47. >She seems to be the elder of the village
  48. >Elder:"Fluttershy! What happened to you my dear!? You have cuts and bruises all over!"
  49. >After discovering this he fiercely stares at you
  50. >Elder:" What did you do to our dear Fluttershy you...you MONSTER!"
  51. >You back away a little
  52. >It`s been just a few hours since you stepped into Equestria and you are already being called a monster
  53. >Talking about warm welcomes
  54. >F:"Mayor Mare, no! Anon didn`t do anything to me, on the contrary, he saved my life from some thiefs! T-They were going to kill me!"
  55. >At least somep0ny is on your side here
  56. >The elder just looks at Fluttershy and goes back to you
  57. >Mayor:"Is that true? Did you save our dear nurse?
  58. A: It was a mere act of honor M´lady. I was travelling when I heard some screams and when I took a peek at the situation I saw her being chased by four looters. I couldn`t just stand there so I attacked the damnable thiefs. They won`t bother any of you anymore.
  59. >Mayor:"By the Sun kid! Then you are our salvation!"
  60. >Salvation?
  61. A: Pardon me mistress?? What do you mean with that?
  62. >He makes a sign for you to follow and you do it
  63. >However before he could say anything, Fluttershy interrupts
  64. >F:"I-I thank you once again, Anon, for rescuing me and taking me back to my home. I need to check on the poor ill ponies but I`ll look up for you once I`am done"
  65. A: Carry on M´lady, but careful with your night acts, understood?
  66. >You glare at her
  67. >She just playfully winks and takes her leave
  68. >Fluttershy has left the party
  69. >You start to walk with the elder as she speaks
  70. >Mayor:"Kid, what you did was not only a true act of honor but also a great display of skill. I can say that even trained soldiers have trouble with more than one contendant sometimes, even if they are just looters"
  71. >You are a humble person, no need for your pride to stain your speech so you just nod in response
  72. >Mayor:" Let me be honest with you, we`ve had a lot of troubles with this bandits lately, they gather around town on big numbers, and even if we as many as them, we lack the weapons and training to fight them, and there is nothing we can do but watch as they take every little thing we own"
  73. >Her face shows a great disgust, only an common feeling about bandits
  74. >Mayor:"What I mean kiddo is... We need help. It`s just a week from now on until they come back and you seem to be the one that can aid us!"
  75. >Such flattery, you are just a man, could you possibly be of help for them?
  76. >Bandits are a disgrace in general, and also a big menace to this kind of settlement
  77. >Guess there is nothing else but try to help
  78. A: I don`t know if my help will be all that you need, but I`ll try M´lady, just give me a couple of hours so I can check for possible defenses for the ville
  79. >And so you did
  80. >You spent a couple of hours scouting the area and looking up for possible places where the bandits could sneak
  81. >Once all the places were marked you headed to the local Tabern
  82. >Water is one thing but some nice Ale would be better
  83. >Once reached the tavern you head inside and drag some stares
  84. >Some ponies look at you in awe, others with fear on their faces
  85. >The rest just minds their own business, you overhear some arguments about leaving the place before the bandits come
  86. >Looking around you find the tavern-attendant
  87. A: Hey...
  88. >Attendant:"Yes monkey? What do you want?"
  89. >At least monkey is an improvement from Monster
  90. A: What is the local money used for transactions?
  91. >Attendant:"Have you been living on a cave monkey? Wait a minute, you are not from here right?"
  92. A: Indeed, just came here and wanted to know something from this land. Looks like i`ll be sticking around for some time...
  93. >Attendant:"Same as everyp0ny monkey. Equestria uses Denars as payment, a pint is 1 Denar"
  94. >Denars...
  95. >The Empire Kingdom had some knockledge from value of other coins, even if you only used Cents as payment
  96. >You remember that 2 cents have the same value as 1 Denar
  97. >Checking you only find just 2 Cents, it`s either your lucky or unlucky day, depending on the point of view
  98. >On one hand, you are poor, you have no more money left
  99. >On the other hand, at least you can have a nice pint
  100. A: I`ll give you 2 Cents, the exact same value as 1 Denar. Give me a pint please.
  101. >Attendant:" Suit yourself..."
  102. >He pours your drink and gives it to you
  103. >You take a sip and put it down
  104. A: What can you tell me about this land?
  105. >The Attendant doesn`t look at you, he just stays there cleaning a glass, but still says:
  106. >Attendant:"What do you want to know? Everything here is screwed monkey. If you don`t get killed by bandits then you are recruited to die at war"
  107. A: Are there many conflicts here in Equestria?
  108. >Attendant:"Conflicts? The entire land is a war-zone!"
  109. >That doesn`t sound good
  110. >The Empire Kingdom was known for being a small but powerful place, but always stayed neutral
  111. >The only disputes were the ones that some Lords had with others
  112. >Those usually ended up on a duel
  113. >Glorious are the old ways...
  114. A: Which sides are fighting and why?
  115. >Attendant:" You really don`t know anything about Equestria, do you?"
  116. >He gives you a weird look and you reply:0
  117. A: I wouldn`t be asking you if I did...
  118. >Attendant:"Fair enough. There are five sides on the war. Each one of them is ruled by a self-claimed King or Queen who things he or she has the right to rule all Equestria"
  119. >That`s odd
  120. >Isn`t a line of succession here?
  121. A: Why is that? Is everyp0ny or whoever wants to be King or Queen called as such?
  122. >Attendant:"You are wrong assuming such things monkey. They are renown as such because they have important proof that gives them the "right" to claim the crown"
  123. >The only thing that gives you the right to claim the crown on the Empire is to have royal blood, or be voted by the commoners
  124. >The last one is a new tradition born after a dispute where some Lords couldn`t fight due to personal problems so they decided that the people from the villages should have the last word
  125. >Attendant:"Not only that, but the land is split in 4 minor kingdoms, each one of them ruled by these claimants. Celestia rules the Kingdom of the Ponies on the north, Chrysalis rules the Kingdom of Changelings on the east, Harlaus rules the griffon Kingdom on the west and, finally, Discord rules the beasts on the south... We are a big family here
  126. >The sarcasm was so strong that you could feel it lifting your crotchal area
  127. >Wait, lifting your crotch?
  128. >Indeed you feel something lifting it, so you look down
  129. >You find Fluttershy pushing your ballsack with her snout
  130. >look at the attendant and ask her to excuse you
  131. >Lower your drink
  132. >A man can`t even drink in peace
  133. >You grab her by the neck and drag her into a corner
  134. A: Fluttershy, what in the shadows are you doing!?
  135. >She hides behind her mane and hides a little blush
  136. >F:"H-Hello to you too Anon"
  137. >This mare...
  138. A: I thought I made myself clear last night M´lady. Could you please stop with your sexual harassment?
  139. >F:"S-Sorry mister, I thought that maybe I could show you my love for you this time"
  140. >Her love?
  141. A: Fluttershy, it`s been only two days since we know each-other and you are talking about love already? Damnation, not even the courtship between Ladys and Lords takes too little time.
  142. >It`s true
  143. >Usually in order for a Lord to court a Lady the male has to declare himself as her most ardent admirer, they see eachother two or three times and with a simple Tournament victory dedication or a poem and BAZIN! You are getting married
  144. >It`s kinda sad, because Lords just marry with other houses just to raise their reputation with the realm
  145. >Heavens why are thinking about love with this crazy mare around you
  146. >F:"Anon? Is everything Okay?"
  147. A: Wha-? Erm yes yes, everything is ok. M`lady listen, I need you to go to sleep, I`ll be needing your help tomorrow. If this ville wants me to help them with that bandit infestation then I`ll need all the help possible, we`ll barricate the surrounding area and then the training will begin.
  148. >You take one last sip from your drink and leave
  149. >Providing aid to some villagers on your first time here wasn`t your first plan but you just can`t let them to their fate
  150. >You grab some rocks and put them together forming a circle on the floor near a building
  151. >Then you grab some branches and set up a mini-campfire
  152. >This little fire should be enough for a warm night
  153. >You drop your gear and close your eyes, slowly fading away from the world and going into dream-land
  154. >*The next day*
  155.
  156. >Open your eyes
  157. >No sweat, no tears...
  158. >Nothing at all
  159. >It`s uncommon to have a good night of sleep for you
  160. >Slowly rise up, and do the morning routine
  161. >Go near a tree, take a shit, and wash your face with some water provided by the townsp0nies
  162. >Grab your stuff, gotta move that gear up
  163. >F:"Hello Anon! Did you sleep well?"
  164. A: Oh hey there Fluttershy. Thanks the Heavens I slept without nightmares chasing me this time.
  165. >It is a gift for this day, a lot of work to do
  166. A: Ok M´lady, we need to begin our preparations. Summon everyp0ny so we can get this started
  167. >F:"Right away Mister!"
  168. >Odd...
  169. >You barely know her but it`s easy to guess that she is usually less disposed to this kind of thing
  170. >Nevermind
  171. >Fluttershy leaves and in a few minutes everyp0ny is gathered around the center of the ville
  172. >Mayor Mare, the Elder, is the first to ask
  173. >Mayor:"Okey kid, here we are. Tells us what you need and we should start right away"
  174. >Everyp0ny seems pretty disposed to this, better use this as our advantage
  175. A: Ok everyp0ny, listen up. After some scouting I saw a lot of places where the bandits could sneak up. I have marked them and we need to barricate them in such a way that they could only enter throught the front, this way it will be easier for us to set up an ambush for them.
  176. >One pony steps infront and says
  177. >?:"I`ll be in charge of it, I work as a craftp0ny so it won`t be a bother"
  178. >WAIT
  179. A: Hold on! You said you are a craftp0ny? No, I will be needing you for another job, let the others barricate the place
  180. >Craftp0ny:"And what would that job be?"
  181. >As if it wasn`t obvious
  182. A: I need you to make some large wooden poles, we`ll be using those for training and it shouldn`t take much time to do them, right?
  183. >Craftp0ny:"Aye, I`ll have them ready in a couple of hours"
  184. A: Now, I need others to look around the place and gather as many rocks you find and bring them here, we`ll use them as projectiles, and if you have bows or something else that can be useful, like Sickles, Cleavers or Pitch Forks, then bring it too
  185. >A group of ponies turns around and take responsability of that task
  186. A: Finally, we need to make some planning, Elder?
  187. >You look at her and she nods at the sound of her name
  188. A: I need you to stay here in the middle of the ville when the bandits arrive, if we can convince them that there is nothing unusual going on, then the ambush will be perfect, can you do it?
  189. >You are asking for her to stand in the face of danger
  190. >You`ll take her place but there is something that needs to be made
  191. >And you are the only one fully equiped for that task
  192. >And after the planning is over, everyp0ny, as well as you, start doing their jobs
  193. >At the end of the day, the town has filled the holes, everything that can be used as a weapon has been distributed and there is only one thing left to do
  194. >The training
  195. >You spend what`s left of the day explaining how to handle the weapons
  196. >The pegasus should be the first ones that can handle it, they can fly while swinging the weapons
  197. >The earth ponies have it a little more difficult, but with a little training on their back legs is always enough for them to stand and fight
  198. >The unicorns are the ones always in charge of the ranged attacks
  199. >Due to their magic they can levitate the jabelins, throwing axes and even aim with the bows and crossbows
  200. >When the next day arrives, everyp0ny gathers again in the center
  201. A: Ok, listen up!
  202. >You say as you grab one of the poles
  203. A: I need a few volunteers for the practice. Grab a pole and show me what you learned!
  204. >Three of them step infront and grab the poles
  205. >Not bad, at least some of them fully grasped the theory
  206. >The practical part is the tough one tho
  207. A: Now, charge at me!
  208. >The three of them run at you ready to swing the poles
  209. >You simply avoid two of them and gracefully
  210. >And knock the hell out of the third one
  211. >One-hit KO
  212. A: NEVER. Move your weapon away from your body before attacking, you`ll be easy targets!
  213. >The rest of them swing again at you
  214. >Using the pole as protection you stop their attack and back away
  215. A: Always check your ground. A good balance is the base for a good defense.
  216. >One last show before the curtain drop
  217. >In a quick charge, you grab your shield from your back and charge at the ponies
  218. >Knock one of them out of the way with your shield and hit the other with the pole
  219. >The one that received the P is sleeping like a new born baby
  220. >On the floor...
  221. >And the other one is trying to get up, but you get closer and aim your pole at him
  222. A: When charging, use all your equipment wisely, there is no need to focus on a single foe, simply get him out of the way and deal with other. THEN fight the rest. Picking your foes is a basic but important rule on the battlefield.
  223. >The pony gives up and just drops himself on the floor while panting
  224. >During the rest of the week it was the same everyday
  225. >You kept training them in the basics of battle
  226. >Fluttershy had it really rough healing up the wounded after the training
  227. >*Day of the Arrival*
  228. A: Come on ponies, climb to the roof and get those proyectiles ready! We don`t have time to lose!
  229. >The ponies climb and take the stones and some axes with them
  230. >Townp0ny:"M´lord! Here the come!"
  231. >You look at the horizon
  232. >A bunch of ponies coming this way
  233. >There are like 30 or 40 of them
  234. A: OK EVERYP0NY IN POSITION! GET BEHIND THE HOUSES, READY YOURSELFES AND DO NOT ACT UNTIL I GIVE THE SIGNAL!
  235. >They all take their positions
  236. >F:"A-Anon? What should I do?"
  237. >The yellow pony looks at you, she seems scared, like the day with those looters
  238. A: Listen M´lady, I need you to stay hidden. You need to think about your safety and if something goes wrong, these ponies will need you, ok?
  239. >She noods with an "aha" and takes her leave
  240. >Cute
  241. >Now, let`s find the Elder
  242. A: Oh! There you are!
  243. >Gracious fate, she was right behind you...
  244. A: Ok, now stay where you usually are, don`t look nervous, everything is going to be Ok.
  245. >Mayor:"I hope so..."
  246. >She goes to the center of the ville and pretends to be working on something
  247. >A noice alerts you
  248. >The bandits are at the front entrance
  249. >Time for the shadows to hide your presence
  250.
  251. >Be Mayor Mare
  252. >Elder of Ponyville
  253. >And damnation you coulnd`t be more scared than now
  254. >You drag some papers with you pretending to be working on something
  255. >And you hear it
  256. >Bandit Leader:"Well well well... Look what we have here!"
  257. >Pretentious bastard...
  258. >Bandit Leader:"If it isn`t my favorite village Elder... WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR US THIS WEEK WHORSE!?"
  259. >Ok, turn around slowly and put on your best sad face
  260. >Who knows? Maybe a little cuteness will make them leave
  261. >Mayor:"M´lord, we are just a few poor farmers, we don`t have anything of value!"
  262. >Cuteness at it`s extreme
  263. >Bandit Leader:"HA! Look at this old-bones with a sad face, her face look like my fat ass-cheeks when I take a shit!"
  264. >Well now, that was just rude
  265. >Bandit Leader:"Don`t come whine with me you half-wit, now give us those Denars and the food, then we`ll be on our way"
  266. >He gets closer to you, so you back away
  267. >Bandit Leader:"After we have some fun..."
  268. >He says with a grin on his face
  269. >Bandit Leader:" HA HA HAHAHAHAA...!"
  270. >You close oyur eyers waiting for the worst
  271. >All you hear is his laugh and then some choking
  272. >Open you eyes, an arrow penetrated his throat
  273. >The other bandits just look and slowly back away
  274.
  275. >Be Anon
  276. >BULLSEYE!
  277. >Who knew that the hunt would prove to be such a good training in archery?
  278. >Bandit:"WHO DID THAT? SHOW YOURSELF!"
  279. >The rest of the bandits unsheat their weapons and some of them prepare their bows
  280. >Who knew this filthy bastards had some unicorns on their ranks?
  281. >Quickly go to the other corner of the town while the bandits search for you
  282. >This ville is a maze, perfect for attacking from the shadows
  283. >When in position, shoot various arrows on them
  284. >Unload on these mothefuckers Anon!
  285. >At the end of the mini-shower, 14 of them are down
  286. >Looking at where Mayor was she is not there anymore
  287. >Good, she took cover as you told her some days ago
  288. >Ok, time for this bandits to learn their lesson
  289. >You grab your Axe and go to the center
  290. >They look at you in awe
  291. >Bandit:"W-Who are you! WHAT ARE YOU! Are you the one that did this!?"
  292. >He gets closer as he points his almost shattered sword at you
  293. >You raise your axe and point at the dead bandits
  294. A: Look at this mess...And I thought this was a clean city
  295. >He charges screaming at you
  296. >His rage blinds him and you notice that he raised his sword
  297. A: First mistake you scoundrel!
  298. >Move aside and avoid the attack
  299. >He swinges to the sides and you block it with the Axe
  300. A: That`s your second mistake mah boy!
  301. >You move a little to the right as he swings again and plant your Axe on his face
  302. A: You shouldn`t have left the bed today...
  303. >His lifeless body falls and the rest of the bandits prepare their weapons
  304. >Without losing time your shout
  305. A: FIRE AT WILL!
  306. >The ponies on the roofs throw everything they have
  307. >Some of the bandits cover their heads and others fall knocked
  308. A: EVERYPONY HEAR ME! CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!
  309. >Like a cloud they surround the bandits with screams and attacks
  310. >This calm ville just became a battleground
  311. >You join the battle and kill a few other bandits
  312. >Some of the farmer ponies lay lifeless on the ground
  313. >It`s a sad display, but you can`t mourn them now
  314. >They died defending their loved ones and their home
  315. >?:"ANON BEHIND YOU!"
  316. >A female voice alerts you and one of the bandits tryes to backstab you
  317. >You move aside and hit him with your shield
  318. >He falls to the ground and you finish him with your Axe
  319. >?:"ANON HELP P-PLEASE!"
  320. >The same voice
  321. >You look around and your pupils shrink at the sight
  322. >Three bandits surround Fluttershy
  323. >She stands against a wall with a Sickle on her hoofs
  324. >You run at them and stand in fron of her facing the bandits
  325. A: YOU`LL DIE BEFORE YOU LAY A HOOF ON HER!
  326. >Fluttershy looks at you, frozen in fear as she shivers in place
  327. >The three of them charge at the same time
  328. >A simple swing of your Axe is enough to take out two of them at the same time
  329. >The third one stops on his tracks
  330. >He falls to the ground and a Pitch Fork is encrusted on his back
  331. >Mayor Mare stands behind him with a smile
  332. >You nod at her but before moving away she screams
  333. >Mayor:"ANON WATCH OUT!"
  334. >Too late
  335. >You hear a loud noice and then nothing
  336. >You fall to the ground with a huge pain on the back of your head
  337. >Try to move but it`s useless, your sight is being nublated and a high pitched noice is the only thing you hear
  338. >Bandit:"Take that you Monkey! I`ll make sure to cook you and throw you to the wol-IAAAAAAAAGH!"
  339. >The bandit screams in pains and drops to the ground near you
  340. >A sickle rests on his back and Fluttershy stands there with a shocked face
  341. >She leans closer and her mouth moves like if she were talking but you hear nothing
  342. >Is this your death?
