  1. I want to invite the attached list of leads to a webinar. Unfortunately the spelling for company name and job title is not consistent among leads that share those attributes, so those will need to be cleaned up to make reporting easier (Clean these up in Marketo, not in Excel)
  2.
  3. This is the first webinar of many that I will be running, and I want to test two different e-mails to see which one is more effective. I want the email to be personalized to have each person’s name in the salutation, and the closing to be the name of the lead owner. This e-mail should direct them to a landing page to register for the event.
  4.
  5. I need a form on the landing page to collect their e-mail address, company, first name, last name, and favorite animal. I also want to automatically capture information about the e-mail they came from. (Hint: This will require a hidden field)
  6.
  7. The favorite animal field should be mapped to a field in SFDC for both the Lead and the Contact. When they fill out the form, I want them be able to only choose between: Dog, Cat, Bird, Fish, Reptile
  8.
  9. After they submit the form, I want the people to be taken to a page where they can download supplemental information (PDFs attached) to prepare for the webinar. I also want then added to a new nurture campaign track so we can target them specifically for other webinars in the future.
  10.
  11. The webinar should send out a reminder e-mail 2 days after they register that includes a link the webinar. If someone forwards the e-mail to a friend, I don’t want that friend to be able to use the link to join the webinar without registering, so the e-mail should also include a personalized registration code. I also want this e-mail to include an ICS file so that people can add the webinar to their calendar.
  12.
  13. For reporting purposes, I want to know how many people have been sent the e-mail, have clicked through, and how many have registered.
  14.
  15. After the Webinar is finished (5 days from registering), I want to send out a thankyou letter to everyone who attended, and a ‘sorry we missed you’ to everyone who registered, but did not attend. I want the opening paragraph to have different content based on the job title of the person that attended. I also want to include an invitation to the next webinar, but I don’t know when that is yet. Please make it so that I can update only one place and it will update all of the different content boxes for both e-mails (The ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry we missed you’)
  16.
  17. For each lead that did not attend, but registered, please also send a notification to the lead owner that includes the leads name, and the name of the SFDC campaign the lead is a member of.
  18.
  19. I also have several presenters available (Dennis, James, Jamie, Sean). When someone makes a new program, I want them to be required to provide this value for the Program/Webinar.
  20.
  21. For the e-mails that are being sent out, I would like to change the unsubscribe text to read “Please do not unsubscribe” With the unsubscribe word as link
  22.
  23. When all is said and done, I want to make a smart list that will tell me all of the leads that: Attended the webinar, but were not interns or in Marketing, The people that did not register that are in marketing, all of the executives that registered but did not attend, and executives whose company name does not start with the letter B
  24.
  25. Please also prepare a campaign that will allow me to put all of the leads that registered but did not attend into a ‘Dead Beats’ lead partition after everything is said and done. I also want to make sure that everyone who does not attend, but registers in the future will go to that lead partition automatically.
