Q's Surprise

Alexithymiaa: -Quinn pulled her little yellow Juke into the driveway of the sorority house, looking up at the house after getting to spend the weekend home with her best friends in Virginia. She let out a small sigh and climbed out of the car, walking around to the trunk to open the catch and drag out her forest green suitcase. Pulling on the handle, she closed the hatch and started up toward the house, rolling the suitcase behind her.-

Covet: Thorn was in the kitchen opening packages of gummy fries, sticking them onto the Chocolate cheescake marble brownies that had a bright multi colored frosting, because Quin likes that shit. The gummy fries were spelling out, "Welcome Home" in the square pan.  "She should be here soon right?" He asked Penny. "What are we drinking with these tonght.
Tsaaq: "I think so..." She said as she glanced at the door. She pulled the fur closer over her shoulders and walked around the kitchen island. "I think I hear her coming." Penelope squealed a little and went to hide. "Wait are we hiding and shouting surprise? Or are we just saying surprise?"
Alexithymiaa: -Walking up the front steps, she dragged the suitcase behing her with a bunch of thuds because too lazy to actually carry it up the stairs. She fumbled with her keys in her hand, searching for the right one for the front door before stepping up to push it open because they probably never locked that shit anyway. Dragging her suitcase in with her, she turned to push the door closed behind her, tossing her ponytail over her shoulder and lingering by the front door to put her keys away to give you guys a post to do whatever the fuck you're doing.-
Tsaaq: ((OOOoops forgot to answer the drink question!))
Covet: "I'm good with scaring the crap out of her. You know she's going to come into the kitchen first." Thorn said with a laugh. "We can figure out drinks after that." He said taking the pan of brownies and followed Penny in the hiding process, slipping around the corner into the dining room.
Tsaaq: She heard the door opening. "I think that's her." She waited for Quinn to actually enter the house before popping up from behind the kitchen island with her arms up. "Surprise! Welcome home!" Penelope cheered, waiting to see Quinn's shocked expression.
Alexithymiaa: -She walked forward with her suitcase wheeling behind her, her intentions to grab a drink before she headed up to her room to unpack. When Penelope and Thorn jumped up and yelled surprise, she stopped short, her eyes going wide and jumping just a bit. Her lips slowly curved into a smile, letting her of her suitcase handle. "Aw, what are you doing?"
Covet: Thorn stepped out and called out surprise with Penelope, Holding out the brownie pan. " Welcoming you home, duh Quinn." He told her with a mocking eyeroll.  "You left looking a little blue, so we came up with an idea to make you feel special when you got back home. To let you know we were thinking of you."
Tsaaq: "Yes. Thorny and I decided we'd do something for you." Penelope smiled and went to wave Quinn closer to the kitchen island. "It's brownies!" She clapped with excitement.
Alexithymiaa: "You guys..." She said in a tone of pure adoration, stepping in and trying to pull them both in for a hug at the same time. "Thank you. That's so sweet of you. I really do have the best of friends."-
Covet: "Fuck yeah you do." Thorn said wrapping his arms around the both of them, giving Quinn a kiss on the head. "You're welcome. Now I need to know what you want to drink, so I we can eat these."  He said letting them go.
Tsaaq: She smiled at Quinn and went to kiss her cheek. "I just love seeing your face light up like that." She said as she gave the blonde a small squeeze. "Now try it! We've put our blood sweat and tears in it!" She nodded to the brownies once more.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled at the two of them, taking a step back so she could look into their faces. "I don't think beer goes well with brownies, and I've been drinking all weekend so maybe just some tea?" She asked, her eyes focusing on the brownies and how completely adorable they were. "I really appreciate that you did this for me. Having to come back after spending the whole weekend at home.... this just really helps with that."-
Covet: Thorn shook his head, "Nah, it makes them taste less sweet with how bitter they are." He dug around for a knife to cut the brownies and looked over at Penelope, "Would you mind getting the tea started? He got some plates for them and put a brownie on each one.
Tsaaq: "I'd love to!" Penelope cheered. "It's so good to have you here." She went to the kitchen sink and got her tea kettle all set up. "I think my goal was to make you feel at home with us too... I had a feeling you were down in the dumps." Penelope hummed as she put the tea on the stove. "Thorny agreed with me. So we decided you deserved nice things."
Alexithymiaa: "Thank you." She leaned back against the counter as she watched Penelope set up the tea. "I'm still working on adjusting to this being home. It doesn't quite feel that way yet. I'm used to climbing into bed every night and having my dog sleeping on my feet. Or getting up and going over to my best friend's house to go through her closet and borrow clothes. It's just what I'm used to and I miss it. It was nice to return to that this weekend, but I'm glad I get to come back to you guys."-
Covet: "Because we're nice people!" He said loudly just in case Bea was home. "I'm glad your visit home did you some good too, even if you didn't want to leave, because you had to come back to us. Oh and School too, I guess." Thorn smirked, taking a brownie for himself. "You should bring us home with you sometime."
Tsaaq: Penelope began to pout when hearing Quinn explain her tribulations about not being home. "You can borrow some of my clothes?" She offered as she heard the kettle hiss. "Which flavor would you two like?" She asked as she took out her tea tray, complete with teabags and sugar cubes and all. "We did miss you by the way-" Penelope gasped and smiled. "Oh my goodness, yes. I love that idea."
Alexithymiaa: "Bring you home with me?" She repeated as she looked at them, thinking it over. "I think my parents would probably have an aneurysm. But that would be fun. You could meet my dog, and my friends. You would just love Angel and Libi, they're the greatest." She said with a smile, her eyes dropping to the tea tray. "Chamomile, please."-
Covet: "I'll take...something, strong with no sugar." Thorn said then chuckled, "Pfft would they? I guess it makes sense, My parents would be cool if you both came home with me. My mom is one of those hippie types, who would think we're  reaching our full romantic potential, and Dad would just be happy that we're happy." He said with a shrug. "But I guess not everyone's parents are that laid back."
Tsaaq: "Chamomile, Spiked Earl Grey, and Peppermint." She spoke out loud as she lined up their tea cups. "What pretty names?" Penelope tilted her head. "I can't say that my parents are particulary laid back either... But them being cross with me wouldn't be very funny at all." She bit the inside of her cheek as she dropped the teabag into their cups then poured the hot water. "I tend to try to stay on their good side."
Alexithymiaa: "My parents are very conservative. That was one of the reasons I used to go over to Angel's to go through her closet, because the things I wanted to wear most of the time, were deemed inappropriate by my mother. Though I've never considered myself to dress inappropriately." She ran her hands down the front of her dress, smoothing out the fabric. "Maybe we should be going home with you for Christmas then, Thorn." She said with a bit of a laugh.-
Covet: "Angel and Libi, huh? Just so long as they don't get the wrong idea that we're looking to add more to this little 'a trois' we have. I can only go so far." He said with a cocky smirk, clearly joking. "I don't want to get anyone in trouble with their parents, first and formost. And if you'd both like to come with me for Christmas, I'd be happy to invite my girlfriend's along."
Tsaaq: She rolled her eyes at Thorn and went to give him his teavup. "Stop that." She laughed and gave him a playful slap on the shoulder. "If your mother is easy going that sounds like the easiest solution..." Penelope said. "Then we can ease into our parents."
Alexithymiaa: "I think maybe having our parents visit here would be easier than bringing everyone into their homes for the initial meeting, don't you think?" She asked Penelope as he reached over to take her tea, taking a small sip because hot.-
Covet: "Wait, like, having them all here at the same time? That might be a recipe for disaster, but six birds with one blow is a bit more convenient." He said taking his tea, having already finished his brownie. "We don't have to tell them anything yet if we don't want to. We're all adults and allowed to live our lives as we want. We're not required to appease the parents all the time. Eventually all baby birds are kicked from the nest."
Tsaaq: Penelope didn't like the idea of her parents at all but instead of saying shit she simply shrugged. "We can plan that. We'll just wait until the time is right. Maybe not Christmas?" She sipped her tea then exhaled.
Alexithymiaa: "Definitely not Christmas. I think we need to establish ourselves and our relationship a bit more before we involve them." She spoke with a not and reached for her brownie to take a bit. "I'm just so appreciate to have you two in my life. This was the best thing to come home to."-
Covet: "So then.. maybe for easter or something. That's the holiday that's all about boinking like bunnies anyways right? How symbolic." He said with a laugh, "Glad to see you come home happy, Quinn. And I'm staying here tonight, so there will be plenty of cuddles to go with tea and brownies as well."
Tsaaq: "You have no idea how happy that makes me." Penelope grinned at Quinn and let out a dreamy sigh. "I'm ready for the cuddles. But I'll wait for the two of you." She yawned a bit. "Easter is far away enough that I don't feel bad about setting that as the date."
Alexithymiaa: "Then Easter." She said a bit triumphantly, finishing off her brownie and setting her tea down. "Let me just unpack and then we can all get into bed?" She asked with her brows raised, looking between them. "Supposedly I have a new roommate so maybe we should spend the night in your room, Penelope."-
Covet: "What? Don't want to traumatize the roomate that much yet?" Thorn snickerd, "That works for me, I'm going to cover these and put your name on them, since the rest are yours. Penny and I can meet you in her room when you're done?" He asked Quinn, while he went about covering the brownies for safety.
Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "Sounds like a plan. I'll be in my room with bells on." Penelope said with a smile. "Of course we don't want to traumatize her." She shook her head at Thorn and poked him and began to clean up for bedtime.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay, I'll be in soon." She said with a laugh, grabbing for her suitcase so she could drag it up the stairs to her bedroom and put her shit away and change and then go for the cuddles.-
