  1. This is a thread dedicated to the Brazilian team's method of installing Wii U games to Wii U USB HDD and Internal memory. Links will not be provided.
  2.
  3. DO NOT REQUEST OR ASK WHERE TO DOWNLOAD TICKETS OR FOR ANY SHARING WEBSITE NAME.
  4. ADDITIONALLY, BE CAREFUL SHARING CONTENT. IF A PROGRAM IS BEING HOSTED ON, OR CONTAINS LINKS TO WAREZ OR WAREZ SITES, DO NOT POST/LINK TO IT HERE.
  5. YOU WILL RECIEVE A WARNING AND CAN BE BANNED.
  6.
  7. [h] Summarized method[/h]
  8. This method is using WUP installer to install the eShop version of a game using its ticket extracted from the disc version of the same game. The ticket from the disc can be extracted from a WUD image or from a console who already played that game disc.
  9. So:
  10. - The WUD needs to be dumped for that game, or a tik dumped from someone else's console.
  11. - Ticket extracted from a WUD image need to be fixed (they are wrong). Tickets extracted from NAND are already good.
  12.
  13. [h] Important info - What works or not - Please read before asking questions[/h]
  14. Bricking a WiiU with this method is very unlikely, as long as you try games and updates. DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL ANYTHING ELSE (like system titles) OR YOU WILL BRICK.
  15. If you want to install on HDD, you need to format your HDD to WiiU format. It will DELETE everything on that drive. DO NOT USE THE DRIVE YOU USE FOR vWII!
  16. Any USB drive, Hard Drive or Pen Drive can be used. Some hard drives will require external power or a Y Cable.
  17. Online play works, but it's currently unknown if it's safe. No bans have been reported yet. Nintendo shouldn't check your ticket and shouldn't know your "disc based" ticket is installed as an "eShop game". If Nintendo can detect the game type, they can see you didn't buy the real eShop version while you are playing with it.
  18. Loadiine ready games CANNOT BE USED WITH OR CONVERTED TO "USB ready" format, the official encrypted files are required.
  19. Updates can be installed by removing the server filters or using NNUPatcher before launching the game. WUP installer can install updates manually as well (no ticket modification is needed for updates).
  20. Turn HDD sleep mode OFF before installing games to USB. To do this, hold d-pad down, + and - at the same time on the data management screen (with the move/format options visible).
  21. The downloaded games need to be the region of your Wii U. You can install games from another region but they will not launch.
  22. As long as you have enough space, you can install as many games as you want.
  23. Multiple games can be installed at the same time on your SD card with WUP Installer mod y.
  24. Purchased DLC work, as well as DLC bought after install. You can't use non legit DLC, use Loadiine with DLC support for that.
  25. Games installed to your hard drive can be transferred to your internal storage, and can install games to internal storage without installing to USB. They will run fine.
  26. If you have an existing savegame/DLC/Update for your game on your internal storage, it must be moved to your USB before installing the game to USB or you'll lose your savegame! Follow this guide to move your data.
  27. To convert a Loadiine savegame to USB, use Saviine. Guide available here, or a youtube video tutorial here. Savegames from another region should mostly work, but some may not.
  28. NUS downloads DO NOT contain the tik file, tickets must be extracted from the WUD file, or from a console's NAND using IOSU.
  29. Dumping a ticket from your console with CFW booter is possible. (Still not user friendly! Brick risk!)
  30. DO NOT ASK HOW TO MAKE OR DUMP A WUD, it's NOT POSSIBLE. release groups are releasing games WHEN THEY DECIDE. That's all.
  31. If the game is not on this site, or is present but "nuked", it means the WUD does not exist for this game.
  32. ONLY disc format games can be installed. eShop only versions can't be installed because the ticket is tied to the console that bought it.
  33. Don't install games you bought on eShop with this method. (unknown what would happen, just be safe and don't mess your tickets already officially installed)
  34. It's NOT possible to install only the ticket and get the game from eShop. This method doesn't unlock the game on your eShop account. You are installing a Disc ticket, not an eShop ticket.
  35. You CANNOT install programs/games designed for use on devkits. These were signed/encrypted ONLY for use/installation on the devkit. editing the ticket DOES NOT work either.
  36.
  37.
  38. [h]Instructions[/h]
  39. Get the ticket for your game and be sure it's the same region than your console!
  40. - Extract it from a WUD file. Note: you don't need ALL the rar files or extract the full 25GB wud. Only the first .rar or .r01 file is enough to extract an incomplete wud and get the ticket with Cdecrypt.
  41. - Extract it from a console with CFW booter and IOSU hack (not user friendly!).
  42. - Any other method you want to find a ticket.
  43. The file you want is : title.tik or tik located in folder system/02/
  44.
  45. Fix the ticket data
  46. :!: Attention: You don't need to FIX or EDIT or MODIFY tickets from NAND, they're already good.
  47. You also don't need to modify a ticket if someone already fixed it for you!
  48. You can fix a ticket using:
  49. - this tool : https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-wii-u-ticket-modifier.445553/
  50. - or manually : here (not an exact method, trial and error!).
  51. - or uTikDownloadHelper (drag/drop a tik on the exe and it will fix the ticket if needed AND download the game). Easier program!
  52.
  53. Download the game from NUS, do not decrypt. Be sure it's the same region as your console!
  54. you can use:
  55. - JNUSTool with "-dlEncrypted" command. Can resume and fix bad downloads, Faster download speeds. Recommended program!!!
  56. - JNUSTool GUI Mod, enables simultaneous game downloading/queueing + drag/drop a tik to start downloading the respective game.
  57. - NUSGrabber,
  58. - or uTikDownloadHelper (drag/drop a tik on the exe and it will download the game).
  59.
  60. DO NOT USE these programs :
  61. - Uwizard (wrong filename),
  62. - or NewNUSGrabber GUI (uses an outdated list of titles!),
  63.
  64. put the game files (.app, .h3, title.cert, title.tmd, etc.) and the corrected/repaired ticket (title.tik) on your SD card, in SD:/Install/ folder, be sure your ticket is named "title.tik". If not, rename it.
  65.
  66.
  67. Note: If you use the WUP Installer 1.0 mod Y:
  68. instead of using SD:/install/, you can create subfolders (if you want) for each game or game update you want to install.
  69. example:
  70. install/game 1/
  71. install/game 2/
  72. install/game 2 update/
  73. install/any name here/
  74. etc...
  75. You can now install multiple games at the same time.
  76.
  77. Instructions:
  78. Put SD card into Wii U.
  79. Plug in your WiiU Hard drive to your Wii U (if you want to install to USB).
  80. Eject any inserted game disc.
  81. Launch the homebrew launcher.
  82. Launch the WUP Installer Y mod (this WUP installer will not let you install system titles, so you can't brick!)
  83. Use the arrows to mark folders for install, noted by *. You can press + to select all.
  84. Press X button to install to HDD, or press A to install to internal memory.
  85. Let the game(s) install.
  86. When the install ends you will be returned to the install menu. If using the original, you will be returned to the Homebrew Launcher.
  87. On Mod Y, you can eject the SD card on this menu.
  88. Delete ALL the content located on your SD:/install/ folder. Repeat the steps for more games.
  89. Exit the Homebrew Launcher or reboot your console and your games will be on the home menu!
  90.
  91.
  92. [h] Error messages[/h]
  93. You can't install games you didn't buy: This is NOT an anti-piracy check. It's an incorrect message for "missing file in the install folder".
  94. You are missing files in your install folder! Verify your download, it's either incomplete or corrupted. use JNUSTool to "resume" the download and complete the files. Verify your ticket is named "title.tik".
  95. - Update WUP installer mod by XenoCube to "Wup installer mod Y".
  96. - Update JNUStool to get the missing title.cert file.
  97.
  98. MCP_installgetinfo error: restart your console and try again.
  99. If it's still not working, your install folder may not be correct.
  100. If you use WUP Installer mod Y, be sure to put all of your files inside a subfolder:
  101. SD:/install/Your game folder name/*.app *.h3 title.tik title.tmd title.cert here
  102.
  103. If you use any other WUP installer, do not create a sub folder!
  104. SD:/install/ .app .h3 here!
  105.
  106. 0xFFFB (content related?)
  107. error 0xFFFBF3E2: Missing install folder. Put the "install" folder on the ROOT of your SD card, and make sure you don't have multiple subfolders. SD:/Install/
  108. error 0xFFFBF43F: Wrong title type. Verify your ticket, it's probably not edited, or missing.
  109. Verify you are trying to install a full game and not an update with a full game ticket or a DLC. Your titleID should start with 00050000, NOT 0005000C or 0005000E.
  110. error 0xFFFBF440: ?
  111. error 0xFFFBF441: DLC ticket not for this console (no it's not possible to install DLC, they are tied to a console/NNID account.)
  112. error 0xFFFBF442: ?
  113. error 0xFFFBF446: Missing or bad title.tik
  114. error 0xFFFBF664: ?
  115. error 0xFFFBF825: Incomplete or corrupted encrypted files. Check that your game can be decrypted correctly (with Cdecrypt or JNUSTool) and doesn't produce "bad checksum" and/or 0 byte files.
  116. error 0xFFFBFFE7: Same as F825.
  117. for all FFFB errors, verify your files are good and complete. Your ticket is the correct file for your game, etc. Look HERE for information how to check your game files.
  118. You can "check and resume" your current files by running JNUStool again. if it's not the program you used, check here how to verify your files.
  119.
  120. 0xFFFC (Console/Device related?)
  121. error 0xFFFCFFE4: Not enough space on selected device.
  122. error 0xFFFCFFE5: unplug your USB (even if you are not installing on USB). if you are installing on USB, unplug/re-plug it and try again.
  123. error 0xFFFCFFE9: Access failed (no usb storage attached). If you have USB connected, try another port. Try another HDD. try to reformat it.
  124. error 0xFFFCFFEA: ? Shutdown and restart your console. it could help.
  125.
  126. 0xFFFF (unknown. seems to break while installing. Probably SD card issue. Try a different SD card)
  127. error 0xFFFFF825: ? re-format your SD Card. 32k/cluster might help (not sure). It could be a fragmentation issue too, but format it instead of defragmenting a flash drive. NEVER defrag a flash drive.
  128. error 0xFFFFF82E: ?
  129.
