[19:06] <~LuckyLeaf> Between blood tests and residue from empty syringes you discover it was a clashing mix of chems, some produced from local alchemical ingredients, but lacking any trace of the forest curse. It's a combination of steroids and physical enhancers with neurosuppressors and the conflicting reaction caused a shutdown on the raiders bodies. Not only they are in coma, but they are suffering brain damage from it. Your combined efforts are enough to figure
[19:06] <~LuckyLeaf> out a possible antidote, but these being raiders...
[19:10] <Full_Physical> "Do you have access to the chemicals we need to cure them, Sotho?"
[19:11] <Ignis> "What would be the point, though?"
[19:12] <Full_Physical> "So we can wake them up and question them."
[19:13] * Firefly looks over at the raiders, and, being bored, starts to braid their manes and tails.
[19:13] * Ignis sighs. "Didnt you heard him out? They got brain damage, big time... Irreversible... It'be a chance in a million to extract something coherent from them,
[19:13] * Swiss_Provolone tips his hat down, "I don't like wasting useful materials on raiders... Is it anything we can go without?"
[19:14] <Ignis> * let aside, something useful"
[19:14] * Sotho hmms and thinks. "I'm not sure if I do, but what honestly is the point in curing them, they are simply raiders."
[19:15] <Full_Physical> "I doubt that we can know the extent of the brain damage before they regain conciousness."
[19:16] <Ignis> "They are raiders...probably didnt won any intelectual awards even before the drugs..." The dragon shakes his head. "Its a waste of time, likely."
[19:17] <Full_Physical> "Even if they're too dumb to string a sentence together when they wake up, at least we'll know if the antidote works. It could be useful later."
[19:19] <Ignis> "And you would think one antidote fits all variable cocktail of drugs...I believe they are unique in this regard, just stray experiments and we wont see any other with the same chem countage."
[19:20] * Swiss_Provolone "Either way is fine with me, not like we'll keep 'em too long after we finish with them anyhow."
[19:20] * Sotho sighs and nods. "Well then I'll need the ingridents, do you think you all could find them for me?"
[19:22] * Ignis grins loopsidedly. "Grocery shopping? Yeah, I think we can manage that...." The dragon says. "Well...either way, shouldnt do too much harm being overzealous, I suppose"
[19:26] <Full_Physical> "Yeah, sure. Know where I can buy Mint-als in this town?"
[19:28] <Ignis> "Chroma should have a few to spare on her stock..." as he says it, his eyes rest upon the mare, grinning endearingly.
[19:30] <~LuckyLeaf> Chroma's ear twitch and she looks up with a smile. "Oh, do you need something?" She asks Ignis.
[19:30] * Sotho blinks and looks to Ignis. "Should I remain here for you all to get the ingridents?"
[19:31] * Swiss_Provolone shakes his head "I can stand watch, go ahead and gather what you need."
[19:33] <~LuckyLeaf> Firefly spies with her little eye a merchant trotting across the crossing of this unsafe area.
[19:33] * Firefly smiles and stops the braiding. They'll be fine! She flies out of the house and waves to the merchant. "Hi!"
[19:34] * Ignis smiles back at her and leans his claw to scritch her chin softly. "A couple of mint-als, if you could spare...and two healing potions as well, though those...I imagine you would need those, so no point on asking..." The dragon thinks over a bit. "maybe you could point us where to find somepony else that can supply it or whenever we need to brew it...could work too..."
[19:35] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant hops back startled. "...oh! Hello... what are you doing here?"
[19:36] <Full_Physical> "We're going to need about 6 doses of mint-als" Full Physical adds
[19:36] * Firefly smiles, landing. "Oh, just guarding some raiders to make sure no bad guys come and mess with them. What are you doing here?"
[19:37] * Ignis blinks a bit. "oh, what he said."
[19:38] <~LuckyLeaf> "I should have some." She opens the cabinet and puts some Mint-Als on a tin. "What happened to those ponies?" She says, giving them to Ignis.
[19:40] <~LuckyLeaf> "I am just going to Last Stop for supplies." The merchant says.
[19:41] * Ignis looks at them for a bit. "Raiders, they are loaded on a fuckton mix of odd chems and got into coma...their brains are deteriorating while onto it and such..." He states. "I imagine it has everything to do with that transmission I showed you the other day."
[19:41] * Swiss_Provolone looks into his bags and levitates out two healing potions, "I have some potions we could use, granted I was hoping on keeping them for emergencies..."
[19:43] <~LuckyLeaf> Firefly notices this is not the right way to Last Stop. He was heading south and Last Stop is east of Freedom Mound
[19:44] <Full_Physical> "I have five more, but it's not an emergency, I can buy more when we're done."
[19:44] * Firefly nods. "Well... if you keep going this way you'll miss it. Want a guide and a guard? I can take you there!" The filly poses heroically.
[19:45] <~LuckyLeaf> Chroma ponders. "Do you think so? Why would they be involved with these ponies? They are dangerous..."
[19:47] <Ignis> "Raiders are expendable" The dragon says wisely. "While trying to train them for laborwork would be costy, they are nice lab rats for chem testing, I imagine."
[19:47] <~LuckyLeaf> "Well what would you know, you are right! So... where should I be going?" The merchant asks.
[19:47] * Sotho rolls his eyes at Ignis's suggestion, he then thinks a bit more, it would help his potion and poison brewing process...
[19:48] * Firefly points east. "Its that way. What do you sell? Do you sell Daring Do stuff?"
[19:48] <Ignis> "I can see why they would do so..."
[19:52] <~LuckyLeaf> "I'm sorry, I don't have that. Maybe next time." The merchant turns east. "Bye filly, get somewhere safe, will ya."
[19:52] <Full_Physical> "He is suggesting that someone *else* has been using them as labrats, right?" Full_Physical asks Swiss
[19:53] * Firefly nods. "Don't worry Mister, Batmare protects all the good ponies!"
[19:53] <Swiss_Provolone> "Probably not."
[19:54] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant takes a street east and gets out of sight.
[19:55] * Firefly is ever curious... and let's face it, the raider's are out like a light. The filly darts back inside the house where the raiders are stored...
[19:55] <Sotho> "So all we need is some 6 health potions and a sample of each of their blood."
[19:55] * Firefly is now known as The_Batmare
[19:56] * The_Batmare sneaks out of the house and up to the rooftops, starting toward the east and looking for the mysterious merchant.
[19:57] * Ignis claws over the meds to Physical distractedly. "Still, I think that they want to do more than just have a more efficient workforce at the quarry...I cant quite put a finger on what, but...they have the potential and the knowledge to do terrible, terrible things, Chroma..." He voices. "You heard them out blaring about ponies just like they were cattle to be played on and such...no good can come from it, this must be just the tip of the ice
[19:59] * Full_Physical accepts the meds
[20:00] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant is headed south again.
[20:00] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant is none the wiser to The_Batmare's pursuit
[20:01] * The_Batmare continues to sneak along the roof tops. Well, this is interesting... more so than guarding a bunch of unconscious, braided, raiders, that is.
[20:01] * Full_Physical gives Sotho 6 Mint-als and 5 health potions
[20:03] <~LuckyLeaf> After walking a few more blocks, the merchant seems to be headed towards a large cloaked figure.
[20:04] * The_Batmare decides to stay back... she doesn't need to listen in... she can always question the merchant later!
[20:10] * Sotho starts work on all of the antidote process
[20:11] <~LuckyLeaf> After a few moments the cloaked figure moves away and the merchant turns back north
[20:12] * The_Batmare frowns for a moment... and decides to keep following the merchant.
[20:14] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant trots back, seeming to head towards Freedom Mound.
[20:16] * The_Batmare flies away... back toward the scrapyard and the mansion. This won't be solved by fiercely smashing hooves, no... Miss Lace might be able to shed some light on things.
[20:16] * Sotho applies the antidote to the raiders near him and gives the rest to the others for transport.
[20:17] * Royal_Lace deposits her travel bags down near the door and calls out to the house, "is anypony home?"
[20:17] * Full_Physical aids in administering the drug
[20:18] * The_Batmare lands behind Royal_Lace. "Can I borrow you?"
[20:20] * Royal_Lace blinks, looking back at firefly. "Oh, um is it awefuly important?"
[20:21] <~LuckyLeaf> After a few moments, one of the raiders open their eyes, blinking and covering their eyes from the light. "Uuugh... where?"
[20:22] <The_Batmare> "There was a merchant who met someone near raider territory. Someone big, and being awfully careful to keep there identity concealed... he's heading to Freedom Mound." The batfilly nods to Royal_Lace.
[20:22] * Sotho nods lightly. "You were poisoned by something, we've managed to save you."
[20:22] <Full_Physical> "Uh... rightfully I don't know. What's this town called again?"
[20:23] * Royal_Lace blinks again, "And how do you know this?"
[20:23] * Swiss_Provolone quickly levitates his pistol to his eye and keeps it pointed at the Raiders
[20:23] * The_Batmare nods. "Because I'm the Batmare... and I followed him."
[20:24] <Sotho> "I don't think it's smart to say the name of it yet."
[20:25] * Royal_Lace sighs, "Well I had hoped to speak with Nick Nack about a picnic with Perpermint, but if you think this is important I can spare some time I suppose"
[20:25] * The_Batmare nods. "I just don't want any of the drugs those raiders took getting into the settlement."
[20:26] * Royal_Lace looks more alert, "Im sorry, drugs?"
[20:26] <Full_Physical> "Fair enough. Sorry pal, I can;t tell you where."
[20:27] * The_Batmare nods. "Yeah... they are some of those raiders from the arena. Apparently they cheat."
[20:27] <~LuckyLeaf> The first raider to wake up is a rust colored earth pony, athletic build with a mohawk red mane. "...I... feel like... what was that called again? Ugh... " He puts a hoof to his head.
[20:28] * Royal_Lace grabs her bags again, "Alrighty you have my attention, can you fly me to wherever this pony is?",she asks as she turns into a small rabit and jumps on her back.
[20:29] * The_Batmare nods and takes off, heading for Freedom Mound.
[20:29] <Sotho> "Shit." He syas nodding. "You feel like shit. The drug was designed to kill your braincells. In otherwords, it made you stupider."
[20:31] <~LuckyLeaf> "That... sucks." He looks at the group with his gaze vaguely unfocused. "You... wait. There's something I should be doing..."
[20:31] * Sotho looks back at him. "And what might that be?"
[20:32] <Swiss_Provolone> "If its what I think you mean, I would reconsider." he says, still levitating his pistol
[20:33] <Full_Physical> "I'll be tending to the others, anyone want to come with me?"
[20:33] <Ignis> "Weaving baskets with flowery embroidery" The dragon suggests innocently.
[20:35] <~LuckyLeaf> He holds his head. "...I can't remember. Something... it was a big deal." He stares at Swiss_Provolone. "What? You... know what it was?" He blinks. "Why are you pointing that at me? Wait... no I get nothing." He blinks at Ignis. "Roid-what?"
[20:36] <~LuckyLeaf> Soon The_Batmare and Royal_Lace are at Freedom Mound and they spot the merchant she saw.
[20:36] * The_Batmare lands, nodding in the direction of the merchant.
[20:36] * Ignis glares at the raider. "Who are you?"
[20:37] * Sotho looks ot ignis. "I'll come with you Full, just to work on the other raiders properly.
[20:38] <Full_Physical> "All right. Swiss, what do you want us to do with the others when we revive them."
[20:38] <~LuckyLeaf> "Ducker. That's my name." The raider says.
[20:39] <~LuckyLeaf> The second raider opens their eyes and closes them again.
[20:39] * Swiss_Provolone momentarily turns to Full_Physical, "Keep them guarded and have a chat, if you like. Just don't let them leave just yet."
[20:41] * Ignis discretely examines the raider's cutie mark
[20:41] * Royal_Lace hopps off and poofs back to her normal self
[20:41] * Royal_Lace looks to firefly, "and you are sure this vender has something to do with ilicit drug dealings?"
[20:42] * The_Batmare shakes her head. "No. I'm just curious why they met with a shady individual in Raider territory."
[20:43] <Full_Physical> "All right, just don't keep us waiting too long." Full Physical turns away and heads for the door
[20:43] * Royal_Lace nods, well lets go have a talk then.
[20:45] * Royal_Lace trots up to the merchant, looking closely to see if she recognizes him or her from around the area.
[20:45] * The_Batmare nods and follows, her mask and costume still on.
[20:45] <~LuckyLeaf> Ducker's cutie mark is a shovel jammed into a skull.
[20:45] * Full_Physical walks back to the place where he left the other raiders
[20:46] * Swiss_Provolone turns his gaze and his pistol to the other raider, "And who is your friend? Or can they speak for themselves?"
[20:48] * Ignis gives a little nod. "Say, Ducker..." The dragon starts, amiably. "Are you much of an animal pony? You like them critters, by chance?"
[20:49] <~LuckyLeaf> The second raider babbles something incoherent.
[20:50] * Swiss_Provolone sighs, "I don't think we got the antidote to this one in time."
[20:51] * Full_Physical administers the drug to the remaining raiders
[20:51] <~LuckyLeaf> "That's... uh... Razor... something." Ducker turns to Ignis. "What? What you mean?" He still seems confused.
[20:52] <~LuckyLeaf> Royal Lace doesn't remember this merchant from the slaves or mudponies, but she remembers seeing him at Last Stop once.
[20:53] * Ignis blinks a bit, and starts to rephrase the question, speaking slower. "Animals, cute ones...you like pets? "
[20:54] <~LuckyLeaf> The raiders start to open their eyes. All of them seem confused but seem to be recovering.
[20:55] * Royal_Lace smiles brightly as she approches the merchant, "Hello, sorry to bother you but could I trouble you for a moment to look at your wares sir?"
[20:57] <~LuckyLeaf> "They... food. Yeah, they are good food." Ducker says.
[20:57] <Full_Physical> "Hello there my friends. I have just revived you from some kind of drug induced coma. Some friends of mine are going to want to talk to you so just sit tight for the time being."
[20:58] <Ignis> "I see..." The dragon grins. "What about dogs? They must give you some trouble."
[20:59] * The_Batmare stays silent, letting Lace work her magic.
[21:01] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant looks at Lace. "I'm sorry lass, but I'm almost out of stock. I have a healing potion and some Med-X if you want."
[21:02] <~LuckyLeaf> One of the raiders grunts angrily at Full_Physical but then clutches their head.
[21:02] <Full_Physical> "So, what brings you here?" Full Physical asks the raiders in a friendly tone
[21:04] <~LuckyLeaf> "Dogs? Trouble? ...no... dogs no trouble. Arbiter... said something." Ducker rubs his head. "...important."
[21:04] * Royal_Lace waves a hoof, "Oh thats alright, I just thought you may have something diffrent than I could find here in town since last I saw you was at last stop. You wouldnt happen to by trying to open a active trade line would you?"
[21:06] <~LuckyLeaf> "Yes, yes I would. This town is very promising." The merchant says, looking away. "I should restock soon."
[21:06] <Swiss_Provolone> "Something important? Are you sure you can't remember?"
[21:06] <Ignis> "Is Arbiter nice to you? Is he the one that makes your meals? " The dragon questions, somewhat curious.
[21:08] * Royal_Lace smiles, "thats wonderful, Actually im a bit of a local entrapure of sorts. I dont suppose you could tell me more about your trade services could you? Im always looking for oportunities to invest"
[21:09] <~LuckyLeaf> "Arbiter is... strong. The rules for... there was something. And then he gives... stuff. " He struggles to think.
[21:09] * Swiss_Provolone mutters to Ignis, "Think we should give him a Mintal? Might loosen his memory..."
[21:10] <Ignis> "Colorful stuff?"
[21:10] * Ignis shakes his head.
[21:10] <~LuckyLeaf> "Fight!" One of the chained raiders shouts, dashing only to have the chain keep them in place.
[21:11] <Full_Physical> "I wouldn't advise that, you'll find that your weapons have been taken."
[21:16] <~LuckyLeaf> "Oh, I'm gauging the interest in... alchemical supplements and farmacological solutions. I saw that you have a clinic here." The merchant says
[21:17] <~LuckyLeaf> That raider keeps pulling the chain. Another one raises his head. "Points?"
[21:19] * Royal_Lace nods, "We do though you would have to talk to the head of our clinic if you were wanting to cater to it, otherwise I could also point out a local lab that could perhapse help with local manufactioring to cut back on transporation costs"
[21:22] <~LuckyLeaf> "I'm not really the one making this. I'm just the salespony." The merchant says.
[21:23] * Swiss_Provolone sighs, still whispering to Ignis, "What should we do with them? Think we'll get anything good or just get rid of them and try the other four?"
[21:24] * Ignis glares at Swiss and whispers back to the pony. "This one is into something, he is even cooperating...sort of."
[21:25] * The_Batmare sits back and watches the exchange.
[21:26] * Royal_Lace nods, "Alright then, well I would be interested in investing to see this place grow but I would of course like to see a sample of your wares before donating any of my caps. Do you think you could manage this?"
[21:27] * Swiss_Provolone keeps his voice low, "Cooperating, yes. But he seems to have lost a few too many brain cells... assuming he had them in the first place. Keep trying for now, but we may need a plan B"
[21:28] * Ignis nods.
[21:32] <Ignis> "The stuff he gives, Ducker...is it colorful?"
[21:33] <~LuckyLeaf> "Sorry, I can't give out samples. A pony has to make a living, you know." The merchant shakes his head.
[21:34] <~LuckyLeaf> "Yes?" Ducker says.
[21:35] <Ignis> "The Arbiter has friends?"
[21:36] * Royal_Lace smiles, "I understand, another time maybe then". Turning she trots away.
[21:37] <~LuckyLeaf> "What's that?" Ducker asks
[21:37] <~LuckyLeaf> The merchant turns and trots away as well
[21:38] * The_Batmare follows behind Lace. "So... what now?"
[21:38] <Ignis> "People who visit and talk to him every now and then." The dragon informs
[21:38] <Full_Physical> "So... do *none* of you want to talk to me?" Full Physical asks the raiders
[21:39] * Sotho looks to the Raiders. "What about me?"
[21:40] <~LuckyLeaf> "Fight!" The same raider shouts. Another one asks "Talk?"
[21:40] * Royal_Lace shrugs as she rubs her head, "I dont know dear, im sorry but I had a rather... draining experiance earlier today. He seems normal enough to me, can you tell me more about who you saw him with?"
[21:41] * Sotho nods. "Talk, speak."
[21:43] <~LuckyLeaf> "Everyone talks to the Arbiter, because... something." Ducker says.
[21:45] <Ignis> "Is there anypony else who helps the Arbiter do...something?"
[21:46] <~LuckyLeaf> "Speak what?" One raider says.
[21:46] <Full_Physical> "Yes, talk." Full Physical says to the raider who asked. "Can you describe your day to me? What you remember before waking up?"
[21:48] <~LuckyLeaf> "Fuck!" A raider says and laughs.
[21:49] <~LuckyLeaf> "Uh... winners. We got special chem." One of them says
[21:50] <~LuckyLeaf> "There's a door. I dunno." Ducker says
[21:51] * Sotho blinks. "Winners? Of what?"
[21:51] * Swiss_Provolone "Sure 'bout those mintals?"
[21:52] * The_Batmare nods. "They kept pretty covered up, but... it was about the size of a hellhound."
[21:52] <Ignis> "He is already saturated with chems...thats like trying to put down a fire with gasoline, Swiss."
[21:53] <Swiss_Provolone> "Could use the mental boost though."
[21:53] <~LuckyLeaf> "Fight!" A raider lunges senselessly again. "Oh yeah." Another says.
[21:54] <Ignis> "That might leave him uncooperative...and even more useless."
[21:55] * Royal_Lace blinks, "That... sounds like trouble, could you fly me to where you saw this so we can look around?"
[21:55] <Full_Physical> "I'm starting to think we should have brought more Mint-als"
[21:56] * Sotho shrugs lightly. "Well we don't know how much brain they lost, and some of them might already be pretty deprived."
[21:56] * Swiss_Provolone shakes his head, "I don't somepony around here knows how to pull memories or read minds?

[21:57] * The_Batmare nods. "Be ready for any trouble... its raider territory."
[21:57] * Ignis sighs and stares at the raider once more. "So...you must be good at digging, from your mark...you're what, ducker? An archeologist? A miner? A grave digger? "
[21:58] <~LuckyLeaf> "Trap guy." He says.
[21:59] * Royal_Lace poofs into a bunny again and jumps on.
[21:59] <Full_Physical> "Winners?" Full Physical asks the raiders

[22:02] <Ignis> "You're any good at it?"
[22:02] <Full_Physical> "Cool! What did you win?"
[22:05] <~LuckyLeaf> "Needles! Sweet needles!" One of the raiders says.
[22:05] * The_Batmare takes off, heading for where the meeting occurred at.
[22:05] <~LuckyLeaf> "Course." Ducker says
[22:07] <Ignis> "The Arbiter likes your traps?"
[22:09] <~LuckyLeaf> "Yeah!"
[22:09] * Royal_Lace wonders if she shoudnt work on a bunny sized filly saddle.
[22:10] <Ignis> "Maybe he wanted you to lay a trap for someone...?"
[22:11] <~LuckyLeaf> "He did?" Ducker asks.
[22:13] <Ignis> "Did he? "
