  1. “If I’m reincarnated into another world, I hope that I’ll be able to meet you there too.”
  2.
  3. “I love Nayuta fruits… but I think I have finally found something that I like just as much… or even more. Heh…”
  4.
  5. “Hey… You won’t just disappear on me one day will you?”
  6.
  7. “Thank you… for everything, Judas.”
  8.
  9. Those words echoed through the mind of a young man waking him up from his slumber. He had awoken in a cave in the tundra; away from the icy winds as the fire he had made crackles. His battleaxe lied next to him and his outer layer of clothing set close enough to the fire to dry. His eye patch still strapped on his head and covering his right eye that has long lost its use. From his dream, he could remember those words, but not the faces or names of those who spoke them. In fact, even the name ‘Judas’ was losing its worth to him every time he heard it.
  10.
  11. He knows that this isn’t the first time he’s lived, but when he appeared in the world he’s in now, there was no fairy to accompany him or world to save. He found himself alone and his memories of his previous life coming even closer to complete erasure. Afraid that the next time he falls asleep will be the last of his old memories, he stays awake and watches the snow fall outside and pour into the cave he was in just a bit.
  12.
  13. From what he is able to recall from the memories he has left, he kept telling himself one piece of information in a desperate attempt to never lose it.
  14.
  15. “I am Judas.”
  16.
  17. He knew it was a desperate attempt and that his name, like his body and few belongings, was anchored to his soul. But his memories of his actions, places he’s been to, and people he’s met have all disappeared or are soon enough being erased and he’ll restart once again once he dies or after a few days.
  18.
  19. But soon enough, he had fallen asleep once more despite his attempts to stay awake, he wouldn’t be able to notice it, but at that moment, he lost his memories of the words that were in his dream. He’ll wake up later knowing that he had lost those memories, but won’t be able to recall what they possibly could have been. He’ll wake up with no true memories of his past and of only of a recent past. He’ll wake up and know that he’s all that remains of the man that was called Judas.
