[02:11am] AvidElite: A QC is supposed to catch mistakes I make, but keep my style.  he changed half the script to make it his own style.

[02:14am] AvidElite: I prefer a hybrid literal and meaningful translation. He tries to Americanize more.
[02:17am] MarukoM: What about that A- grade the ep received in Whiners? You think it would've been an A+ if Virus didn't interfere with it?
[02:18am] AvidElite: I think I don't give a shit what grade we get from anyone. I know what I can do, and what I can't, and where I need to improve.
[02:20am] MarukoM: Where do you think you need to improve? I'm thinking of maybe reading up a bit more on it and maybe become an editor later on.
[02:21am] AvidElite: Each character needs a style. Like obviously Hina talks different then the rest. But there are words Sora will use that Miu doesn't. That the guy will use that none of the girls do. Maintain that in the lines.
[02:22am] AvidElite: There are odd turns of phrase that I don't catch that sm2345 does.  We usually go back and forth during the QC process.  I like QCing with him.  He doesn't call me an idiot for missing something, or when we discuss a line.
