Oh god, the /r/gaming incident. It makes me cringe every time. Moving on to ASC's behavior. We can be certain that it won't happen again because I have now stepped in. I was recently recruited into his design team about a month ago and I had no involvement in any of his previous altercations. Due to my competence and my ability to learn extremely fast, I was put in charge of working on the visuals of the subs he moderates AKA added as a mod. Now that this whole situation has arisen, I have no choice but to step in. I now see how stress affects ASC and his work ethic. From here on out, ASC will no longer have the need to comment for others because I will be delivering the messages between the community and ASC. Furthermore, I believe my assessment skills are of higher caliber due to my training as an IT help desk analyst. I believe my ability to keep calm during a storm is extremely helpful. That being said, if any future situation arise, I will be in the front lines, taking in all feedback and correctly addressing them without malice.

To the next topic of ASC's stress. He does seem to be under a lot of stress. This is apparent in his tone when we talk in Teamspeak to other members of /r/Nisekoi. While a lot of people might not know this, I would just like to put out there that the members of our Teamspeak have worked hard to lower ASC's stress levels. By playing games with him, snapchatting each other funny pictures, and discussing anime/manga together, it gets his mind off of the drama and the schoolwork that gives him a lot of stress (not saying he shouldn't do his homework; It's his fault for procrastinating for so long).

I can see and understand why he isn't suited to moderator such a large quantity of subs. That being said, I will talk to him and make sure I take on a larger role to relieve him of some of his duties.

I can also agree that these are just human errors. Xaftz, sopahero, sigmastorm, Riseofpix, and many others have already spoken to him about his behavior on Teamspeak. While I do believe his actions were childish and extremely disrespectful in some cases, I also do believe we should forgive him. In my eyes, this is the first big mistake he has made and I believe he deserves a second chance.

Moving on with the alternate accounts, ASC denies that those are alternate accounts. We cannot prove whether or not, 100% accurately, that he owns said accounts. I agree that mods should not receive special treatment and are a representation of the community. Furthermore, I also agree that mods should accept a larger penalty due to their position. The ban hammer is an ultimatum and an absolute last resort. I do not like dropping the ban hammer and since this is that account's first offense combined with the fact there is no accurate way of proving that isn't an alternate account, I will be issuing an official warning to him in regards to his behavior as of yesterday. This is his first and last warning. If he is to ever show that kind of disrespect again in the face of this community, I will drop the ban hammer. I agree that a ban and boot is appropriate when a ban and boot is necessary and I do not believe that this, being his first offense, deserves a ban.

Do not fret. I know your intentions are good and that this isn't name calling. We are civil human beings and we should act like it. I am fulled with joy that you took the time to write to me, via PM, such kind words and great input. I hope my moderation will be about a solution that satisfies everyone.
