  6. What is Trance ?

  10. Most ponies don't actually know what a trance state is, so one of the first things I do in a personal session I inform form them of this, and let them experience a brief, light, relaxing, trance.

  21. Ponies natural fall in and out of trances all the time so the best tip is to not force a trancestate or think you're doing it wrong, you'll hinder your progress if you do

  29. Trancestate is different for everypony, so this is just a general list of common effects

  31. Feelings of relaxation
  32. Increased focus
  33. Rushing sensation or numbness or apprehension (in deep trances)
  34. Warm feels

  36. Sense of distortion of time, AKA Trancehole
  37. Increased swallowing or dry-mouth
  38. Dilated or constricted pupils
  39. Change in heart-rate
  40. Sweating
  41. Dizziness
  42. Twitches
  43. Cramps

  46. What should I do in Trance ?

  48. Just enjoy yourself, soon to be pony, relax and let your mind wander, if you feel the need to twitch or scratch, do it and don't feel bad about it, Just do what feels natural to you and you will be pone'd before you know it.

  56. What can help me trance better ?

  58. Go to the bathroom, eat before trancing. the reasons are obvious.

  60. Hypno: "you now can't seem to move."
  61. Stomach: "Screw that, Let's get a sandwich."

  63. Set a mood, control the lighting, light those candles, dim your screen or turn it off completely. listen to some calming music beforehand.

  65. When upset or distracted, or otherwise emoting, trancing can be more difficult, most of the time. tend to avoid this as you might not be happy with your sessions.

  67. Control your use of Psychoactives, and experiment if you want to. This includes Caffeine and Alcohol, (Caffeine for obvious reasons, Alcohol because it sometimes suppresses the brainwave pattern responses we want to create for the hypnosis to be effective (eg. dreamless drunken sleep) Everypony responds to substances differently, know your body, know your mind, know your chemical and know your limits.

Make a schedule and stick to it, Make an effort to consciously trance at the same time each day, set aside time just to trance, maybe and hour or however long you want, let housemates/other know you do not want to be disturbed for a while. we are going for consistency here doing something at the same time will help your brain recognize it's time to do something (Like going to bed at the same time each night, it's easier to get to sleep when you do this, same with trancing.)

Good over-ear headphones with a nice frequency response (Highly Recommended!), they should be comfy and easy to wear, and not made of plastic, I broke a pair of over-ears that didn't have bracing metal in them and they broke. The Panasonic RP-HTX7's work nicely (They aren't to badly priced either, stylish too) Only issues is the short cord length.

  75. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work the first time- it most likely won't. Perseverance wins the battle, so just keep trying.

  81. What is permapone ?

  83. A lot of ponies have a misconception about what permapone exactly is. Most think that you are full pone from the show with no control and no change-backs. This is not true at all!

  85. Permapone is like a gradated spectrum with full quadruped pone with just the show personality on one end, anthro in the middle and your human self on the other end. you can choose whatever point you want to be at, whenever you want and switch between points instantly.

  99. Common HypnoPony Terms

  101. BGM- Background music is included with that particular Hypno File

  103. Induction- A short relaxation excersize that helps you to drop into Trancestate

  105. Binurals- Slightly different tones placed through an indivual channel in your headphones, delivered by carrier wave, used to make your brain resonate at different frequencies, to produce different wavelength patterns. for example Trancestate

  107. Anthro- Short for Anthropomorphic.

  109. Tulpa- Your plastic pal that's fun to be with. (Just Kidding) A Tulpa is like an Imaginary friend but it can think and act for itself, it will change and grow, just as you do, because you are both thinking beings, it can be imposed upon your reality in a Auto Hallucinatory Body

  111. Impo or Imposition- the process of forcing changes on your reality

  113. Looping- The process of looping a file during day or night, just barely audible, to increase susceptibility and the effects/effectiveness of the hypnosis.
