  61. Listening Question Types (these are often divided differently in different books)
  62. - main idea (topic or purpose)
  63. - detail (similar to reading fact questions)
  64. - inference (similar to reading inference)
  65. - purpose (similar to reading purpose)
  66. - attitude (How does the speaker feel?)
  67. - prediction (What will the speaker(s) do next?)
  68. - function/replay (Listen again. What does the speaker mean when he says this?)
  69. - complete a chart or table (multi-part detail question)

  71. Listening is divided into sets of two or three listenings:
  72. long set = 1 conversation (5Q), 1 lecture (6Q), 1 discussion(6Q), 10 minutes to choose answers
  73. short set = 1 conversation, 1 lecture or discussion, 6.5 minutes to choose answers

  75. You will have 1 long set and 1 or 2 short sets on your test.
  76. You have to answer the questions in order. You can’t return to earlier questions. You won’t see any questions during the listening.
