  1. Weapon System Proposal
  2.
  3. The weapon system will be handled in the vaguest practical terms regarding weapon types. If you want to use lawn chairs or umbrellas as your weapon, you're welcome to try! The only mechanical difference between weapons deals with MELEE and RANGED weapons.
  4.
  5. Ranged Weapons have a range of 30 meters, and a minimum distance of 4 meters.
  6. Melee Weapons have a range of 1 meter only.
  7.
  8. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  9.
  10. Damage Base 1 = 1d10+4
  11. Damage Base 2 = 1d12+6
  12. Damage Base 3 = 2d8+6
  13. Damage Base 4 = 2d10+8
  14. Damage Base 5 = 3d8+10
  15. Damage Base 6 = 3d10+12
  16. Damage Base 7 = 3d12+14
  17.
  18. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. Arms User
  21. Prerequisite: Gifted - EVERYONE
  22. Static
  23. Effect: Your AC check for Arms features is AC6. Whenever you deal damage with an ARMS FEATURE, add the highest of your STR, DEX, or CON modifiers.
  24. Whenever you use an Arms feature, you deal [Damage Base 1] damage.
  25. If you are level 10 or higher, you deal [Damage Base 2] damage instead.
  26. If you are level 15 or higher, you deal [Damage Base 3] damage instead.
  27.
  28. Weapon of Choice
  29. Prerequisite: Trainer
  30. Static
  31. Effect: Choose a specific weapon type such as 'longsword', 'unarmed', or 'slingshot'. This becomes your "Weapon of Choice". You may take Weapon of Choice multiple times, each time choosing a new weapon.
  32. When using your Weapon of Choice, your AC check for Arms Features is AC4, and you deal [Damage Base 2] damage.
  33. If you are level 10 or higher, you deal [Damage Base 4] damage instead.
  34. If you are level 15 or higher, you deal [Damage Base 6] damage instead.
  35.
  36. Other -
  37. There's no other >:T ... arms modifier feats are OUT!
  38.
  39. NOTES:
  40. Unless affected by a Sun Stone, or the "Sword of Sun and Moon" Feature, Arms attacks always deal Physical damage.
  41.
  42. Unarmed Combat: "Unarmed" is affected by 'Arms User' and by 'Weapon of Choice', but specifically means that you are not using any material weapons, and thus you cannot have a crafted weapon for 'unarmed'.
  43.
  44. Thrown Weapons: Weapons fluffed as "Thrown" are simply Melee Weapons. They still have a range of 1 Meter. The abilities of "Thrown" weapons are expanded upon by the Juggler Class.
