  4. [2012-07-21 17:13:00] <Zeph|GM> %C3The camp is still a bustle with activity, the bloodwing defenders switching out and going to their tents as they are switched out to sleep. Moonlight's Shimmer and Clipped Cantle have stayed up all night, lending their skills to Applejack's Rangers, the latter persisting on determination and luck.

  18. [2012-07-21 17:16:50] <Zeph|GM> %C3The activity in the medical tent has calmed a little, literally over night and has settled to a quiet bustle, pierced by occasional beeping sounds, the medics looking almost as bad as the potients.

  22. [2012-07-21 17:20:07] * Clipped_Cantle waves a hoof dismissively. "I'll be alright." She stifles a yawn, then nods to the medics in the tent. "Alright, see you all later."
  23. [2012-07-21 17:21:19] <Zeph|GM> %C3Ginger uncurls beside Precious, Fruitcake and Laurel, getting up to smell the smelly, new day, filled with the stench of unwashed ponies, medicine and blood. yum~
  24. [2012-07-21 17:22:22] * Clipped_Cantle looks at Moonlight`s_Shimmer. "Paladin Split said they'd let us in on the salvage operation today. Going to see when that's starting up."

  27. [2012-07-21 17:23:28] * Clipped_Cantle nods and heads out of the medical tent, heading for Paladin Split's.

  29. [2012-07-21 17:24:08] * Precious turns over, her face still stained with tears. SHe's groggy and half awake after a series of nightmares, but doesn't seem to have the energy to lift herself out of bed.
  30. [2012-07-21 17:24:36] * Kirengo wakes up because RPing him still asleep has become not the thing to do. He yawns loudly.
  31. [2012-07-21 17:26:12] * Blastwave looks over at Kirengo, "Are you awake? It is getting later."
  32. [2012-07-21 17:27:25] <Zeph|GM> %C3Ginger licks Precious' face, panting and trying to cheer her up.
  33. [2012-07-21 17:28:09] * Precious opens her eyes and manages to spare a smile for the dog that was as big as she was. She sighs and pats her head, then works herself into a sitting position to look at her aunt and cousin.
  34. [2012-07-21 17:28:17] * Clipped_Cantle pokes her head into Paladin Split's tent.
  35. [2012-07-21 17:28:36] <Zeph|GM> %C3Split is in his tent and is dismissing a group of two Rangers and one Scribe as Moonlight`s_Shimmer and Clipped_Cantle enter, "Ah, good morning."
  36. [2012-07-21 17:28:57] * Kirengo blinks and lifts his head up, still a bit groggy. "Later than what?"
  37. [2012-07-21 17:29:10] * Blastwave "Than it was."
  38. [2012-07-21 17:29:28] * Kirengo "It's always later than it was."
  39. [2012-07-21 17:29:45] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer looks down at Ranger Split "We believe it is good."
  40. [2012-07-21 17:30:07] * Clipped_Cantle steps into the tent, stifling another yawn. "Good morning. What're the plans for this salvage business? When's it start-" she yawns fully this time "Dammit. When's it start?"
  41. [2012-07-21 17:30:24] <Zeph|GM> %C3Fruitcake and Laurel are fast asleep, likely having stayed awake the entire night after Friendship City was attacked. Ginger gives a bark and licks Precious' face again, wagging her tail.

  43. [2012-07-21 17:30:27] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer is in the tent with Clipped
  44. [2012-07-21 17:30:45] * Kirengo furrows his brow. "Late for what?"
  45. [2012-07-21 17:31:05] * Precious can't help but smile at the dog's enthusiasm. It was certainly a welcome change. "Hey girl. You wanna go for a walk? I need some fresh air and to think."
  46. [2012-07-21 17:31:39] * Blastwave shrugs, "Whatever hell the wasteland has in store for us. Or whatever hell Clipped has in store for us. Either one."
  47. [2012-07-21 17:32:16] * Kirengo "Are the two really going to be that different?"
  48. [2012-07-21 17:32:52] <Zeph|GM> %C3Split nods at Clipped_Cantle and Moonlight`s_Shimmer in turn, "The first team is already on it's way," he says and points to the ponies exiting the tent, "You can head out once you've assembled; I'll send Ratchet with you."

  51. [2012-07-21 17:33:39] <Zeph|GM> %C3Ginger barks again and wags her tail at the prospect.
  52. [2012-07-21 17:33:56] * Clipped_Cantle nods. "Alright. Any chance we could get a bite to eat and such first?"
  53. [2012-07-21 17:34:01] * Kirengo nods. "Fun..." He rolls over off his back, falling off the bed and landing on his hooves. He stretches his body and this wings to their full lengths then stands upright and folds his wings at his sides. "You know where they are?"
  54. [2012-07-21 17:35:09] * Blastwave finds his wings fascinating, "Clipped went to the medical tent last night, and Moonlight thought it was a good idea to fight bats. I am not sure about precious, but if she has half a brain she went to bed. So probably not that."
  55. [2012-07-21 17:35:19] * Precious gets up off the cot and quickly dresses and gathers her things. She then trots out of the tent at a moderate pace and whistles for Ginger. She would let Fruitcake and Laurel sleep for now; knowing they had been through more of an ordeal than she had.

  58. [2012-07-21 17:36:20] * Clipped_Cantle smiles a little. "Great, thanks." She turns to Moonlight`s_Shimmer. "Best get moving."
  59. [2012-07-21 17:36:33] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer blinks "Of course."
  60. [2012-07-21 17:36:36] * Clipped_Cantle blinks.
  61. [2012-07-21 17:36:57] * Clipped_Cantle tilts her head. "You're stomach just growled, Moon."

  63. [2012-07-21 17:37:06] * Kirengo snerks, and says with a half chuckle, "That's not very nice..." He shakes his head and walks towards Blastwave and the entrance. "So... med tent it is?"

  66. [2012-07-21 17:37:41] * Blastwave smiles just a bit, "That'd be my guess," he starts into the camp
  67. [2012-07-21 17:38:07] * Clipped_Cantle facehoofs. "Not literally... that noise. Means you're hungry." She heads out Split's tent.
  68. [2012-07-21 17:38:23] <Zeph|GM> %C3Split blinks, "Well, ya should go an' grab some breckers before you head out; the lot of ya." He chuckles.
  69. [2012-07-21 17:38:44] * Clipped_Cantle waves to Split. "Yeah, we will, thanks."
  70. [2012-07-21 17:39:10] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer blinks...she did feel...different...but she never had to eat before..."Goodbye Split." she follows Clipped_Cantle
  71. [2012-07-21 17:39:38] * Precious does a couple laps around the camp with Ginger in tow, both to clear her head and let off steam. By the time she's finished, she realizes she's hungry, and stops trotting laps in order to look for wherever there might be some food. She wondered if Fruitcake and Laurel were up yet, but given how soundly they werw sleeping, probably not.
  72. [2012-07-21 17:39:56] * Kirengo gives a sigh to cover up a laugh. "Ah... that was good..." He follows Blastwave.
  73. [2012-07-21 17:40:41] * Blastwave snickers a little bit and looks around the camp. Oh look, Clipped_Cantle and Moonlight not at the medical tent, whoops. He heads over there
  74. [2012-07-21 17:41:42] * Clipped_Cantle yawns and nods to Blastwave and Kirengo. "Morning. You two up for some salvage?"
  75. [2012-07-21 17:42:04] * Precious encounters the rest of the group as she's looking for the food tent. She looks terrible; bits of makeup runoff, her face stained with tears, her hair completely unkempt. She also has a dog with her
  76. [2012-07-21 17:42:34] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer stares down at said dog
  77. [2012-07-21 17:42:46] * Clipped_Cantle nods to Precious as well. "Morning... what's with the dog?"
  78. [2012-07-21 17:43:06] <Moonlight`s_Shimmer> "We believe you have a giant pest following you."
  79. [2012-07-21 17:43:17] * Blastwave thinks that would answer the question of what hell was planned, "Sure. Why not." she looks at precious... and at the dog. "What is that? Some sort of monster?:
  80. [2012-07-21 17:44:04] <Zeph|GM> %C3Ginger tilts his head and whines at Moonlight`s_Shimmer, sniffing intently afterward.
  81. [2012-07-21 17:44:18] * Kirengo "Salvage what? And that's a dog... not a monster and not a pest."
  82. [2012-07-21 17:44:21] * Precious looks to Cantle; "Ginger. I was just taking her for a walk. She belongs to my aunt."
  83. [2012-07-21 17:44:58] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer blinks "It is smelling us. We are not food. If it attempts to eat us we will kill it."
  84. [2012-07-21 17:45:20] * Clipped_Cantle shrugs at Kirengo. "Whatever we can inside the city, I guess." She looks at Precious and smiles. "Your Aunt? So you're family made it!"
  85. [2012-07-21 17:45:24] * Blastwave looks over at Kirengo, "Whats a dog?"
  86. [2012-07-21 17:45:49] * Blastwave pauses and facehoofs, "Okay. That is a dog... I've just never seen one before. "
  87. [2012-07-21 17:46:12] <Zeph|GM> %C3Ginger shrinks away from Moonlight`s_Shimmer, trying to hide behind Precious ...and considering she's almost as big as the mare, it looks rather comical.

  89. [2012-07-21 17:47:12] * Precious looks sad; "She... used to belong to my friend Kiwi, but she died, and Ginger stuck with my Aunt and cousin. My uncle, other cousin and two mroe of my friends... didn't make it. One did, but he's missing a leg."
  90. [2012-07-21 17:47:17] * Kirengo looks back at Blastwave. "It's a pet. Equine's best friend. Except for when they're guard dogs or raised by raiders."
  91. [2012-07-21 17:47:47] * Kirengo looks up to Precious. "Oh wow. Sorry."
  92. [2012-07-21 17:47:50] * Clipped_Cantle winces. "Damn... sorry, Precious."
  93. [2012-07-21 17:47:50] * Precious looks back to Ginger; "She may be big, but she's sweet. She's not going to hurt anypony."
  94. [2012-07-21 17:47:57] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer continues to stare at the dog for a moment "It is afraid of us. We cannot blame it."
  95. [2012-07-21 17:48:01] * Blastwave nods slowly, "I see." He looks at Kirengo, "I am sorry for your loss."
  96. [2012-07-21 17:49:10] * Precious sighs; "I was out walking her to help clear my head after everything that's happened, now... I'm hungry. Kiwi used to cook..." fresh tears begin to form
  97. [2012-07-21 17:50:13] * Blastwave wonders why precious is crying about food, food is not sad
  98. [2012-07-21 17:50:48] * Kirengo blinks. Clearly the walk did not help clear her head. "Then let's go eat and not think about that."
  99. [2012-07-21 17:51:22] * Clipped_Cantle looks back and forth. "Uh... well, Split said we could eat in their tent over there..." She points.
  100. [2012-07-21 17:51:45] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer looks down at Precious with a sad expression for a moment, then at Kirengo "Yes...let us...'eat'."
  101. [2012-07-21 17:51:58] * Blastwave looks over at the tent, "Lets go. I love watching living ponies eat. It's so exciting. I say."
  102. [2012-07-21 17:53:28] * Clipped_Cantle heads over to the food tent.
  103. [2012-07-21 17:53:53] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer follows everyone to the food tent
  104. [2012-07-21 17:54:08] * Kirengo "You -can- eat you know, Blast. Radiation in the food and water might do you some good, unless it's being rationed." He turns and follows Clipped.
  105. [2012-07-21 17:55:40] * Blastwave follows after, "Other ponies would get more use out of it. Food hardly seems abundant, so it is pointless for me to eat for pleasure as others starve."
  106. [2012-07-21 17:55:54] * Precious nods and shuffles toward the mensa tent. Though the walk had not cleared her head, it did have her thinking. It was just a matter of what road her thoughts ventured down...
  107. [2012-07-21 17:56:37] * Kirengo "Well that's what I said about it being rationed... There's plenty of food -around-, just don't know how much of it is -here-."
  108. [2012-07-21 17:57:40] <Zeph|GM> %C3The second largest tent after the medical tent is serving as a mensa and on the inside smells strongly of warm food. Most of the tables are occupied by members of the Applejack's Rangers and evacuated Friendship City survivors alike. There are several free tables big enough fro the group to sit around, one of the occupied by the olive pegasus Moonlight`s_Shimmer had unwittingly knocked out...

  112. [2012-07-21 17:58:25] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer blinks, Blastwave had a point, if there wasn't enough food for those who needed it...and she wasn't even sure if she did or not...she never did before...
  113. [2012-07-21 18:00:43] * Clipped_Cantle 's mouth starts to water, and she yawns. "Smells good... but what I wouldn't give for some coffee right now..." She trots over to the food and looks it over.
  114. [2012-07-21 18:00:52] * Kirengo looks around after walking in. He heads over towards the kitchen, following the smell, and takes a look.

  118. [2012-07-21 18:04:22] <Zeph|GM> %C3There are several ponies working the kitchen, cooking unirradiated meals with various canned ingredients, herbs and water. There's no real distinction between breakfast and other meals, so it's all warm. One of the ponies, a buck, trots over to the group and asks, "What can I get you for?"

  120. [2012-07-21 18:05:57] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer looks at the buck uncertain "Is there enough food for all of us?"
  121. [2012-07-21 18:06:27] * Blastwave looks at Moonlight`s_Shimmer not entierlly sure what she means as she is constantly talking in plural"
  122. [2012-07-21 18:07:52] * Clipped_Cantle nods to the buck. "Yeah... some food. Something to drink too." She looks a bit uncertain. "Would you happen to have coffee?"
  123. [2012-07-21 18:07:56] * Precious is slightly elevated by the smell of food and looks to the buck asking them about food; "Doesn't really matter what; food is food. I don't suppose you have anythign to spare for her thoguh, do you?" she pats Ginger's head
  124. [2012-07-21 18:09:57] <Zeph|GM> %C3The buck looks between them and yells something in kitchenspeak behind him, before asking, "Ya'll get one helpin' like errerypony els'." He nods to Clipped_Cantle, "Coffee? Yah, we got that; an' Ah thinkin' we can make an exception fer ya, seein' as how Split's talkin' 'bout ya." He yells something behind him again.

  126. [2012-07-21 18:11:17] * Clipped_Cantle sighs in relief. Blessed coffee. "Thanks."

  129. [2012-07-21 18:13:01] <Zeph|GM> %C3The earth pony buck goes back into the cooking area and is replaces by a unicorn buck, levitating a set of five meals, complete with a cleaned tin-can of equally clean water each and a small pot of coffee for Clipped.
  130. [2012-07-21 18:14:59] * Blastwave "In the enclave I was famous." he pauses. "That's a lie."
  131. [2012-07-21 18:15:04] <Zeph|GM> %C3The unicorn nods to the group, "Where ya sittin'?"
  132. [2012-07-21 18:15:26] * Precious looks around for Fruitcake and/or Laurel in case they were up
  133. [2012-07-21 18:15:37] * Kirengo "Holy heavens above tha-" He stops and points at a random empty table if one exists.
  134. [2012-07-21 18:16:06] * Clipped_Cantle smiles at the pot of coffee. Thank you thank you thank you. She looks at Kirengo and shrugs. "Guess so." She nods, then looks back at the buck. "Yeah, that'll work. Thanks."
  135. [2012-07-21 18:17:20] <Zeph|GM> %C3The buck nods at Kirengo and levitates the food to the indicated table, setting it all down on it, "A'ight." He pauses for a second and then goes over to a group of Scribes, come to get their own breakfast.
  136. [2012-07-21 18:18:08] * Precious apparently doesn't see her family, and assumes they're still asleep, electing to sit with the rest of the group instead
  137. [2012-07-21 18:18:18] * Clipped_Cantle sits down at the table and gets to the eating.

  139. [2012-07-21 18:19:20] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer heads over to the table and sits down awkwardly. She stares at her food for a moment...then slowly begins to eat it
  140. [2012-07-21 18:19:25] * Kirengo "Thanks." He follows to the table and sits down at his place at random and starts nomming.
  141. [2012-07-21 18:20:17] <Clipped_Cantle> "So... Precious..." She says between bites of food, gulps of water, and sips of coffee. "We're... going to do some salvage in the city. If you... don't want to come, don't think anybody would blame you."
  142. [2012-07-21 18:20:20] * Blastwave sits down at the table and watches the ponies, and dog, eat. "It's as riveting as I said it would be."
  143. [2012-07-21 18:21:04] * Precious sighs; there it was. The million cap question. "I... have been thinking about this, and everything else that's happened..." She continues to eat, trying to give herself a little more time to think
  144. [2012-07-21 18:22:02] * Kirengo glances at Blastwave. "The sarcasm is almost as delicious as the fresh meal." He then looks at Precious and waits for her to finish.
  145. [2012-07-21 18:22:04] * Precious absent mindedly pets Ginger, since she's usign TK and utencils to eat her portion
  146. [2012-07-21 18:22:38] * Blastwave chuckles softly. That was high praise... or an insult depending on how good the food way.

  158. [2012-07-21 18:28:45] * Moonlight`s_Shimmer stares at the pot for a moment then takes it and sips at it, she makes a face and sets it back down

  160. [2012-07-21 18:29:53] * Clipped_Cantle chuckles. "Eh, whatever. Had worse."

  162. [2012-07-21 18:30:19] * Precious goes largely ignored and sighs. Blastwave's comment was rude, and thusly disregarded
