- GS: TLA Any% No S&Q Route Skeleton
- Major Differences:
- - Djinn route likely to be very different
- - No Gondowan skip, need to beat Briggs to leave Indra/Osenia
- - No Aqua Hydra skip
- - Early Sol Blade in Airs Rock possible, but would look totally different
- - No three room skip in Aqua Rock
- - Leaving Tundaria is ass
- - Gaia Rock is totally different
- - Magma Rock has an extra floor
- Beginning:
- - Idejima; iirc not talking to people is fastest but this is easily timed
- - Kandoran; pretty much the same, except retreat after Fog and walk back to Shrine. Could get Mysterious Card (Avoid + Useful vs King Scorp).
- - Shrine; identical to any%
- Choice 1: Dehkan
- - madra warp as before, but instead of visiting Madra you get the iron fight above the warp location, do reverse Dehkan then retreat/walk back to Madra
- - go through Dehkan normally
- Choice 2: Ocenia
- Essentially you can do King Scorpion, Airs Rock and Briggs in any order you like. Some sample routes with Yampi first:
- - Yampi; same to King Scorp, then there are choices
- -- Route 1: Mikasalla (spark/sour) > Airs Rock > reverse Yampi desert (retreat glitch to get to Alhafra) > Briggs
- -- Route 2: Finish Yampi > Airs Rock > Reverse Yampi > Briggs > Walk back to Madra
- -- Route 3: Briggs > Airs Rock > Madra warp from Airs Rock (maybe not possible with the Bowie door?)
- - Airs Rock note; new path needs to be found, Bowie door will still definitely be a thing. There is a madra warp through the door entering Airs Rock Interior (not the Bowie door)
- - Kibombo/Gabomba; basically the same, except way less bad!
- Choice 3: Post Gabomba
- - Just walk back normally.
- - Use the madra door.
- It's likely that the madra warp won't be faster because you need the healing mushroom, so walk back seems best.
- - Ship; no Aqua Hydra skip (there is an oil drop in a barrel immediately before the battle... this fight is awful)
- Choice 4: Eastern Sea
- Not needing to 0-light the Serpent opens up the possible routes in Eastern.
- Classic Path: Aqua Rock > Tundaria > Briggs Quest > Shrine of the Sea God > [Mud?] > Serpent > Ankhol > Champa > Lemuria > [Mud?]
- Serpent First: Gaia Rock > Aqua Rock > Tundaria > Briggs Quest > Shrine > [Mud?] > Ankhol > Champa > Lemuria > [Mud?]
- Serpent first allows you to get an extra jupiter djinn in apojii (Haze)
- Dungeon notes for this choice:
- - Aqua Rock; largely the same
- - No need for Yallam
- - Tundaria; Ok, getting out of here sucks
- -- Idea 1: Madra Warp > Tag Madra > Go to Gondowan Cliffs > Die [effectively forces a Sanctum Warp to Madra] > Sail to Alhafra.
- -- Idea 2: Tag E Tundaria > Get Center Prong > Die > Reverse Yampi to Alhafra
- -- Idea 3: Reverse Yampi Desert > Tag Alhafra > Go do Tundaria > Die
- Getting poisoned might be a fast way to die?
- - Briggs/Shrine of Sea God; the same up to the lack of repositioning the boat after sanctum warping
- - Mud; same as before
- - Serpent; no need to tag Champa, just go straight to Gaia Rock
- - Gaia Rock; retreat warp in the maze (do puzzle inside/drain pp/enter maze, retreat warp back through the door), then go and get the idol/turn on four of the lights (3 basically takes as long as 4 to turn on)
- - Ankhol; Probably don't need to visit Izumo on the way out, Ankhol isn't changed
- - Avimander; the same
- - Poseidon; the same
- - Lemuria; Eclipse, yolo fountain?
- Rest of the game is basically unchanged in path, but you have the choice to collect different djinn along the way:
- - Moapa; the same
- Djinn: Hesperia Settlement Mars Djinn, Chill, Aroma
- Item dupe glitch possible.
- - Jupiter; the same (do the Atteka Inlet skip? and the Jupiter retreat warp), Iris probably not useful!
- Djinn: Salt (Contigo), Geode (Atteka Inlet), Vortex (jupiter), Core (magic river)
- Summons: Iris
- - Magma; the same, up to not retreat warping on Floor 1 (check to see if there is a useful retreat warp here)
- Djinn: Two mars djinn in Magma
- - Petra/Loho/Kalt Island/Northern Reaches; no change
- Djinn: Lull, Petra, Gel
- - Mars; no change
- Djinn: GS1 Merc, Mold (Prox), Balm (Mars Lighthouse), Fugue (Mars Lighthouse)
- Items: Stuff like Valkyrie Mail, Alastair's Hood, Mist Potions from Prox
