  1. SCP-XXXX
  2.
  3. Class: Euclid
  4.
  5. Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located in an Aspen grove at [DATA EXPUNGED]. A surveillance system including, but not limited to, thermal cameras, tripwires, and sonic alarms configured to ignore the local ambiance. Absolutely no personnel are allowed within a 50 meter radius of SCP-XXXX, bordered by barbed wire, unless they are D-Class involved in research and testing. Research within the 50 meter radius must be conducted under the approval and observation of Level 4 personnel and via a remotely controlled drone. Any staff involved with SCP-XXXX must submit weekly for a psychological exam, and if significant emotional attachment is shown regarding █████, they must be removed immediately from the premise until the effects have worn off.
  6.
  7. Description: SCP-XXXX is a flawlessly carved marble grave stone belonging to █████. The grave consists of a simple square pedestal with four different engravings on each side, with an eye carved on the top of the pedestal. Each side faces one of the four cardinal directions, and the carvings on each side are as follows.
  8.
  9. North: █████, he had many friends
  10.
  11. East: Even those who did not wish to be.
  12.
  13. South: █████ ,his friends will miss him dearly
  14.
  15. West: Even those who do not wish to miss.
  16.
  17. The grave’s central column continues downward for exactly 7 feet into the ground connecting to a 10 x 7 x 7 rectangular prism, also made of marble. Sonogram analysis of the prism reveals it to be hollow, with what seems to be another box suspended within by an unknown force. All attempts to break into the prism, including high-yield explosives, have been fruitless, in spite of the box being composed of only marble. No further information has yet been gleaned from investigation of the prism.
  18. Fresh flowers appear on the grave on a random basis, with the average space between refreshing of flowers being about 2-3 days, and exposure to SCP-XXXX results in various psychological anomalies. These effects will occur over a 2 hour period, in a 3 staged process.
  19.
  20. Stage 1, 0-20 minutes of exposure: Subject will investigate grave, and will usually read each inscription multiple times. Motions of nodding and statements of affirmation have been observed as the subjects have read the inscriptions. A slight state of unrest can occur in this period of time, but has only been observed about 40% of the time. D-Class extracted during this stage will show quick recovery in about 3 to 4 hours, usually stating that the grave was, “interesting,” and they, “wished they had known █████ better.”
  21.
  22. Stage 2: 20- 40 minutes of exposure: Subject will begin to pay more attention to the grave, and distress becomes more and more apparent. Crying, kneeling, and ranting about how it was “too soon” for █████ to die. Subject will not leave the grave of their own volition, and force was required to remove each D-Class from the premises. All D-Class extracted continued to mourn █████ for an average of 2 hours before calming down, and there was further mourning for an average of a week before forgetting about the event.
  23.
  24. Stage 3: 40- 105 minutes of exposure: Subject’s state of mental stability will continue to deteriorate. Subject will begin to fabricate memories of █████ including, but not limited to, childhood memories, encounters in adult years, romantic instances in various years, and being by the side of █████ upon his death bed. At approximately 105 minutes, the actions of the subject tend to vary, ranging from searching for various objects to “give” to the grave to self-destructive behaviors including attempts at suicide.
