Tau Omnitrex: adjusts her gloves and looks at Tannis waiting for a nod to go ahead and begin

Tau Omnitrex: Good evening all of you. I hope all of you have been well since I last stood before you?

Ziggy Zaterrazung: Looking to his right, Ziggy spotted a familiar tail. He had to admit, that was a really nice outfit. Aww man, the scarlet so good.

Tau Omnitrex: Good I am glad. *she looks up and out the windows a moment* With the coming season change there was a topic I wished to adress to all of you. Something important that many seem to struggle with.... faimly.

Sylyss Dalakan: rests her elbows on her knees. She leans forward, fingers steepling together and partially masking her mouth. Eyes shift to Slarik briefly.. then sharpen on Tau.

Silaria Langes: remains... awkward and quiet, keeping her eyes down.

Tau Omnitrex: Often when this topic comes up we speak of blood. And then all the troubles that come with it rear their heads. *motions for Golah*

Golah Jo: For chua, can be either. Collectives our family and can be changed. Though we have...less than friendly relationship with actual siblings.

Aster Dashkova: looks to Syl a long moment then back ahead.

Tau Omnitrex: This is correct... Each people of the domnion has a slightly differnt take on this. As does everyone in this room.

Baccata Betalis: In a similar fashion, not all mechari feel, and yes I say feel. We have feelings, no one gasp. Some mechari feel that those who are part of their forge line, are not what they see as siblings, even by mechari terms.

Cryosia Omeganion: looks at Berry.

Tau Omnitrex: Even the domnion as a whole could be considered a faimly. We work together as best as we can for a better tomarrow. But.. if these are all so postitive. Then again.. so much scowling.

Baccata Betalis: For me, it was the mechari I spent 2 centuries with, fighting and standing by. The concept of family was adopted among us, to mean as such.

Baccata Betalis: Mind you, they are yet a pain in my- this is a church, I shall restrain myself- but I do.. love them none the less

Sylyss Dalakan: turns her head to the right just slightly, eying the red-cored mechari in the corner of her periphery.. before fixing her stare back on Tau.

Baccata Betalis: shouldn't have used the L word. Is a heartless machine, yes.

Tannis Septacron: I was forged during a very... interesting time within this Dominion's history, and as such my Forge ran several lines. I am blessed with *many* that I can call my brothers and sisters, whether they are my predecessors, contemporaries or sucessors.

Tannis Septacron: *That said*, there are only two I truly call my siblings. My *family*. It's not the blood or the shared origin that is what is truly important, it is the bond.

Baccata Betalis: gives Tannis a "thumbs up"

Tau Omnitrex: As you find yourselves drawn in by seasons change I would like you all to contemplate.. who you really consider you and yours? Who you consider close and who is simply happenstance.

Tau Omnitrex: faimly, close friends, clan, collective, junction... these are just the language to describe who is closer than close. Who we trust and confide in. Some have many.. some have few.

Aster Dashkova: also just noticed a person sitting next to her. SHe blinks a moment and shuffles to her left.

Sylyss Dalakan: rests her elbows on her knees. She nods, seeming to relax as the phrasing is spread across multiple words.

Silaria Langes: rubs the back of her head with a quiet, whisper of a groan, and goes back to hand-fidgeting in her lap.
