Frequency of Title Defenses - UFC

This is an update on how frequently various UFC titles are defended and, in some cases, just how often certain current or former champions fight. For titles with a scheduled defense coming up (Johnson on 9/5, Lawler on 11/14 etc.), those defenses were included. For the titles with no scheduled defense date, I'm going with the date of their last fight. Their defense frequency will obviously change once future dates are announced.

WW: Post-GSP			203 days (GSP vacates to UFC 189; includes 11/14/15 date)
Anderson Silva (2)		205 days (title defenses, including his fight with Lutter)
Chris Weidman			222 days (UFC 162 to UFC 194)
Georges St-Pierre		229 days (most recent title reign)
Jose Aldo			231 days (appointed UFC champ 11/20/10 to UFC 194 on 12/12/15)

Of course, every division is different. Some divisions have multiple ready contenders, some might just have one. Timing things so certain fighters fight in certain places is a very real scheduling influence, too. See any surprises?
