- Update: On top of this guide becoming outdated a better solution for loading English translations now exists.
- Rather than use Reipatcher + Sybaris just use Sybaris AIO with the new TranslationPlus plugin.
- There's no reason to use Reipatcher anymore.

- TranslationPlus, a plugin for Sybaris that lets you load translations and use an English UI:

- Sybaris AIO, a Sybaris distribution that is up to date and contains some of the most useful plugins:

- Guide
- ============================================================================================
- Step 1: Install the base game. (Consult the CM3D2 pastebin if unsure how: http://pastebin.com/qZQGcmxX)
- Step 2: Update the game to the latest version. (Latest official patch is at http://www.kisskiss.tv/cm3d2/update.php)
- Step 3: Install the Hongfire Patch (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/node/416167)
- On the Select Components part of the Hongfire Patch installer, everything above the Reipatcher checkbox is optional. As for the Reipatcher component itself, make sure it and everything under it is checked.
- -If you computer isn't set to use Japanese locale, check the "NT Locale Emulator Advance" box. This will install a loader that'll let you play Japanese games with a nonJapanese locale.
- -Unless you're using the game's USB onahole, check "Chu-B Lip Skill Duplicate Remover" This'll save you the trouble of having to run it later when you notice you have several copies of the same skills(they're ones meant to be used with a (real life) onahole.)
- On the next screen, Select Additional Tasks, all of the checkboxes are optional. Next is a Ready to Install screen, followed by a completion screen.
- **Important**
- Don't let the installer run the game. There's a checkbox on the last screen of the installer that says "Execute ReiPatcher and Run Game". Make sure it's unchecked before you click on "Finish".
- Step 4: Install Sybaris
- Here's a direct link to the current version: http://ux.getuploader.com/cm3d2/download/210/cm3d2_210.zip
- The latest version of Sybaris will be listed here in the "ツール一覧" section: http://seesaawiki.jp/cm3d2/d/%B2%FE%C2%A4
- To install Sybaris, copy opengl32.dll and the folder "Sybaris" to the root of your CM3D2 installation. It also comes with an optional tool, "SybarisArcEditor.exe", which lets you view and edit arc files.
- Step 5: Copy over Reipatcher and Sybaris configuration files
- Get them here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8snsllv492fv4qe/%5BCM3D2%5D+ReiPatcher_sybaris_configs%5Bv2.1%5D.zip
- (These files were made for the 64-bit version of the game and won't work with the 32-bit version without some editing.)
- Copy both folders to the game's root(You'll get a message asking if you'd like to merge folders, click 'Yes') and then navigate to the ReiPatcher folder for the next step. Then double click on "sybaris_setup.bat"
- sybaris_setup.bat will configure Reipatcher's files to work with Sybaris. It also removes the Reipatcher plugin "CM3D2.ModPriority.Patcher.dll". This is important because it conflicts with and prevents MultipleMaids from running. Assuming everything was set up correctly, the game will start. Go ahead and close the game.
- Step 6: Move the Mod folder
- Find the folder "Mod" in the root of the game's installation and move it to "CM3D2\Sybaris\GameData\". This is so that Sybaris will be able to use the mod files that the patch installed. Additionally, any new mods you'd like to add to the game will need to be placed in "CM3D2\Sybaris\GameData\". Sybaris will look through "CM3D2\Sybaris\GameData\" for mods when it runs and you're free to organize mods there however you'd like.
- Step 7: Install MultipleMaids
- Get it here: http://ux.getuploader.com/cm3d2_d/download/156/cm3d2_d_156.zip (Ver.17, requires patch 1.34 or higher)
- Like Sybaris, the latest version will always be listed on the following page of the wiki. It's written as "複数メイド撮影プラグイン": http://seesaawiki.jp/cm3d2/d/%B2%FE%C2%A4
- Copy "CM3D2.MultipleMaids.Plugin.dll" to "CM3D2\UnityInjector\". That's all there is to installing it. To use it, start a game and when you're in the office or Edit mode, press F7 to start it up.
- With that you should have a working copy of CM3D2 with the benefits of the Hongfire Patch, Sybaris, and access to MultipleMaids.

- Adding Mods and Plugins
- Put new mods in "CM3D2\Sybaris\GameData\"
- Put new plugins in "CM3D2\UnityInjector\"
- If a mod's instructions say to place a file in "CM3D2\Sybaris\Loader", then place it in "CM3D2\Sybaris\Loader" (no change).
- If MultipleMaids stops working, check to see if the plugin you added conflicts with MultipleMaid's hotkeys.

- FAQ
- ============================================================================================
- Q: What the fuck is this?
- A: This is a guide on how to install Custon Maid 3D 2 with a working MultipleMaids and English translation. Normally this would be a simple process if it weren't for all of the potential snags along the way.
- -
- Q: What the fuck is MultipleMaids? Why would I want that shit?
- A: MultipleMaids is a plugin for CM3D2 that allows you to create scenes by posing multiple maids, spawning items, adding game style dialogue boxes, and manipulating stages. Because it lets you access nearly all of the game's resources and within its engine, you can make screenshots that are undistinguishable from the actual game.
- It's currently the best poser that CM3D2 offers. There is an alternative available in Photo Edit Mode, however, Photo Edit Mode has some restrictions compared to MultipleMaids. Namely...
- You can spawn and pose any item, DLC, Mod, or otherwise with MultipleMaid.
- You can access stages that Photo Edit Mode currently doesn't let you access.
- Your maids can express a wider range of custom emotions with MultipleMaids.
- MultipleMaids supports custom poses and even lets you use the game's animations, including entire dance routines, on any stage in the game.
- Currently, MultipleMaids is only compatible with Sybaris.
- -
- Q: What the fuck is Sybaris?
- A: Sybaris is a tool that runs alongside Custom Maid 3D 2. It lets you run plugins for the game, some of which are exclusive to it, and offers great support for mods. It does this without altering the game's system files. Sybaris was made by the Japanese modding community so it currently does not have translation plugin.
- -
- Q: What is this Reipatcher thing?
- A: Reipatcher is a tool that the translation plugins produced at Hongfire run on. Its primary function is to patch the game's system files so that they work with plugins and mods. It's similar to Sybaris except that it edits system files directly.
- -
- Q: Can't I just use the Sybaris AIO?
- A: Its copy of MultipleMaids is ver.16, which only works up to patch 1.32. Get ver.17 of MultipleMaids if you intend to use it, and be sure to edit Sybaris AIO's configuration file properly. Alternatively, once you get everything working with this guide you can copy over plugin files that you'd like from AIO.
