- Oboro-Sakura Halloween Scramble
- NOTE: Sakura stutters a lot in this support. I did not add those stutters for dramatic effect. Also, Oboro talks a lot about the aesthetics of the kimono, some of which might be a bit harder to translate into English, so I did my best to make do. Also, I mention “cherry-colored” a lot but it’s a play on Sakura’s name as the cherry tree in Japan is called the Sakura Tree. It’s a pretty pun-heavy support.
- Part 1:
- Sakura:
- Uh, Oboro….?
- Oboro:
- Oh, hello Lady Sakura
- Are you in need of something?
- Sakura:
- I…uh…
- T-there’s something I want to ask you about
- Oboro:
- Oh, do you?
- I’d be honored to answer your questions.
- Please ask me anything, my lady.
- Sakura:
- …….
- I-I suppose you’re the best person to ask this
- A-are you sure you want to hear about this?
- Oboro:
- Uh, of course…?
- Sakura:
- I-it’s just….
- It’s really childish….
- Oboro:
- Huh?
- Sakura:
- I-I cant!
- Please pretend you didn’t hear anything!
- I can’t ask you such a stupid and immature question!
- I’m sorry if I seem so childish!
- Oboro:
- Hey!
- Lady Sakura!
- Eh, I wonder where she ran off to?
- Part 2:
- Oboro:
- Lady Sakura
- Sakura:
- Oboro…
- Oboro:
- About before…
- I don’t believe that Lady Sakura is childish at al, so please be at ease around me
- Sakura:
- Eh?
- I-is that true?
- Oboro:
- I swear under the sun that this is true
- I have never thought of you as childish at all!
- Sakura:
- I-is that so…
- That’s nice to hear…
- Oboro:
- So please, Lady Sakura, do not hesitate to ask me anything you need
- Sakura:
- …..
- I understand…
- I-it’s just that you are so fashionable and so beautiful in your style!
- I’ve often heard from others that your kimonos are the most beautiful
- In fact, I’ve often wanted t-t-to…
- To ask you about how to dress in a kimono that makes me look more mature!
- S-so I wanted to consult you…
- Oboro:
- ….
- Sakura:
- I-I’m sorry if that was a stupid question!
- I know I seem like such a child right now…
- Oboro:
- There, there. You don’t have to worry about anything at all.
- I also thought that Lady Sakura looks very beautiful in her kimono as well.
- Sakura:
- Huh?
- Oboro:
- Sakura often wears a very beautiful dress
- It is designed to be worn in all sorts of areas and it has a very beautiful cherry-tinted hue to it
- I had never thought about using that color before, but now that I see it on you
- I think even I would look more mature in it as well!
- But I thought it was a rather rude thing to say to you, Lady Sakura
- I thought you may be offended if I said so…
- Sakura:
- I-it looks nice on me?
- I’m glad that you are so honest with me about this. It makes me happy to know!
- Oboro:
- For example, look at how the colors contrast against one another
- If you want fashion advice though, I think your flower-patterned kimono contrasts well with the dark-blue color of the ground!
- Sakura:
- Flower pattern against a dark-blue background
- That sounds beautiful.
- I also thought about some ideas about the kimono as well, where we can incorporate the cherries and blossoms from each of the four seasons!
- How should we design the waistband?
- Oboro:
- The same cherry-tinted color!
- I think that’s a perfect idea!
- You have a very nice fashion sense!
- Sakura:
- I-is that true?
- You wouldn’t mind if you could fit this onto me when the time comes?
- Oboro:
- I would be glad to!
- I-I mean, of course, my lady.
- Sakura:
- I-I also wish to talk more about this with you too!
- But the Faceless (Nosferatu in Japanese) are still around here
- We must defeat them before we can get to designing the kimono
- Oboro:
- Ah, I forgot about them…
- The Faceless…
- Sakura:
- Well, shall we talk about this another time afterwards?
- Oboro:
- Yes, of course!
- I’ll go ahead and begin to make the preparations for the cherry-colored kimono
