FE:FH August 18 Changelog

Exordium: Awakening
• Physical appearances and descriptions of Lester, Brooks, Desmond, and Samuel have been fleshed out upon their introduction. Originally a fifth character was supposed to meet them and describe them to the reader, but this plan eventually fell through and they remained somewhat vague afterwards.

Prologue: Two-Sided Coin
• Chapter title modified from “Two Faces” to “Two-Sided Coin,” mainly to reference the two sides of this story, being the Justice Brigade and Ylissean Vanguard.
• Chast(ity)’s full name is revealed when she is first introduced. It was kind of jarring for Chris to say her full name after no other character mentioning it beforehand, and has been rectified to fix this.
• Nila’s nightmares have had their setting and contents changed to better reflect the current vision of the story.

1: Beginnings
• Chapter title modified from “Passage of Time” to “Beginnings,” mainly to save Passage of Time for a future chapter.
• Nila now alludes to his mental condition after seeing his sister’s reflection in his mirror.

2: Guardians of Regna Ferox
• Chapter title modified from “Guardians of Ferox” to “Guardians of Regna Ferox."

3: Whispers and Shouts
• No big changes, but this chapter has received minor grammatical and syntax edits alongside the other chapters.

4: Abnorun
• Chris’ design has received an overhaul to make him less generic and his description has been updated to match. He now matches the chibi that appears on the FE:FH subreddit background.

5: Reach of the Divine Dragon, Part I
• Chapter title modified from “Reach of Naga, Part I” to “Reach of the Divine Dragon, Part I” as I originally intended. This change applies to Parts II and III as well.

6: Reach of the Divine Dragon, Part II
• Jae’s headpiece, as mentioned in Part III, now appears in the metal chest alongside his dragonstone. Ulysses now throws the headpiece to Chast alongside the dragonstone at the end of the chapter.

7: Reach of the Divine Dragon, Part III
• Grace now notices Nila’s pendant when he falls on her in the underground passage. Nila also rubs his pendant when he contemplates suicide in King Caesar’s workshop to calm himself down.
• Corrected a slip of tongue from Kayla. She now correctly refers to the “chameleon” as a he instead of a she.

All Chapters and Class Changes
• Minor grammatical and syntax corrections and fixes.
• Esthara is now a “Strategist” instead of a “Red Tactician.” Rey’mi shares this class with her.
• Samuel is now a “Scholar” instead of a “Prodigy Priest.” He is still referred to as a priest in the context of the story, but his technical class has been changed to better reflect him being straight out of schooling and onto the battlefield.
