  1. The civilised inclines to the fact that human beings develop into some degree of savagery in certain situations.
  2. As the war is overall portrayed as evil,In DEDE, we can scroll back to the main present that the conflict has been in virtue of the once civilised countries: Britain, France and Germany. This indicates the moral of evolving into some form of barbarity; after an event or reason in this case conflict.
  3. I can lend support with the quote - “Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori ” this words delve into the opinion of why death is a thoughtful thing as it translates to “It is sweet and proper to die for one's country.” relating to the likable adjective “sweet” describes how owen mocks his own opaque propaganda at the time - as were being bias; they wanted more soldiers to sign up. Owen wants to expedition the fact that his life in wartime was adversely:- also that his experiences were worry.
  4. Furthermore during ww1 many young men and boys were recruited as they felt they wanted to fight for one's country- this lead's to the conspiracy that they were once innocent's to then follow to become savage.
  5. Similarly this is mirrored in the well known novel, “Lord of the Flies” as Golding first introduces the virtuous infants as innocent so the reader is pushed to believe the enumeration of the significane throughout the story. This leads to the resolution of the children becoming killers, shocking the reader with disbelieve because no one wouldn’t expect boys they’re age to perform such disgraceful acts. “This’ll be a real hunt! Who’ll come’” We can point out that the characters can construe to be impatient and eager to hunt which links to the idea of enhancing savagery; almost internal conflict. For instance the period of the change in behaviour is basically to a battle internal in a mind. For example the boys from the LOTF and the young soldiers both became crude after points of conflict. In the end owen and goulding's purpose was to alert and loudly inform the audience to recognize that that conflict of war ended in death and savagery.
