  8. //Personal Skill: Agility: When full movement used, +2 AS. While the laws of motion may not have been codified, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Momentum is helpful sometimes.
  9. ////Personal Skill: When doubling the enemy, +2 Damage on the second strike. Anyone who’s heard a master swordsman talk about their craft has heard swordplay compared to a performance. Being a dancer herself, Alissa takes this to the logical conclusion.

  36. Bio:
  37. Alissa’s family is rather split between her father and mother’s sides. Her mother is a travelling performer, and the head of the troupe. A master performer and a free spirit, she’s always traveling and hasn’t been… there, for most of Alissa’s life. When she has been present, though, is when Alissa’s had the best times; her mother is far less restrictive than her father, and she even taught her to dance.
  38.
  39. Her father’s family is more… traditional. As the family were mostly merchants, they were not as negatively affected by the invasion or take over as others, and in fact profited immensely to the point they are on par with some noble families. Her father is also rather strict; he holds Alissa to his principals, and he and the rest of the family have specific ideas of how a lady should act.
  40.
  41. How the two met, is a mystery to Alissa. Cedric (Alissa’s father), claims to have met her mother during one of the latter’s shows. Their… interaction, was allegedly supposed to end in their marriage. But they never did, and once Alissa was born, her mother left. Gwen, Alissa’s mother, claims that Cedric knew full well that no such arrangement was made, and it was simply a mutual physical attraction.
  42.
  43. As for Alissa herself, she was left with her father. Gwen’s lifestyle is not one conducive to child-rearing. However, she visited whenever she was in the area. Cedric was left with Alissa in his care. While he wouldn’t be completely unjustified in disowning her, seeing as she was a bastard, he had no other heir; a backup couldn’t hurt. Alissa was raised as one would expect a lady with wealth to be. However, she took after her mother; she often left the manor without permission and wandered for hours. While she was often punished for this, it didn’t stop her.
  44.
  45. Recently her father married, and had a son. As she’s now an adult, and doesn’t have to worry about leaving her father without an heir, Alissa decided to leave the restrictive family, and travel around.
  46.
  47. One thing to note is that the Erite family has a close connection with the Ishim family. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship; the Erite family gets connections in the world of nobles, and the Ishim family gets funds to keep their respectability. While Alissa does not particularly care about this arrangement, it did let her make friends with the heir of the Ishim family, Cecil. Their mutual appreciation of the performing arts made this an easy friendship to begin.
  48.
  49. If they get in at the same point (if both do): When they both decided to travel, they mentioned this in their letters to each other; they decided to travel together.
