  2. so
  3. UnknownSmurf
  4. ?
  5. RevRebel[AE]
  6. Just found TIR's underused forum
  7. 11:18 RevRebel[AE]
  8. Did they really just sign a treaty with the first person to visit their forums?
  9. UnknownSmurf
  10. They changed their theme and stuff recently, but the treaty just carried over from their previous incarnation iirc
  11. RevRebel[AE]
  12. I'm a pretty big star wars fan, so I'll try and talk them out of doing something stupid
  13. UnknownSmurf
  14. You attacked their oDoAP partner for no reason, what reaction of theirs would be "stupid" ?
  15. RevRebel[AE]
  16. joining the war militarily; they can keep aiding if they like, but dragging themselves in (possibly yourselves?) wouldn't be the best idea
  17. UnknownSmurf
  18. Why would them joining the war militarily be a bad idea? Was it a bad idea when you joined the war militarily?
  19. RevRebel[AE]
  20. Yes, lol.
  21. RevRebel[AE]
  22. I wanted to do something on my way out of CN and methrage was an obvious choice.
  23. UnknownSmurf
  24. I don't see why that absolves you of the consequences.
  25. RevRebel[AE]
  26. Could say the same for LN, to be honest. And more pertinently, I haven't involved TCB or AE's own protector in the conflict.
  27. RevRebel[AE]
  28. So, the only nations that would deal with the 'consequences' would be the nations not responsible, since there is plenty of coverage in my range.
  29. UnknownSmurf
  30. You attacked because you saw an opportunity to hit a poorly connected target and you thought you could get away with it. I doubt TPF and TCB will be happy to bail you out.
  31. RevRebel[AE]
  32. TCB is. They were going to go in on methrage, but messed up their down-declare and kashmir jumped in. TPF won't join our offensive, but defence is another matter.
  33. RevRebel[AE]
  34. The first part sohuld be obvious if you were watching aid screens as much as I have
  35. RevRebel[AE]
  36. Incidentally, methrage offered peace only for himself yesterday, not including any other LN nations, which underlines how one-dimensional LN is. I passed on this information to stonewall, the only other nation involved atm.
  37. RevRebel[AE]
  38. That isn't the hallmark of a good ally, nor is the way he has handled peace negotiations which is something your protectorate may not have any knowledge of.
  39. UnknownSmurf
  40. I highly doubt methrage arranged peace for only himself, he has some character flaws but leaving people on the battlefield is not one of them. But I haven't seen the logs or anything like that so I can't say for sure.
  41. RevRebel[AE]
  42. He keeps coming up with offers, withdrawing them, making new ones so rapidly that by the time everyone has agreed, we have to start over.
  43. RevRebel[AE]
  44. And yes he literally did. I have a screenshot. Offered to share ti with stonewall, but he hasn't asked for it yet
  45. UnknownSmurf
  46. If you are doing this as a last hurrah before you quit the game why are you even in peace talks?
  47. RevRebel[AE]
  48. let me check if I've uploaded it yet
  49. UnknownSmurf
  50. This seems contradictory to what you said earlier, which makes me feel as though you are lying.
  51. RevRebel[AE]
  52. Because even thought I as an individual am leaving, not everyone in AE is
  53. UnknownSmurf
  54. Then why didn't you leave the AE AA prior to this?
  55. RevRebel[AE]
  56. Because I didn't think this war through whatsoever. This wasn't planned.
  57. UnknownSmurf
  58. I believe you but I still have to support my allies unfortunately. I do hope this is resolved in a way where everyone is happy but I need to speak with methrage and TIR.
  59. RevRebel[AE]
  60. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/uMFgX4uKnjymwBiEs7KQfS78Ej09Dg3kFgDw9PSj4Qw=w1598-h784-no
  61. RevRebel[AE]
  62. I definitely want to speak with TIR about this. In any case, AE's involvement will have a limited time frame, while Kashmir's might be prolonged, so best you focus efforts there
  63. UnknownSmurf
  64. Eh thats a stretch. I think he's saying that the lower tiers might finish out their wars until they expire -- considering his side is winning GAs/everything he wants to give stonewall the option to loot more money.
  65. RevRebel[AE]
  66. stonewall isn't finning overall, especially since the involvement of kashmir, so it won't really do him that much good
  67. RevRebel[AE]
  68. the nations he attacked were inactive, which skews most of that data
  69. UnknownSmurf
  70. I haven't looked at it closely enough.
  71. UnknownSmurf
  72. It's irrelevant at this point though.
  73. RevRebel[AE]
  74. If TIR waits until AE pulls out before declaring, it would benefit us both
  75. UnknownSmurf
  76. How?
  77. RevRebel[AE]
  78. Because AE's ability to inflict damage on their ally is limited, compared to the others at war
  79. RevRebel[AE]
  80. so you end up wasting war slots on a non-threat, giving kashmir, lph et al speace and time to get the upper hand
  81. RevRebel[AE]
  82. Like I said, it's something that I'd like to discuss with TIR directly
  83. UnknownSmurf
  84. How soon would you be able to peace out so that only Kashmir is on the battlefield?
  85. UnknownSmurf
  86. I would say your best bet to contact them is to shoot DoorNail an in-game message.
  87. RevRebel[AE]

  89. RevRebel[AE]
  90. I can only peace out as fast as meth wants to, but that's our current offer to LN
  91. RevRebel[AE]
  92. messaging him atm
