### original post: You have found the portal to Equestria. Once you walk in, you can never return. What do?

Part 1: IT BEGINS!!!

  >	  be biking up in the Sandia Mountains
  >	  taking a rest in the shade of the forest
  >	  something flickers strangely in the corner of you vision
  >	  you look at it. Slightly off in the distance, you see a dark aura
  >	  it's changing color, slowly becoming brighter
  >	  you decide to bike towards it, it's not that far off of the trail behind you
  >	  bike on the trail for a good 30 seconds, and start hiking towards the portal
  >	  after a 5 minutes or so, you reach the portal
  >	  exhausted, you sit down next to it and look into it
  >	  it appears to lead to a dark forest... not like the one you're in, but darker and more cartoony
this looks familiar. Maybe...
  >	  you got it! It looks like that forest thing from that show your sister is obsessed with...

  >	  you peek your head into the portal.
  >	  an extreme force starts pulling on our hair. You immediately pull out.
"The fuck?!"
  >	  you look behind the portal. Its what you expected to see: nothing, as if it weren't there.
  >	  you hear some cheerful humming, and go back around to the front of the portal.
  >	  a cheerful looking pink horse is barely visible, mostly hidden behind a tree.
  >	  you stare open-mouthed, as the horse walks around the tree and spots what you can only assume is the other side of the portal from her perspective
  >	  the only words the seep out of your mouth quietly are:
"the fuuuuck?" as you contort your face to match your confusion.
Is that the only phrase you know? Idiot.
  >	  The pony stops humming and opens it's mouth
  >	  "Oh, hello there animal! Who are you?"
  >	  you continue you open-mouthed daze, then quickly recompose yourself.

"I'm, uh... Anon."
  >	  "Ahah! I knew I was heading in the right direction!"
"You what?"
  >	  "The portal, silly! I was told to go find it and close it so that we don't get another parasprite infection or something! But you seem alright. Still, looking through this right now, your world looks strange mister!"
  >	  Pinkie peeks her head through the portal and starts looking around.
  >	  You realize that she has no issues with the portal, even though you were almost sucked in by it.
  >	  "It's actually kind of depressing. It's not really colorful like Equestria. There's a lot of brown and gray. It makes me think of the rock farm."
  >	  She returns to her side of the portal and looks at you.
"You said you were going to close this portal, right?"
  >	  You swear you're hallucinating. The sooner it stops, the better. You can't be sure of your own safety when this shit happens.
  >	  "Yeah I did! They take a while to close though, probably about a week or so for these two worlds to be finally cut off"
"Uhhh, right. Look, I'm going to leave and... figure something out. Yeah..."
  >	  You stand up and walk towards your bike to take the water bottle mounted to it.
  >	  After taking a nice long swig, you look back at the portal and pedal off.
  >	  You needed to go home to both clear your mind and try to figure out what the hell you just saw.
