Installing software
=================
Offline:
1. Install FBI or inject it into H&S
2. Put the software you want to install on your SD card
3. Select SD in FBI, navigate to the cia
4. Select it with A, and select Install or Install & Delete
5. Done.

Online:
1. Install FBI or inject it into H&S
2. Get a QR code that links to the cia you want to install
3. Select the QR code option in FBI
4. Scan the QR code
5. Press A
6. Press B
7. Done

Downloading games

3dsiso

If you can't find something on the titlekeys site, you might have luck
finding it on 3dsiso as a cia. The main difference between cias and the
tickets from the titlekeys site is that the tickets included in the cias
aren't really 100% valid, so while you can still play the games you won't
be able to reinstall them from the eshop.
To install games downloaded in cia format from 3dsiso just put them
somewhere on your SD, navigate to it via FBI, and select install or install
and delete. The difference between the two is that FBI automatically deletes
the cia file after installing if you select install and delete.
Note that you really, really, should use adblock while visiting 3DSISO and
a throwaway e-mail and password when registering, because they get their shit
hacked on a bi-weekly basis.


Decrypt9

To install Decrypt9, download it, put the Decrypt9WIP.bin file into your
luma/payloads folder, and rename it according to the scheme explained in the Luma
wiki (https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Other-features-and-notes).
After installing it, follow these steps to dump a cart:
1) Hold the button you set to launch Decrypt9 at boot
2) Select "Gamecart Dumper Options" in the main menu
3) Select "Dump Cart to CIA"
4) Let it do its thing


FreeShop

FreeShop lets you download games directly to your 3DS, so it's
the simplest one to use if you're dum.
You'll need an encTitleKeys.bin for FreeShop to work properly, you can
get it from http://3ds.titlekeys.gq/downloadenc or you can scan the qr code at
https://my.mixtape.moe/ncmykb.png instead.
To install FreeShop either download and install the .cia linked above, or scan
the QR code with FBI.


Title Keys

FBI has functionality to install files via QR. This can be used with tickets.
3ds.titlekeys.gq has most of the games that were ever released in the eshop,
if you search for a game, click on the QR button, and then scan that with FBI
and confirm twice it'll install a ticket file, which allows you to play and
download that game from the eshop, and then downloads and installs the game
directly from Nintendo.
This also works with out-of-region games, DLC, and updates if they've been
uploaded to the site.
If you don't want to install the tickets via FBI, for example because you're
super impatient and don't want to wait for the 3DS's shitty wifi or because
you can't connect your 3DS to your network, you can download the files on
your PC and convert them into a cia with FunKeyCIA.
Note that FunKeyCIA is a a terminal application and may be a bit hard to get
into, but the documentation on its GitHub and in its GBATemp thread are alright.

	A: Yes. It was fun while it lasted.

    A: No. Nintendo can't tell pirates and legit customers apart, and
       even if they could all their bans are circumventable.
	   Note that you might get banned if you play unreleased games online
	   before their official release date.

    A: Yes. If you're playing games from your region you can just update

    A: Search for parts of the name, for example "Pok" instead of "Pokemon"
       and / or set the region filter to ALL.

    A: Uninstall the game via FBI's Titles menu, remove its ticket by finding its ID
	   in FBI's Tickets menu (you can find this ID on 3ds.titlekeys.gq), and then
	   reinstall it with whatever method you want to use.

13. Q: What the fuck is a legit CIA?
	A: Legit CIAs are CIAs that came preinstalled on new systems and were not acquired
	   from the eShop or cart dumps. These can be installed on non-cfw systems, and
	   include most Pokémon titles, Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing New Leaf, and some
	   others.

14. Q: I heard Cruel, the freeShop dev, was v&, is that true? If so, will I also
	   get v& for using freeShop?
	A: Cruel did get v&, but it was because of pizza, not because of piracy.
	   FreeShop also got forked with new features, so you should probably switch
	   to Paul's fork.
