- sc stop Diagtrack
- sc delete Diagtrack
- plus go to
- Task Scheduler Library/ Microsoft/ Windows/ Application Experience - disable all 3 of the things in there.
- Everything under "Application Experience"
- Everything under "Autochk"
- Everything under "Customer Experience Improvement Program"
- Only the "Microsoft-Windows-DiskDiagnosticDataCollector" under "Disk Diagnostic"
- You should also disable "WinSAT" under "Maintenance" if you want windows to stop pointlessly testing and retesting your hardware to rate it against other hardware.
- I also go to "Media Center" and click the "status" column, then select all non-disabled entries and disable them.
- Oh and while you're at it, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) into "Run" and set "Remote Registry" to "Disabled" instead of "Manual". It "Enables remote users to modify registry settings on this computer"
