  6. +Socialism them lovin` it __ In principle I do not disagree with much of what you have written. I would only note that the "ISS" object can be unmistakably seen with the naked eye. There is no need for a telescope to see the "ISS" object.
  7.
  8. You and a friend from a far away country can check when the "ISS" object will be visible to each of you in sequence. If you see the "ISS" object and then your friend sees it (or vice-versa), and provided it is the same "ISS" object (i.e., it has not been deviously switched with another in-between), then it must have travelled from one location to the other at the claimed speed. And that would only be possible if it is travelling through "outer space" (for all intents and purposes, a "frictionless vacuum").
  9.
  10. To know that the "ISS" object is not merely a "light" but instead a physical object, you can witness it during a lunar transit. During a lunar transit you are able to see that it has a discernible shape and does not emit any light.
  11.
  12. There are many amateur clips of this common phenomenon posted to YouTube. But, if you do not trust any of them, then you will need a telescope and perform the observation for yourself. Anyone with access to fairly inexpensive equipment can do this.
  13.
  14. Only one of the lunar transit clips posted to YouTube needs to be authentic because if the "ISS" object is not a physical object, then all of the clips would need to be fake. Perhaps some of the lunar transits uploaded to YouTube are fake. Certainly, some of them seem fake to me. But for our purposes, if we are unwilling or unable to do the experiment for ourselves, only one of the clips needs to be authentic for us to be satisfied the "ISS" is a physical object.
  15.
  16. Of course, just because we can observe the "ISS" is a physical object does not tell us anything about what may be inside of it. Perhaps there is nothing inside of it. Perhaps it was once inhabited with little men and women but is now empty! Who knows?! A lot more trust is required for that side of things.
  17.
  18. Whatever the case may be, what we can empirically observe and measure about the exterior of the "ISS" from the Earth's surface enables us to be more confident than not that "outer space" does indeed exist. And that was the topic I was discussing with "John le Bon" ("JLB").
  19.
  20. Despite everything I have pointed out to "JLB" (I've now given you a summary) he continues to insist that "outer space" does not exist. As far as I know he continues to insist that there is no way to figure out anything about "outer space" from the Earth's surface. I'll leave it up to you to decide what that may or may not say about him, his (dogmatic) claims, and his problem solving abilities.
