Guide started from very simple and very primitive things, but will progressive with more complicated things with every step. So keep reading...[/b][/right][/size]

[b]Q. I have got a new equipment ("helmet" for example), but I have a helmet already. How do I know if my current gear is better than another?[/b]
[b]A. [/b]To define which gear is better/worse we use special parameter named "base". Actually higher base for various stats means better equipment.
To know base of different gear you need just to hover onto their stat and game will tell you base for this specific stats.
For example:
I have two rapiers: "Superior Rapier of Balance" & "Superior Rapier of Slaughter".

I need to know which one has better damage?
Click on "Superior Rapier of Balance" to highlight it:

Now press [b]"C"-button[/b] on keyboard - popup like this should appear:

Now move your cursor on "Attack Damage" and wait a few millisecond - "base" text will appear.

Now do same procedure with other gear you want to compare ("Superior Rapier of Slaughter" in my case):

As you can see "Superior Rapier of Slaughter" has [b]32.56 Base Damage[/b], but "Superior Rapier of Balance" has only [b]22.03[/b] - this mean that former gear has better damage than latter one.
Now you can compare other stats this way and figure out which gear is superior overall.
[i][u][b]TIP:[/b][/u] You can place both (or even more!) gear's popup windows near each other to compare them quickly like this:[/i]

[b]Q. But gears have A LOT stats, do I really need to move my cursor back and forward again and again?[/b]
[b]A. [/b]The community of the game realised this problem and developed a special script to compare stuff faster. The name of this script - [b]Equipment Comparison[/b].

After installing Equipment Comparison Script open your gear's popup once more and press [b]"T"-button[/b] on your keyboard. This way you will see base value for all stats at once.

Very useful - you do not need to move your mouse from now on and you can directly compare all stats at once.

[b]Q. But it is still long to compare. Maybe there is even more automatic method to compare gears?[/b]
[b]A. [/b]Yes, and again, thanks to Equipment Comparison Script you can compare gears even faster.
First you need to equip one of the gear you want to compare ("Superior Rapier of Balance" in my case):

Now, click (highlight) another gear you want to compare against, press [b]"C"-button[/b] for popup and now press[b] "O"-button[/b]. You will see something like this:

[color=#CC0000]RED value [/color] means that this gear has worse stats
[color=#33CC00]GREEN value [/color] means that this gear has better stats
As you can see - in my case "Superior Rapier of Slaughter"  [i]deal more damage, has better parry chance,  better burden and interference and better dexterity PAB[/i]. BUT[i] has worse strength PAB, attack accuracy and attack crit chance[/i].
[i][u][b]EXPLANATION:[/b][/u] PAB means "Primary attribute bonus" - they are special equipment's stats which enhance your characters stats (your dexterity will sum up with all your equipment's dexterity, e.t.c.) [b]Q. Okay, now I know how to compare different gears, but how can I know is this gear overall good? I mean - is this gear has better stats at all? It this some kind of range for stats?[/b]
[b]A. [/b]Yes, special range tables do exist for every gear's stats in the game. You can find this table range [url=https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Ranges]HERE[/url].
This table works this way - you should find the base value for some gear's stats and then move to this table range, find your gear and check this base value against minimum and maximum.
For example, my "Superior Rapier of Balance" [b]has 22.03 damage[/b]. On the table you can find that [b]minimum is 20, but maximum is 26.6[/b]:

So, my 22.03 damage is so-so...
Let's check for "Superior Rapier of Slaughter". Base damage [b]is 32.56[/b]. [b]Minimum in table is 26.82, maximum in table is 34.99[/b]:

So, for this weapon we can say that damage stat is not bad.

Move to popup of your gear and press [b]"Y"-button[/b] and you will something like this:

As you can see near every stat some weird formula shown with a pattern "LETTER" "PLUS or MINUS" "NUMBER".
What all this does mean?
[b]"LETTER[/b]" can be S E M L or P, - This stands for "Superior", "Exquisite", "Magnificent", "Legendary" and "Peerless". Item's quality.
[b]"MINUS" and "PLUS"[/b] - means "compare to maximum value" in range table
[b]"NUMBER"[/b] - stands for value.
Let's see this on examples:
On a screenshot above you see "[b]S-3.45[/b]" in damage stat. This literally means "This weapon's damage on a 3.45 lower than maximum for Superior possibly". If this weapon will have "S-3.44" - this will be better; if this weapon will have "S-3.46" - this will be even worse.
Then, for Strength PAB you can "[b]S-0.07[/b]". This literally means "This weapon's strength PAB on a 0.07 lower than maximum for Superior possibly". This is VERY GOOD, This mean that this parameter almost perfect. Not as perfect as "S-0.01", but still.
More harder example, this is screenshot for my "Legendary Savage Power Leggings of Warding" I have in possession:

Let's check Attack damage. It says "[b]L-0.24 / M+2.16[/b]". This means "attack damage" stat is 0.24 lower than possibly maximum for Legendary in this category and on 2.16 higher then maximum for Magnificent in this category
Another stat - "Attack Accuracy" is "[b]M-0.12 / E+0.68[/b]". This means that this stat not even good to qualify as legendary; this stats ever lower than Magnificent's maximum (on a 0.12), but on other hand has better stats that maximum Exquisite on +0.68. If this stats will have 0.13 more points in base, than if will be like "L-xxx / M+0.01"

Did you get it? Try to find gear that have -0 as close as possibly. You had found "M-1.10"? Good, but "M-1.05" even better, while "M-0.05" almost perfect.

About this script - it names very easily - HV Items Script - and do not disturb you in any way. What this script do is collecting your equipment's EID/Key while you are on Equipment or Forge pages, and send them to server to parse in future.
[b][color=#CC0000]I am hardly asking you - please, do use this script if you can. This way you will greatly help community co collect more data about equipment and keep this table range up to date.[/color][/b]

[b]Q. I have found equipment I don't really need. I am mage, but this equipment for melee or vice verse. What should I do with it?[/b]
[b]A. [/b]There four possibly way to deal with useless (for you) equipment:
[indent]1. Sell them on Bazaar for money
2. Salvage them for materials
3. Sell them in your shop
4. Do auction for them (by yourself or proxy)[/indent]
There is no opportunity to write complete guide what to do with different item, because there so many possibility of different stats, quality, suffix, prefix and rare combination availably, but few hints may be provide:
[indent]1. [b]The giant myth is all Legendary are better than Magnificent[/b]. Actually there some Legendary that costs and worth less than some Magnificent. For example, for "Magnificent Savage Power Helmet of Slaughter" you can easily get ~200,000 credits, but your "Legendary Cobalt Plate Helmet of Warding" barely will costs 50,000 credits. It is all depends on stats and attributes your gear has.

2. One of the thing that represent, does this gear good to sell or not, are PABs. [b]More your equipment have PABs - higher chance that this gear will be sell good[/b]. For example, shield that has STR, DEX and END PABs will costs higher than shield with AGI and DEX PABs only.

3. There are six types or armor: heavy, light and cloth. Heavy divide into Plate (popular) and Power (rare), same for light: Leather (popular) and Shade (rare) and cloth: Cotton (popular) and Phase (rare). [b]You maybe think that rare gears costs more and you are almost right, but in some situation popular-armor may costs not bad too.[/b][/indent]
[indent][indent]3.1. Plate-armor may be sell good if it have [b]Shielding or Mithril prefix[/b] or [b]Protection suffix[/b].
3.2. Power-armor itself[b] very good thing to sell[/b]. In combination with [b]Savage prefix[/b] or [b]Slaughter suffix[/b] it may costs very high.
3.3. Cotton-armor has good room to sell but only if it has [b]Charged prefix[/b] or [b]Elementalist, Heaven-sent or Demon-fiend suffix[/b]
3.4. Phase-armor [b]every time sell good[/b], but it can be sell even better if it has [b]Radiant prefix[/b] and [b]Heimdall or Fenrir suffix[/b]
3.5. Leather-armor may have good market for [b]Agile prefix[/b] and [b]Protection suffix[/b] only.
3.6. Shade-armor [b]very good to sell[/b], but more good if this gear have [b]Agile or Savage prefix[/b] and [b]Fleet or Shadowdancer suffix[/b][/indent][/indent]

[indent]4. Shields can be three different categories: Kite, Buckler and Force. For now, [b]Force shield is running the ball and this type of can be sell pretty good[/b]. Practice shown that the [b]most valuable stats for shield is Block stats. Higher block your shield got - better you can sell it.[/b] Funny thing is your Magnificent Force shield may have better sell rates than Legendary Kite and Buckler.

5. For staffs you can [b]use this table to define is your staff is good to be sold or auctioned[/b]: [/indent]

[indent]6. For 1H weapons there is only one great [b]suffix - Slaughter[/b], but [b]Rapier of Nimble[/b] will have good price too. For prefix look for [b]Ethereal prefix[/b] - this is best prefix around overly. But [b]Hallowed Rapier or Demonic Rapier[/b] has good price too.[b] Weapon without prefix at all is absolutely useless[/b] and worth nothing. Among all 1H weapons good price have rapiers.

7.[b] For 2H weapons thing almost same as for 2H weapons[/b], but they have no Nimble suffix. Instead Rapier we have Estoc here.[/indent]
